I'm going to have to agree with chaos_kyes_fallen_angel. I finally had the time to check my updates on MM.org, and found out that you have about 7 chapters out, already. I'm SO late. Marvin is such a butthead! Taking advantage of Valerie, like that. I'd say it's about time she ditched his a*s. Dude, he took advantage of V while she was SLEEPING! who the fuck does that?!?! She should be pissed at Marvin for having sex with her without her consent! I'm glad she is going to go confront Evan, and I'm glad she's breaking up with the rude wet blanket! Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see how she handles this! :D |

Oh God... Drunk V is the best V for handling this issue (Lol). What in the world will Evan thing? And jeeze, if she doesn't explain this properly, Evan could end up thinking Marvin raped her intentionally (who knew there was such a thing as unintentional rape LOL). And then Evan is going to be furious and kill Marvin. He does deserve to be smacked out of his little world... :D Well, can't wait for the next chapter, and I'm so happy you updated. |

At least Evan realized that there was something happening beyond smelling Marvin on her, but that really isn't much for him to go on. Valerie, on the other hand, is not doing the smartest thing by being drunk. Wine may be her choice, but it can get people just as sloshed as any other drink. And with doing that, I have a feeling that she's going to pull off a very Evan-like thing. I just hope that when she recovers, that she's not going to regret what she did too much. And I hope that she doesn't end up spending the rest of the night in the drunk tank or worse. Keep up the good work, dark |

Hindsite is 20/20 isn't it...and with Even's past, that's gonna be a bitch! People who live in glass houses..yada, yada...what were his words so long ago? It's just sex...it's a powerful force having a youkai in your head pointing out that you have done worse...much worse, and realizing just how bad she looked, after the fact of course. Sometimes you just cant afford to get ON the high horse cause the fall off is so far. Nothing happens the easy way for these 2, does it? She's working on her 3rd bottle of wine and I bet Even's about to go over to smooth things out between them. I wonder if he will ever figure out what hit him. When she's drunk, he has a VERY hard time her...or NOT handling her as it were, LOL! I can't wait to see what happens next. Take your time Sue, feel better, and I will continue to send good thoughts your way. |

Fantastic chapter, V's thoughts about Evan not making her choose because he knew he would loose made me think of Kagome sooo much. Then at the end his reaction reminded me so much of Inuyasha it was funny. He may be their grandson but out of all of your characters his core personality to me seems like the most synchronized combination of the two. |

Can't look away, I'm so involved in this story. I knew it'd be angst-to-the-max, at this point. Honestly, I wonder if Marvin sensed V's lack of contentment, all these months, and was trying to keep her with a baby (cheesy situation but became a cliche 4 a reason). Never DID read about him pulling off a condom--though I'm sure she's got BC, but they're not 100% fool-proof pills--post-coitus. Still holding out for Kaci and V's relationship...so many layers of hurt and supposed betrayal in those characters--Evan, too! REALLY want to see a heart-to-heart Canin and Evan chapter, that gets to the MEAT of things--possibly, with Gin &/or V involved. still reading along, between all I do I a week. So glad to hear you Dad is better and, yes, Sue, I did pray for the situation and all involved. Happy Holidays! **hugs** |

Val... you need to break things off with Marvin officially before you go talk to Evan. Oh, and shower BEFORE lololol (she don't know about all that yet though). Poor Valarie and Evan :( not an easy road for these two. Loved the chapter Sue, I wish my reviews could be more than me "talking" to your characters but I have nothing helpful or constructive to say!
