That was greatness, Evan should have kicked that guys add on principle of the matter. V is slowly starting to get more comfortable with all of it and with Evan as well which is fantastic, and she hasn't thought of Marvin at all. Maybe well get lucky and he'll leave her when she gets back from ditching him. Ahh we can only dream. Can't wait to see what happens next :):) |

To know him is to know the good and the bad, the ugly and the beautiful. I hope that Garrett doesn't get sucked into the ugly, even though he has a good moral head on his shoulders. Like Valerie already learned though, you don't have to be the one smoking the joint, just being in the cloud can make you high. Tomorrow morning's not going to be pretty for any of them.. but Evan might just be their little ray of sunshine that will help them wake up... as they chase him down to kill him through the have of living through the party of the night before. I wonder what that Youkai wanted with Evan in the first place, since he was trying to say something about his mate... it sounded more like a threat than a warning that she was getting in trouble... I LOVE THIS CHAPTER!! V is starting to crack! Whatever it is that she realized in that last chapter must be the reason. It's really making me anxious. And as much as I want her to admit it to herself already, I like the pace everything is moving at and want her to take her time. I'm so conflicted...anyways I hope you get well soon. It's been awhile since I last posted a review for you, but I have been following your stories closely since you started writing Chronicles. That was my favorite story of yours to this point, one reason being that it was long. It was so good I didn't want it to end. Now you've given us Purity 9, the longest story by far that you've written. I love it, you've given many different subplots and portrayed them in such amazing detail. Part of me doesn't want the story to end, but I'm also excited about what you'll write next. Please keep up the excellent work, and I will continue to follow your stories. And by the way, you never need to apologize for taking a little extra time to post a chapter. My motto is, take a little extra time to get it right rather than rush to get it done and screw it up because then you'll have to do it over. I hope you're feeling better, and I can wait as long as necessary for the next chapter because I know it will be worth it! And congratulations to your son and best wishes for his college endeavors! |

I've been following your Purity series for quite awhile and this is hands down my favorite yet! The relationship between Evan and Valerie is just so entertaining, and the closer V gets to realizing she can be with Evan the more excited I get. I love seeing my name on the reviewers list. ^_^. Anyway, GGGREEEAT chapter, and I love how Valerie's slowly starting to show her feelings and that was a hot kiss. Also, I hope that Garret doesn't get hurt, or drunk, or on drugs, or some kind of STD...being at such a wack-out party makes me worry for the little teen. I'm kind of mad at Valerie for leading Evan on for so long. I don't think it's right for her to get so close to him and to treat him like that under the "just friends" guise. Also, if he were to interpret her intentions the wrong way again, and given the way she acts around him, I wouldn't be surprised if he did, and she were to blow up and say she had a fiance, whom she doesn't seem the LEAST bit into anymore, it would break Evan's heart! And I'd be sad because this is a VERY good romance. For ONCE I find a female character that has a level head and a fun personality and chemistry with the male character that works and doesn't seem like it's forced on by the author. The way they fall for each other just works and I don't want to see it break apart because of some little misunderstanding. If you ask me, for a lawyer, you'd think Valerie would learn to be clearer with herself, linguistically and emotionally speaking, because it's obvious she needs Evan as much as he needs her. I'm inspired now...I'm going to go write! Till next time! Also, don't know why the review keeps cutting off my writing so sorry for posting this three times. |

Ooooh, I really liked this chapter. It's just so hilarious to me that V is now full-on making out with Evan, and it hasn't occurred to her that her fiancee might not approve of her actions. The time for her revelation is fast approaching, I can feel it!!! |
