okay so that whole little pop can opening glass of ice waiting this was really cute. Did anyone else find that really cute lol, shes falling into routine with him =3 gah I love them together. Sue if for some crazy reason you make her stay with Pinkle I will fer serious cry. "Valerie Denning, esquire" made me laugh lol So I think V should TOTALLY just spend the week at Evan's house, bring an overnight bag xD then she can wake up same time as him, possibly not as early as she would wake up at her own house. !!! then!!!!! they can commute 8DDD and make breakfast together again X33 asdfghjkl;' THEN!THENTHENTHEN!!!!!!! when they spend a month together on his mini tour(cause like i said ITS GONNA HAPPEN!!!!) shes gonna figure out she loves him. Evan is so evil. He knows damn good and well she won't be able to keep up. I wonder how long it will take V is fess up that it's too much for her. Poor girl. She has no idea what she's gotten into.

**sing song** Someone's jealous, someone's jealous (…and it's so obvious). Evan sees it, Bone sees it. Hell, I'm sure even Maddie sees it. Can't wait to see Bugs and Bitches comment on it. But, ah, yes, denial; it's such a warm and comfy cocoon, isn't it? Though, the more I look at V's view of Evan and his life, the good, the bad, the glamorous and the interpersonal, it seems more like a resigned envy, a "he's a train wreck waiting to happen, but such a free, happy, fulfilled and, okay dammit, sexy as hell one, to boot"…ah, but look a little deeper, V; you're starting to see there are layers, now are you brave enough to pull all of them back with an open mind? At this point, I'd say no. meanwhile, Evan's getting his jollies, I'm sure, off of his own personal corporate stalker. I KNEW Evan saw her. And I KNEW he was gonna comment and catch her off guard, but Bone even surprised me. I love seeing her off guard, though. It's, I dunno, cute or something and I'm sure Evan is as content as he is bemused with his constant companion-half a block away or across the restaurant positioned in a dimly lit corner. Oh, this is just too cute. And he's loving every bit of it and, more and more every day, her. *grins knowingly and high Fives Sue** As always, you go, girl!

The more I read this story, the more I believe V's pretty lonely. I can only gather and, conscience pricking and all, subconsciously, she just craved his nearness and the warmth she knew he'd make available to her, without quarter, no strings, because she's getting him. Yeah, she infuriates him and all that; he's Evan. But she's getting the inside scoop of the core of the guy, too. Not just for the practical lockdown she expects him to adhere to but the fact that he's letting her see him. And, between mates, certain facets don't seem likely to be well-hidden. Those little shivers, V…those moments where you can't help but smile, laugh, blush 'cause he's in the general vicinity…**sing song** You wanna kiss him. Yeah, I had a teeny bopper moment there. I'm done. But, Evan seems to borderline violating the mate pact to me, albeit in future tense, with Marvin and V being engaged and all. Makes me wonder what Cain or Sesshy or even InuYasha would have to say about it. But, there I go, going off topic…moving right along. I so want them to give it a go but the whole fiancé thing is there and…yeah… Well, the tension's building so I'm half grinning like and idiot and grimacing for the future. I generally like Marvin but, well, it's not really fitting in all ways, his and V's relationship, is it? It's more like good friends with occasional trips into sexual release and then, it's back to the 50's. V strikes me as a passionate person who either doesn't know it, forgot it, or has a general dislike, a bad memory or string of them, that turns her off of that side of her. Might go back to the whole "don't want to show everyone the blonde bombshell I really am so they'll always take me seriously thing". This was just Kool-Aid smile sweet.

Well, what mischief can Evan get into now that Dieter's been called off for home? Oh, the mind of the restless, reckless and young at heart, big kid Evan can be. Thoughts tick away, I tell ya. Feel ya pain, V…bored, indeed. Still, it was cool learning more about Dieter and how the two hooked up. Their interests do blend together well, though--two artistic souls, gellin'-yet, Dieter strikes me as a calmer less angry version of Evan, IMHO. He may do wild things with Evan occasionally, but I think, in his own way, he helps to center him a bit, especially with him already having found his mate and starting a family. Made me wonder, just for a sec, if Evan was a bit envious. Not in a mean way, but that genral envy/appreciation a friend may get when observing wedded bliss and familial contentment. He's growing up and, coming from a very loving family, if hhe wants to admit it or not-maybe…but, that's wholly conjecture, extrapolation on my part…any, really, not all that applicable. (See, Sue? Told ya I ramble.) But, I'm starting to see, now, that sex may be more of a time killer, a slight means of preoccupation over stimulation for Evan (or, so I gathered in my own odd way of thinking). Well, all mysteries will be revealed, right? Oh, grant me the patience…

Okay, this entire chapter was just …endearing and had me squeezing my backpack like it was my favorite ted-um, pillow, yeah, **hrumphs** that's it, pillow. OMG, it was just too perfect! Evan's giving, nuturing, laid back state with the kids was just too perfect and I'm so glad V got to see it. It's always a blast to see her preconceived notions drain away in light of good old fashioned fact-evidence-sight. The fact that he knew the entire time was just the cutest. And when he called her out and gave her that flower, I was blush CITY. Her first flower! How appropriate that it's from her mate, thought she doesn't grasp that, yet. Heh. Makes me wonder how she'll digest the entire other species/fountain of youth/marking and bonding thing. But, I'm getting ahead of myself, huh? Man, I wanted to see V with her younger siblings while reading this chapter, Sue. I wonder how the reunion, well, if she gets one, will be. But, back to THIS chapter, it was big ol' warm fuzzy and I ADORED it!

i read and i couldn't get the thought out of my head. same as always, actually: WHO SHOT JR???? I KID...REALLY, THIS CHAPTER REINFORCES MY BELIEF THAT EVAN'S COVERING FOR SOMEONE. His peeps have his back but to what avail? I thibk it only weakens his case and prolongs the inevitable. could be wrong. i shall see, Oh, V's inner ramblings tickled me and Bitches?Saints preserve me, she's wild--like maddie, belle and Jillian in one (minus her preferences)--the anti-Gin. imagine those two in a room. well, no, take some of that back. she does have some of Gin's openess minus the general naivete. anyway, this ledt me with more points to ponder. And Bone...he really has Evan's back. I like him more and more, like how I like his manager. good read, this one. oh. P.S., the post, 2 posts down... **adjusts collar** that was for chapter 23, not 21... hell, i'm blind on top of hunting and pecking onr-hand--joy. NEwho, Good one.

All I can say is, out of all the great things I learned about the castle de Zel, undie collection and all, the main thing, nay, I say the foremost thing un my mind id this: Evan said the M word! Okay, I coulda just melted into a puddle of pudding right there! Well, hell, I coulda swooned and expired at all the considerate things he did and the telltale unconscious leanings toward the mate band from bothe V and Evan. And whe she cuddled up to him and all but snuffled the guy in her sleep…okay, anyone? Got a Kleenex? This was surely one of my favorite chapters that remind me that I'm still a chic and I've got the discarded tissues-proverbial and real-to prove it. Well, okay, just one tissue--I'm not wuss! O-okay, dodging lightning her--4 tissues! Ihad a sniffle an--oh, shit **darts out of lightning path. Okay, I'm friggin' oxymoron: a mushy--sometimes--tomboy. Can't help it when i read the chapter like 3 times back to back with a vengence. it was really sweet is all.

Dear God in Heaven, you know how to choke up a sister. Phew! V's just like her persona-the one she show's most of the world in general, is-a crab: hard on the outside to effectively shelter the tender innards. And it's showing up more and more in ever chapter; this one, especially. The fact that, even in her anger, outrage and hurt, she still felt obligated to not only meet Evan on his terms but then, after the fact, when the deed wasn't done, to let the guilt fester till she's convinced she's just a, a…thing to be used for the greater good, no matter the cost for Marvin. The conversation with Madison and later with Evan, not to mention the inner dialogue…makes my forehead wrinkle and my chest tighten ever so slightly in thought. Okay, I said no more rambling. On I go. I, Damn near. CHOKED reading the "how we met" convo between Evan and V. His Granpa Zedekiah, 82 years and strong "…and'll still take a youngin' over my knee if they sass me" comment he made was just friggin awesome-read it like 4 times in a row! I laughed till I bit my tongue! I loved the meeting with the parents, though I knew something was gonaa hit the fan when Cain saw her and I was right. And, OMG, Sue, I've been craving nonexistent Evan sausage for, well, what's today's date? I think I read this chapter a few days after it was posted. Okay, I'll quit. **snort** I loved this chapter because of how many emotions and discoveries and bits of humor and occasional potential fluff you squeezed into it.

A lot of reviews are all like "we love you Evan! Valerie's wrong!" It seems like Valerie used to be just like Evan and Madison too at one point but she changed because there was OBVIOUSLY something wrong with the way she was living her life. Evan's just being a BUTT about it. Even though I like him anyway. It all reminds me of how Ryomaru was with Nezumi. lol Neither one of them is wrong really. Thier both just being kinda dumb, though Evan often steps over the line. My favorite is Bone out of the whole story. He is the least Butt-ish out of the whole story. :3 (sighs) I would so be the Mary Sue to Bone's OC. Lidia

I loved the "there will be NO chi opening!!" lol it made me laugh I have a feeling that during this tour(cause V is definitely gonna cave in and go) V is going to realize, or at least start to realize that she does have feelings for Evan, she probably does now, but she is just in denial. From what I gather she must of had a bad experience with a past man, whom she thought to be similar to Evan, so shes just scared. either way she really has to get rid of that tweeb Marvin. Like... what kind of relationship is that? hes ALWAYS gone and always puts off their wedding(for which im glad cause V has to marry Evan ;-;) gyah! DX
