PS And by 'unknowingly insulted' I do mean the fact that if she'd been just another one of his women, not one he was related to (which Val didn't know), Evan wouldn't have cared what Val said. What I am not doing is excusing the fact that Val didn't respect the boundary of "stop it".

I was glad to see two chapters in one day because that meant I could read with the hope that something might be resolved (what with my angst-meter being off the scale lately). I must admit that I was surprised to see just how quickly it was resolved. That said, I would like to emphasize here that I love your characters (Ryo and Nez the most of course ;D) and your stories before I say what I'm about to say. I think I feel like saying all of this because of the responses written by other reviewers rather than because of what has happened in the story. Here it goes: I just have one big nagging feeling about what has just happened in this one. Evan being really upset about what he did helped me forgive him. I'm still surprised at how Val didn't hold it against him at all. IMO it's kind of abnormal. In the real world, just because you tell someone you'll do anything thing for them does not mean they can demand sexual favors if you say, "no, that's not what I meant". In the real world, if someone said no and then someone coerced them the way Evan did it would be considered assault/rape (if the act was completed, not left hanging like that of course), so I find it hard to believe that as a lawyer she would just say, "Evan was right and I feel really bad about what I said". I'm saying this because I find the response to these past few chapters mildly disturbing on a social commentary level. People are OK with a woman being assaulted b/c after all she did 'give her word', but people aren't OK with a man being unknowingly insulted. I guess I'd just like us to look back objectively and think in real world terms for a sec and see if what we've said is really how we'd feel.

o i forgot to ask u ...i was trying to get a better vision of Evan's persona and what not and i was wondering, if u could imagine how h sounds when he sings who would he sound like? it would really help me to pull the image of him together. lol this time its CELP. mm.org is so funny with these things

i hate cliff hangers. i liked the chapter though and it makes me wonder if maddy has what it takes to make gunnar her mate???? interesting. what will happen when Evan finds out they did the nasty? will he be upset? i doubt it. Maybe, maybe not i cant call that one. cant wait till the next chapter. u know those little spam filters at the bottom of these review pages that we fill out so we can review? lol i get the weirdest ones like GURV or ZIGR lol.

That was awesome! I must say i nearly panicked when there was no chapter yesterday, but everyone's been super busy around our house so I figured, why not in yours too? Anyway, I was just wondering: do you have a favorite Purity story, or do you just enjoy writing them all? Just wondering since I'm writing yet another sequel to one of my stories and I certainly have favorites. Anyway, keep up the awesome work!!!

Whoo-hoo!!! I guess all my worries about Evan and Val never recovering from that horrible night went right out the window!! I've been thinking, I'm having a hard time imagining Evan with short hair and looking "respectable"... know anyone that can pull it off?

Yay! Oh my gosh! I can't believe I got two chapters in one day. I was so excited when I opened my e-mail. So, that was the night Maddy got her some Gunnar. What I wouldn't give to be her that night...:sigh: Anywho, great chapter. I hope she says to meet Gin and Cain. I wonder what Evan has in mind for her. I'm sure it's something crazy. I have a good idea what it might be, but I'll keep that to myself. Again, thanks for the extra chapter. It was awsome!

I knew Cain was the one to bring V out to the cab! I don't think I'll ever get over reading him tell Gin, "One..." Lol! That was just so funny! I really liked how Evan used his youki to get to Valerie, even if she didn't seem to recognize who it was, at least it was familiar to her!

Just to let you know, I've been a fan of yours since the first book. What a messy situation for Val and Evan. This child that is mentioned, could it be Val's... I think it is and it get the feeling that Evan's the daddy (am I really far off?)
