Love how Cain was in desbelief about Marvins last name. Now that was hilarious. I wonder how Evan is going to lead their so called 'relationship'? Well relationship to Evan but Valerie doesnt even know whats going on. This is just a favor. Wonder what Valerie's reaction is going to when she realizes that Evan has been whats the word, oh yes wooing! HAHAHA! Awesome chapter Sue and cant wait for the next one to come out!

I'm sorry Sue. I was only telling you that I felt her complete acceptance was odd, not wrong. The rest of what I said was directed at other reviewers because I read the reviews of others to see other people's reactions. I found some of those reactions disturbing, so please forgive me that I forgot you read those reviews just as I do and that mine would probably offend you. I was careless. It's a testament to the material you write about that you would elicit such discussion on social/cultural issues like sexism.

Wow, not only is Cain observant, but Gin is really guillble! Of course we knew that.. it's just so funny that are so awesome with each other (I still can't believe he decided to "get" her at the charity event!) Man, I'd love a man that could cook! At least Val gets to learn more about Evan as he really is now. Can't wait to see what happens when they discover they were at the same college party... Thanks for the updates Sue!

its not that i dont like valerie. i reserve judgement until the story progresses further. i just respond in kind to how i feel about the characters at the end of each chapter. i like the story which i why i keep reading it. the fact that i feel a certain way about a character at the end of a chapter only makes me more anxious to read the next one and see if my feelings will change. you are a talented writer so you make it easy to feel strongly about an occurrence in the chapters. i hope i didnt offend you. that wasnt my intention. i had hoped that you would feel glad that as a writer your stories inspired such strong reactions in people. i apologize. if you want ill just read and i wont comment afterward.

I ahve to say... Cain may only have been in this chapter for the last three seconds of it, but I loved it. :P Seeing right through Evan, and then... "Don't make her cry again". Damn straight! Well, being Evan, I think he's got his priorities straighter than you'd expect.. Oh, and the other priceless moment... "Dear God... His name is PINKLE?" XD XD XD

Awww...Cain already likes her. Wait until he finds out that she's already tied herself to another man. Pinkle...:snort: And Gin seems to like her well enough. I wonder what they'll do for the rest of the day. Gin and Cain will be gone sooner or later, and he said the whole day. Oh, I can't wait!

Well, at least Evan's treating this situation a bit better after sleeping... a little. Poor Val, his 'usual' attitude is making it harder for her. I'm just wondering how this all will go when Cain and Gin come over and Cain realizes that Val's the girl that he escorted, crying, to the taxi last night... and that Evan's at fault for that. I'm glad to see no one is too upset by what I said, though I won't kid myself into thinking that might not have something to do with the length of my review. I would like to make one more change to what I said, which is instead of 'unknowingly insulted' to simply 'insulted' because I'll acknowledge the fact that a simple stop it from Evan should have been enough to make Val shut up and the fact that an insult is on par with sexual assault for some people just because they like someone better than another person is, I think, the disturbing social commentary part.
