Lol. Evan is forgetting something. While Gin might like Valerie and Valerie might like Gin...Gin also likes "that darling Mr. Pinkle!" Which is why my money is on Marv...sorry Zel :P But I like that he acknowledged V as his mate..even though his youkai didn't really say anything about it(yet). Hope your son's arm gets better! I'll be looking forward to the update when you can manage it, but no rush. :D ~Amber

:dreamy sigh: I love these two. I wish V would ditch Mr. Pinkle already and just give in to Evan. I guess it would be hard to do that, though. I mean, Evan has built himself one of the worst repuations, hasn't he? He's going to have to prove that he means business. I can't wait for the 'I'm youkai' conversation. I love the one with Nez and this one is sure to be even more entertaining. I hope he figures out that he's been with her before, too. And V figures it out, of course. There is so much left to discover, I'm very excited!

Have I told you lately how much I love your writing, style, content, & all. I love your charactor's, and Evan's as naught as they come. Maru's review cracked me up, but she/he didn't go far enough, have the hooker pretend to be a possible sponser, having Marvin for the night would be her price for sponsership, let him know how it feels to be used like that, but I wouldn't want V to catch him, I think V's been hurt enough in her life, Even/Zel is just what she needs to bring laughter & joy back into her life and she is what he needs to bring focus into his, something to give him a purpose beyond sex. I have total sympathy for your son, I've had 3 broken arms in my life (corse, I was WAY younger) and I remember just how frustraing it was to be one handed for a while. Casts are better now, still, poor baby. I was accident prone, I knew all the ER people by first name, according to my mom, so be happy that you didn't wind up with ME for your youngest child, and I hope he feels better soon. Taking some days away writing will give me a chance to relax and re-read this story from the beginning catch the little things I may have missed the first time through. I love the Purity Universe and I'm glad you've chosen to share it with us.

AWWWWW! Evan is melting me almost- almost- as fast as Tanny. Like the sound of his room, BTW... *ecchi* Oh yeah, and... "good genes"? Wait 'till Val hears the truth of it... it's always interesting when they have to explain the whole "I'm-not-human" thing to humans, but somehow, I think Val can handle it. Now, go Evan! !! I hope your son is doing alright! I myself am currently going to physiotherapy to get my leg bending again; I dislocated my knee really bad a month ago and @_@ its blah. I really liked the chapter!! 8DDD Evan finally realizes that V is his mate 88DDDDD!!! I love these two xD they may be one of my favorite couples in the Purity universe. Now to kill off Marvin..... D8! OR! Evan can find out and tell V Marvin has been cheating on her DDDD8!!!!! BETTER YET! Evan can buy Marvin the hooker xD send her anonymously of course xD but still.... lol

Yes, in the midst of all the drama, that's the first thing to come to mind to type (so I have a "peciliar" order of memory...**sheepish grin**). okay, onto the angst, shall we? Oh, I actually shed 3 tears on this chapter. some of the content touched awfully close to home for me and made reading this chapter a long winded experience. I love how Evan was able to strengthen V even a little through his youki. I'm so glad he had her back or she'd have gotten mugged or worse. And Cain...he's very observant and I think he sees something in the ordeal.

First of all, um, BIG whoops. That review for Chapter 19? Yeah, that was for chapter 20. my bad, Sue. REVIEW FOR CHAPTER 19: Ooh, to read Evan stewing over V's comments. He seemed much more hurt than offended and damn if I didn't feel a tug for both parties. Neither V or Evan seem to happy with their love life or lack thereof and the give and take of their previous convo was, to me, pretty revealing. V's jealous...so is Evan, well, incredulously so, most likely. I'm still smarting off that last chapter. Whoo, that was deep! But, i did have at least one good laugh this go round. I can't believe Gin told him to take off his shirt. That was too priceless! And damned if he didn't break the record--take that Bubby, indeed. **fans self**

OMG, Marvin! No you DIDN'T put in a bid for Evan! I both laughed and balked there, Sue. Once again, marv's a bit nerdy, huh? But, that was the LEAST of V's reason's to sigh despondantly. Evan. Is. PISSED. Damn, the wrath of Evan over Gin is NOT to be sneezed at, i was always sure but...well, hell, the cold stoic shoulder was enough to freeze sea water but then "The Barter" (which will now and forever be in my mind "The Barter" with dramatic music in the background). Wow, hurtful things were said. I actually got stuck in the middle having a hard time proceeding. It was like the whole train wreck/apprehension thing I go throuhg with really good angst and when I read on, Sue... Well, my throat got really tight and dry. And you write the cahracters' thoughts so well that, even in the midst of all the angst and all I feel about the scene at the moment, I can't help but get caught up in the whys and because ofs and the if onlys that, honestly, it affects me. made me wonder what his YV was thinking as he went further on with his request to V in that room. That chapter...Sue...you blew my fuckin' MIND! **bows to the Queen of Angst**

Geez, I'm bored FOR V. Oh, Marvin...he's kinda like an excited puppy in reference to his funding and schmoozing, huh? But, at least she made her statement and got his attention. surprise, marvin. you've got a blonde bombshell for a fiance. Too bad you can't seem to grasp the basic feminine need she has to be appreciated at the most basic. don't stare at her like "Whoa...who are YOU?", just, ugh, I don't know, give her a solid 5 minutes of adoration every half hour or so. Marvin...he's...kind of a nerd, isn't he, Sue? And it was so cool how they didn't realize who each other were for the longest time, Evan and V i mean, till they litterally walked into each other. Don't drool, V (and hide it behind your supposed haughtiness--Evan's no dummy).
