I've never gotten what anger Evan holds against Cain. I mean he is his father. No he's not exactly like his parents or brother but there's plenty of cousins who he can identify with. But you'll give us some insite to this won't you sue? Please say yes I'm itching to understand. Grea Chap loved the "family" moment. And even though Evan thinks that Cain doesn't understand him he knew enough to get him to agree to being sold. LOL

Somehow I don't think seeling "Zel Roka" is going to go well... maybe the charity auction is the same fundraiser Val is going to?? *grins* Yeah, a catatrophe waiting to happen... I am a little surprised Gin puts up with Evan's language though - maybe she de-sentized over the years? Love the story Sue - looking forward to more!

I got first name.... stunned... did this mean I was the first out of MM to review...??? that weird because of the different time zones... (Australia) unless I read the last one late at night... Wow, I can't believe Marvin convinced Valerie to drop her prior engagements to go the that black tie event. However, isn't Evan supposed to be escorting Gin to that event or am I reading too much into this?

That's just, wrong. Not only is Marvin incredibly dull, but he's basically using Valerie as an equally dull arm gem. I wished that she would have gone to her sister's graduation instead. But it makes me wonder why she doesn't speak to her family anyway. Keep up the good work, dark

i'm really bothered by valerie. i have a little brother. his name is Seon and he'll be 13 in november and heading to high school soon. he means everything to me. i've left home before when i was 17 but i never forgot to call my brother not once. Never even if i severed ties from all the other people in my family would i drop plans involving my little brother for a man, fiance or not. i know Marvin doesn't know her actual plans, but he's really annoying and i don't like him. Valerie needs to figure out her priorities because family means everything. and the younger ones especially younger siblings need their older siblings. i'm not sure what her back story is yet and i look forward to finding out. But its her little sister's graduation from junior high. that is a very important transitional period i should know because it marked a pivotal moment in my own life. A party is a party to me and it seems to me like Marvin just wants to show her off to people. which is flattering but not a good enough reason to blow off her little sisters graduation even if the girl wasn't going to know that Valerie was there. But on to a lighter more humorous part of my long (and getting longer) review. LOL at Evan and is Posse of eccentric and eclectic people. i think they're all so endearing and reminds me very much of my core group of friends. i love people who are different. but i hope evan doesn't have sex with flamingo (Street talk for flamboyant BIRD) lol. And kudos to maddie for her Youkai STD trash talk. hahahaha that was classic. definitely something i would say to my BF Jorrell. as always love you're writing sue and feel free to flame me for this ridiculously long review. :-D i do it because you're writing is just that good. PHEW ok i'm done.

Nice chapter. I can see that Marvin is one of those guys who hold on to a person, like Valerie, to keep his own self esteem up. Sort of like a leech. If that makes sense. As a result, Valerie is the one who gets her feelings ignored and trampeled on. I hope soon that Valerie discovers she's better off without Marvin. Awesome chapter Sue and cant wait for the next one to come out! See you soon!
