I enjoyed the description of New York, but let me tell you, traffic may be bad there but nothing is compaired to California Traffic with melting ice cream in the trunk. Yeah, this was a nice little chapter, looking into the minds of the "enemies," but I feel sorry for Yumi, getting into everything...I get the feeling she doesn't want to betray either of them...almost anyway, for Aoshi's part. But I didn't get the beginning: what was going on there??? Or maybe I'm just a little confused and all...And before I forget *hug in return*.

Thank you, and yes that was me on "Life at Saitou's Ranch." For all that Kenshin/Kaoru are my first love, I am drawn to Kaoru's alt. pairings (I blame it on RK's obscene wealth of fascinating and attractive men :). I'm so glad my comments were helpful!!! This chapter was interesting, and, I think, Shishio and Yumi are not so OOC in an AU sort of way. Well, perhaps Shishio is less competent and more pathetic, but oh well, writer's prerogative :). This background on the other side of the story will make the ending more interesting - very cool. As always (and more so than usual 'cause I miss my Aoshi and Kay!) - can't wait for more! (I'm sorry, these aren't very good comments, but between writing class and my own fanfic [scary!] my writer's brain is worn out, and apparently that affects reviewing too. Please forgive! You should've seen how excited I got when I found out it had been updated, though - I actually bounced up and down in my chair ^_^;)

Nicely written. So THATS why you were researching Yumi so much. I really like her and Shishio's relationship. This chapter really did add a whole other dynamic to the story. Bad guys hardly ever are inheritly bad, ususally just get in over their heads when greed clouds their mind. I like how Aoshi gives so many ppl second chances, but still I wonder why he 'attacked' Kaoru in the park that night. That sounds rather OOC for him to have done. It worked out well, since he's got a relationship with his victim now...but still. And Kenshin is here now! Of course your Kenshin's are always awesome!

God, that sounded like my first marriage!! Kenshin? kick boxer, lolol (all of a sudden Billy Banks pops into my head; aaaaa). Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! You are an awesome writer. A reader can really get lost in the story. And believe you me whenever the story includes someone as sexy as Aoshi--getting lost in it is a good thing! Love the sex scenes. They have an original touch to them with the dialogue and thoughts that come from the characters. God, having a man like Aoshi! What a lucky girl! I am sure problems will come about- they alway do. But, I wonder where you will take the story now that they found each other and they are happy. Will an ex-girlfriend or boyfriend try to come back to they picture? Will a new interested person come into the picture causing friction? I cannot wait! Please update soon, when you have the time. =)

Okay, so it's been forever since I've read fanfics to begin with ((the start of college sapped all my time.)) But for some reason, I clicked on yours and just couldn't stop reading until I finished chapter 7. It's been ages since a fic has drawn me in like that, and longer still since I've reviewed. This might actually be my second review ever. But I had to leave one to let you know how really spiffy your story is. I absolutely adore te way you have written the characters of Aoshi and Kaoru... not quite typical, but still close enough for me to really love the characters. Plus, you get high points for pulling off a serious "swoon factor". *swoons* And wow, I'm still surprised I just spent the past hour and a half of my day off from school to read a fic when I should be studying for an exam. But it was well worth it!! I sincerely hope you update soon, and I'll definately be keeping an eye out for the next chapter. This story is written extremely well, and I just can't tell you enough how much I loved it!! Just curious... is Kaoru ever going to call him "Aoishi", and is he ever going to call her "Kaoru"? That was the one question tugging at my mind all thru reading the story. Anyways, God bless, and please, please continue!!!! ^___^

Aloha Okaasan!! I was going to review a while ago but I forgot that I had an account on here and they wouldn't let me use my name...and I forgot my pasword!! Anyway, OMG that is so good! I love the whole, I'm a little girl in the city walking by herself BAM!caught and raped, heh more like the god of sex smiled on her. There is so much chemistry btw those two, You could write a huge epic story with this! I can see it now! I love this! I've seen it before and never opened it, Kinda wasn't up to read a long story. But boy was I missing out! Amazing. I felt like I was reading a real book! You're such an amazing author. Really, do you write for a living? if you don't -- you should. I loved it. ops I think I said that too often, but here is comes again: I LOVE IT! Update soon. Wow this is my longest review ever O.o;

I'll come up with a real nick one of these days, promise, I'm just tired of the one I use for everything else. I'm sorry I missed chapter 6! I just moved and it's been crazy. I don't even have home internet yet :( But your story is so good I printed it up and read it on the El home. Your lemon was, as usual, very enjoyable. I love the Aoshi vs. Misao stuff; I always saw them as a better brother and sister or something than a couple, and I like the way she stands up to Aoshi, she could be good for him too. Aoshi is quite the demanding, confident little bugger isn't he? "I know what you want." Heh. I'm hoping that when they actually get around to getting up for the day we'll get a look at Kaoru's room; it could say a lot about where she's from, who she is, what she wants to be, etc. I'm really looking forward to seeing them become a part of each other's lives, Kaoru meeting the Pack, really developing their relationship with each other and with those around them. Oh, so excited! Your lyrical writing style is, as always, a pleasure to read. I'm so glad you decided not to give up on this story!!! As for Aoshi and the rape issues, I liked the way you handled it; if he'd come gushing out with a neat explanation that would've felt very wrong, but instead it was a step forward. Looking forward to more!!!
