I'm loving this story, very possibly more than the others. Just wondering when will these two get it on. The tension is killing me.

O.o? Never, in all the years they've been friends, Ryo has never given Nez a Christmas present? *shakes head* Awwww. *mumbles 'baka' under breath* O.o? Now he suggests that Nez leave her bed behind because, "...it'd be one less thing to have to move," And he thinks that mentioning that he sleeps in the buff was a good idea? Sure, it's putting tempting images in her head but it's also gonna get him thwapped. O.O?! Oh my...the old "you can't -blank- your mate" routine. LMAO!! Has he been coached or does it come instinctively? That arrogant tone sounds so much like InuYasha, I almost expected to hear 'Osuwari' recited. --- Awww, the poor kitty...and poor Nez. I've rescued many kittens over the years, even one that was abandoned the minute he was born. The animal control person told us, "it won't last more than 3 days, at the most"-Well, Zamis not only survived, he thrived...and he was loved. Sometimes what we percieve to be the truth is only what we've been told it should be. And even if the kitten did die, at least someone tried to make a difference. Nez being unable to help the tiny thing, Ryo's callusness over it's fate and the too-busy-to-have-time Veternarian also saying what amounts to, "why bother" left Nez with a strong disappointment...and misplaced guilt. After all that she's been through, it's not surprising how she 'shys' away from certain things. Now thier current situation is completely Ryo's fault and he's still fumbling to find a 'cure'.

This was another great chapter. I loved his "reflex" when she scratched his ears. It was so cute. I think I would have to check out if he really does sleep naked if I was Nez. Just to be sure. Maybe Ryo should consider getting Nez a kitten for Christmas. If he got it when it was really young I think it would learn to like him. So your husband is sick now. Well, men are twice the work of kids. Good Luck and try not to kill him.

Lol what you said about your husband reminded me of my dad. My mom always complains that the worst child was my dad. At times he truly was worse than my sisters and me. I hope you all feel better and I thank you for posting this chapter up even though it must have been a burden for you. Your stories are great and just get better by the day.

ryo kicked like a dog...lol well he IS a dog demon haha...but poor nez n that cat...im luvin the story so far! i hope those two lovas get together soon!!!!! cuz everytime i think they do, sumthing always come up!!! *sigh*....~ur still sick!!! it sounds like the flu is gettin worse and you should be resting!!! well i guess you cant stop doing what you do best now can you...hmm well take medicine and get some rest and as i said before...GET WELL SOON!!!

Listen, I do not want you to update until EVERYONE is better!!!!!!! I swear, if you are updating while you and your family is sick, I will go up there and kick your ass!!!! Right now the only thing YOU need to worry about is a healthy family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and , uh, sorry for acting mad it's just that your family needs to get better first, then you can update. I am sorry about the flu thing happening in your family. Just for some info: my friend got the flu and she got some prescription medicine from the doctor that lessens and shortens the flu symptons (don't know what it is called). But just thought I would mention it if your "big baby" gets too much for you. lol . ******* I truly love this story and I cant wait to see what he gets her for christmas. well stay sane sue and maybe you will need a vacation at a spa for all that you had to put up with this week with the flu. thanks, J

LOL, the doggie reflex w/ear scratching?! She certainly has that to level the playing field. But, to stretch like that--Ryo's in deep, hormonal trouble. Enjoyed the flashback, but waahhh, hope that kitten lived anyway. Thanks for posting--distraction from the idiot that smashed into my car yesterday when they'd not stopped for a stopsign.

This is probably my favorite fan-fic of all time. I love reading Sueric's work because the characters are kept IN CHARACTER, and I think that's is one of the most important things a fan-fic author can do. Not to mention the writing is beautiful! Keep up the great work Sueric! I always look forward to your next chapters!
