*sobbing* That was so SAD!! I hate sad stories, but I always read them. I must be a glutton for punishment. Lol, anyway, I love Purity, the whole series. I can't wait for more of Ryo and Nez's story. They are probably my favorite couple so far. Great job with this, darlin'. -Amanda

I really like this chapter. It was a great view into Nez's past. It really explains a lot about her character. This is one of the ways you make your OCs more than most. You given them a past and motivation instead of just having them exist. Great job. I can't wait to read the next one. I can't wait until Monday's posting.

Well, Sueric...you finally did it, you finally made me cry lol. Sihnzen, there is nothing wrong with a male liking a little romance, it actually gives you a better quality...Sueric, quick question: how does Mrs. Higurashi support Kagome and Souta? Cause I never heard anything of if she works or anything like that. Just curious.

Poor, poor Diedre. How utterly awful. Not only watching her mother die, but to believe deep down that she was at fault is so sad. I be Ryo feels like an ass now for taking advantage of her aversion to blood and for contemplating using it again to get another kiss. He'll never use that again...I can also see him getting quite gung-ho about stopping anyone else from upsetting her that way. At least she finally let it out. Maybe she will be able to discuss her feelings about her mother's death and get a better perspective on it. One can but hope. -- Oh, and Happy Easter to you too! :)

What a lovely tender moment. It was so sad-- the flashback into Nez's childhood. That whole scene-- It played out like an episode of Rescue 911 (If You Remember that show) Wow. very emotional. Very good. Loves it. Well I suppose it's time for me to head to my dad's and see if my brother has destoryed the house yet. (The dad took off on a golfing trip the day after we got back from Mexico and he left the brother the house to himself.. pretty sure he's been having non-stop parties.) More than likely we will be going shopping so he can replace the things that he has broken, haha. Ah, but yes, have a happy easter! --Aitu

Hehe...I love the proverbial bottomless-pit of the Hanyou's stomach. -- Nez is still struggling to reconcile Ryo being underfoot all the time. And she's deluding herself about how much she liked 'sleeping' on him. She makes too much of her habit of putting things out of her mind. Funny thing about trying to forget things...they don't stay forgotten. Eventually she's going to have to deal with her feelings for Ryo because they aren't going to go away. Especially since they were there all along. "Love is the leap that won't be denied." She's spent so long loving him from afar, so to speak, and now that he's skipped the bridge where she might have seen him coming and landed right next to her, she doesn't know what to do. It happened all too fast. His nature makes it easy to accept the thought of 'mate' but she's still unbelieving. "...after being with all those other women, how can he tell me this is any different?" Poor confused darling.

Can I kill the flamers? Can I?! Five minutes and a screwdriver, that's all I ask... Why would someone complain about a Inu/Kag, that's what it's supposed to be... the people with Nar/Kag are the ones who need to roasted... Or the Rin/Nar AHHH! My eyes! That was wrong... Wow...I know just how she feels... Loseing your mother at a young age is devestating...thinking your the cause of it is enough to kill you. I'm glad she made it. Maybe Ryo will help. He'd better. And get those voices in his head checked out, they're smarter than he is. Currently...

::sigh:: Poor Nez...that's so freakin' sad. And this chapter is simply amazing. It explains so much about Nez and why she is the way she is. Poor Nez...I just want to hug her. I can't imagine the horror of seeing a parent die, carrying around misplaced guilt, never even getting to say a proper goodbye. I'm so happy that Ryo managed to avoid any bakaness (well...aside from the doll reaction!) and be there for her. Hmm. I wonder if he'll take her Texas to find her mom's grave...or something similar to help her have closure. Hmmm. ::shakes head:: Poor, poor Nez...

::sniffle, sniffle:: That poor child! No one took the time to explain what happened to her mother, nor was she given the opportunity for closure by attending the funeral. She may have been feeling guilt because her Mom was trying to get her doll down off the roof for her and the added concern that her Mom might be unhappy because everyone let the chicken burn. No wonder Nezumi is so afraid to open herself up emotionally, but Ryo's there for her and they are so lucky to have found each other at such an early age. Beautifully done, Sue! Now I'm off to go have a good cry for Nezumi's pain.

OMG!! Ok I'm crying my eyes out here. Poor Nez I fell so bad for her. Stupid boys, little .... I won't put that in don't what to offen anyone. Wow! That was Intense. I'm sitting here @ work, reading this chapter, & I start crying & my boss walks in! Thanks a lot! He thinks I'm having a breakdown or something, & keeps looking at me with pity. Maybe I can get him to let me go home early! Any how, that was a wonderful chapter as always. Keep up the good work. Thank you for allowing me to read you writing. It brighten my day, and when I'm having a bad day I like to go back and read your earlier stories to get me in a better mood.
