Reviewed By: notzathros On: March 17, 2005 15:43 CST Comment/Review: Thanks for a wonderfully sweet chapter. I love the plot line of this story, the whole idea of the rushed beginning and then trying to build a solid relationship later. Something completely different from the traditional woo and conquer fics yet just as tender and lovely. Thanks so much for a great story!!

Title: Review + question Reviewed By: Jason C On: March 17, 2005 13:32 CST Rating(s):Style of Writing: 9 of 10 Spelling & Grammar: 9 of 10 Originality/Creativity: 10 of 10 Enjoyment Factor: 10 of 10 Overall Rating: 9 of 10 Comment/Review: Great story as always and even greater updates. You are a very talented writer an I hope you will continue to be one for many more years. I just have one question though. Why do you dislike Metamorphosis so much. I mean sure people flamed you quite alot about Kagome doing something like that for her friends. But thats no reason to not like your own story. That story was great. It showed the dedication she had to her friends and how bonded their frendship was. It had a meaning to the story that was... Im at a lose for words here. But it was brilliantly done and you should not have bad feelings to one of your own acts of liteture. Just wanted to say that and I hope it makes you feel better that there are people out there who respect your stories.

I don't which to shake my head over first--poor Kagome discovering, then needing to discourse calmly about Ryo's lil' barbell. And he's *playing* with it, even around her?! Kami!! Inuyasha's repeated comment re: "...must've been dropped on his head when he was born..." was hilarious, and so Yasha when confronting something he'd prefer *really* railing over; is this the tempering influence of working with children as well? ;) Ack, poor Nezumi and Ryo--seemingly so meant to be mates, as much as his parents, yet so many misunderstandings, unwillingness and inability to put their cards on the table...*sigh*. I also enjoyed tremendously the pleasant sense of continuity when Obaan Higurashi spoke with a treed Ryo. Thanks for yet another wonderful experience!

Reviewed By: DarklessVasion [MediaMiner Member] On: March 17, 2005 08:43 CST Comment/Review: Well, now that Ryo isn't trying to shove the idea of their being mated down her throat, maybe he can finally make some positive progress with Nezumi. They are friends after all, good friends. That is, once they both get past their feelings of being stupid over the whole thing. At least their long-time friendship gives them a platform to interact on while they explore the idea of a new level to their relationship. If they had been strangers (it could happen, lol) spending time together would have been harder to arrange. Knowing each other so well, is one of the reasons that Nez is having such a difficult time believing Ryo's sincerity, but maybe that same familiarity will help Ryo in his campaign to win her over. *crossing fingers*

(i think) Thats really sweet, and thoughtful, of course it was suggested by Grandma Higurashi. There is always female sense involved somewhere when a guy does something right. Heh, so far, this is my favorite of all your stories. I love Ryo, an dNezumi, kinda cuz she reminds me of me a little. Kawaii. Update soon!

Title: Ch. 9 Reviewed By: DarklessVasion [MediaMiner Member] On: March 16, 2005 12:54 CST Comment/Review: LMAO - Nez, "Are you nuts?!?" Well honey...you asked for it! *chuckling helplessly* When she tells him to "take it out" and he just smirks while playing with it. He is really enjoying the fact that it's creeping her out...especially since it was her choice in the first place. But his efforts to convince her of his sincerity continue to fall short, and he only has himself to blame. All of those experiences that they share are the very reasons she can't make herself believe him. This time she's on the recieving end of his attentions but she used to be on the other side...standing behind him...hearing him say 'sweet nothings' to a legion of women...women he inevitably forgets, often the very next day. I don't think she believes that he is capable of real, lasting emotion and she doesn't want to reach for something, which experience has shown her, will only be yanked away...leaving her not only alone, but this time without his friendship. I think her fear of ultimately losing him as a friend is keeping her from taking that oh-so-tenuous chance. -- Great chapter.

Title: Chapter 7 Reviewed By: DarklessVasion [MediaMiner Member] On: March 16, 2005 12:20 CST Comment/Review: Hehe, I just love when Kichiro tells Ryo, "I should have killed you before we were born." That goes right along with someone's suggestion that they both should've been drowned at birth! (Toga's idea, I think) I also love how a stray thought led to Nez's careless choice of "body-piercing" as a way for him to show her how serious he is. The little things you remember when you have a lifetime of shared experiences, often surprise not only others but ourselves as well. It's one way we show we care, when you go out and buy that silly hat or gaudy belt buckle because you happened to observe your significant other sighing over it in the store window or in a glossy magazine ad when they thought you weren't looking. The surprise on their face makes it worth the effort. But to use those little observations to torture the baka...hehe...very entertaining. She got him good with that one. -- onward...
