Wonderful author, I hope life has treated you kind and that you are
well. I'm finding this 8 years later but loved it enough to binge,
giving up countless hours of sleep time. It had me on the edge of
my seat and holding back tears multiple times. I'm something of an
artist and this fic has inspired many a doodle I hope one day that
you'll see but if not, please know how much I have adored your
work, style, and creativity.

I know you have very good reasons to be absent, but you're a really
good writer and this fic is a rare piece to find, since it's so
original and captivating. Please try to find the time/strength to
finish it, it deserves to be finished!

Yay! Oh gods I was really worried for a while there. True,
Inuyasha's not out of the woods yet, and he's actually in a good
amount of danger, but he was in more danger in the wild,
especially when I was worried those guys might have just left him
there to die or not. I'd envisioned Inuyasha groggily coming to all
alone, staggering away, and would he make it to Kagome like that?
This way, at least now Ryu's called Kagome, and she can go see him!
Plus, there's the whole rosary, that's hers, and didn't she forever
ago file paperwork that technically he's legally human under her
protection? She never told him, he hadn't wanted her to do it, but
I remember she did it anyway. She could probably just snatch him
out of there, whether he likes it or not. Pull out her trump card
on the shrine and demand he's leaving with her, and from the sound
of things - especially if she paid them a little something extra -
they'd probably let her take him, if the fact of the matter is they
just want to be rid of him. Might take a while, some paperwork to
file, but he can hold on in the meantime...hopefully. I seriously
doubt after all this time you'd just kill him off, ne? So it looks
like maybe, just maybe, we're getting closer to an eventual
happy(ish) ending. Not just for Inuyasha, but for all hanyou! Go
Kagome!

This is my first time reading your story and while I saw it being
updated, I was hesitant to read it because I absolutely hate
getting invested in unfinished stories. If you've ever read
Heart's Landfill by Simonkal of Inuy you know exactly what I
mean (and being a writer myself I know how hard it can be to keep
churning out chapters when you either don't have the same
inspiration or life just gets in the way), but honestly this story
was too good to keep depriving myself and I'm glad I decided to
read it. No matter how long it takes for the next update I'll be
here patiently waiting, thank you for continuing to share your

You're alive! Now the only question that remains is, is
Inuyasha still alive? I guess he should be able to recover,
so long as it's not too near the new moon. Thank the kami - and
Kagome - for his rosary necklace! Thank the kami that one bumpkin
recognized it! Maybe after this close call Inuyasha will
actually try to make his way to Kagome? I can see the argument of
love vs. freedom, but when freedom = running for your life on a
daily basis and love = living comfortably, safe and sound, the
choice becomes a bit more obvious. At least in my book. I must
admit a part of me wishes you'd update this bad boy more
frequently, but I'm just so stoked you're still updating it at all!

Wow it's a new chapter! It feels like it's been forever since an
update. The story still flows nicely and was still a pleasure to
read after all this time. Still immensely curious how everything is
going to go together since we're getting certain parts of the story
in pieces. It promises to be a good journey though. As always I
look forward to reading more. Please please please keep up the good
work and update when you can.
