Good chapter. I was so thrilled to see an update! Once again, your characterization was terrific....and realistic. I really do love when these two are together. But kagoem is battling uphill to get Inuyasha to truly belive that they have a chance. But, not as uphill as she thought. Those letters were a dead giveway to Inuyasha's true feelings. He's just so afraid to trust her....but he definitely has good reasons for that. But, nevertheless, I'm glad she got some reassurance that her feelings are returned...even if she can't tell him about it. But, oh, to be a fly on the wall when he does finally sniff those letters, lol. I can't wait to see what happnes next. Please update as soon as you can.

I loved your story. I am really hoping that you will complete it one day soon, the long chapters and great description are something that pulls me to it. Your characters are exceptional considering the AU setting. And the way you have the races involved into each other is really eye opening to our own society. Keep up the good work! ^_^

My gosh! What an emotional roller-coaster ride this story has been so far! I swear, I want to cry with Kagome, rip down walls with Inuyasha, and strangle them both, lol. You came up with an excellent story, despite this originally being a one-shot. I would never have thought of a 'what-if' AU scenario. Great work. ^_^ I find a lot of mistakes - primarily grammar - and that usually turns me off a story. But your plot and characterizations are so good that I became entralled with this angsty story. I don't hold it against you; sometimes simply rushing through a story can mean lots of mistakes. But what's important is that it's quite enjoyable. With the situations and interactions, this is a great story to read. Thanks for sharing this story with us. ++++++ On a more personal note, I'm sorry for your medical problems. I can't believe you're still thinking of your fans when you have to deal with such things in real life. Although I sympathize - writing is an outlet for me, and if I had serious health problems, I would want to keep writing as well, both for myself and my fans. ;) I look forward to both the next chapter and the conclusion of this story. I remember you said this would be around 8 chapters, then upped it to 15... Now we're on 17. XD I wish you luck and health, Pita.

This story makes me have hope in online written works. It's one of the few gems I can really go out and read over and over again, and still find it entertaining. It's amazing how great your writing is, even with what life has thrown at you. Keep up the good work. Until the next time you update.

This chapter is so sad, Kagome needs a hug. I kind of want to smack Inuyasha right now, but I also can see where he's coming from witch makes it difficult to justify smacking him. I did notice a few errors but nothing that I couldn't figure out, seeing as such things don't really bug me I didn't mind any.

Very glad to see you updated. I hope all is well for you and you're in good health. Loved the update. The emotional ups and downs were like a smack in the face, nicely done there. I'd imagine it quite hard for perpetual optimist that your Kagome is to have come to such a jolting wake up call. She's fiery, but it seems like Inuyasha is starting to wear her down a bit. I wonder if he'll figure it out. Only time will tell, I guess. Thanks again, and be well.
