What a sweet, tender, loving chapter. It was nice to feel the connections between their oddly grouped little family. All of them together, enjoying laughs before the hard times come. Makes me sad. I loved everything about Inuyasha and Kagome's outing. His devotion and love of her and her love and trust of him in return. The riding if the motorcycle was pretty damn sexy. I've only been riding once myself, but it was ..um...pretty hot stuff. Now if Inu was in the front, I'd probably be spazing out. I could really feel Kagomke's pain at the end of the chappie too, she is really bearing a burden so much larger than herself and that of anyone else around her. I can't imagine anything worse than being torn from the one you love (even if he is still "technically" there). Wonderful update as usual, thanks bunches!

Roar! How dare life keep me from this fic...But here I am again. Despite the lack of fluff in this chapter that they so deserve I enjoyed this chapter becuase I think it hit at a few fundamental aspects of the story that you have been working towards-the whole Sessyside story and even a little bit of Inu's background. I felt so awful so kagome during the fight and having to deal with the consequences of her breaking the jewel. It seems like the group as a whole is getting closer though which is both happy and sad consider the shortened time line they are dealing with. Oh and I read that little one shot by that author whose name has escaped me about...about Kagome's birth at the hospital with Inuyasha pacing around. Seems like you have such a great story going here that you could have 7,000 one shots or spin offs just filling in the billions of details. I love that! Thanks much for the update! Hope things are well with you ;)

This is one of my most favorite Inuyasha fanfics! In fact, I like this more than the original series. I love your characterizations. Your Kagome is stronger and kicks so much more ass! I love it! I always check back every week for updates. Your style is distinct and you've been able to create a unique tone for Phoenix Blade. I like it! I always know that it's Phoenix Blade I'm reading and not some other fanfic. I love how your Kagome is so recognizable. Awesome job! I can't complain with your spelling and grammar. Spot on! Your creativity shines here, and I just love what you put out every chapter! I love how you've developed the characters and their relationships with each other. And I like how Kagome's life on the modern side of the well gets more attention than the original, and how Sessaki, Yashita, Shimano and even Kogashu's characters relate with Kagome. I appreciate the emotional depth you bring to this fic. Every chapter is a sheer delight to read! Awesome job! Keep it up! (and hopefully by the end of this fic, Naraku will be completely and utterly dead/sent to hell so I can finally sleep at night!)

Wow... finally, I got to review. Heh heh. I love the original, yet... familiar plot. Kick-ass 'Gome rocks. Poor Yashita, though... it must be hard on him... er... yeah. Hmm, twists and turns, loving them. Your grammar is great, thank god. My eyes are begging for relief from all those poorly written stories... . This is one of the best stories I have ever read.. seriously. Your style is definitely all your own, which is awesome, because it sets you apart. Plus, add to that the fact that your spelling is terrific, and that I am completely in love with this fic, you end up with a fan.. me! I sincerely hope that you update super-fast, because certain people are mad at me for reading through at least seven chapters straight in one night... I sort of kicked other people off the comp. Until then, I will be desperately awaiting your next installment, which will inevitable bring us to the big finale!! I'm shivering, practically, in anticipation! YAY!

Woo, hot dog! I really liked that chapter. I like how you handled the Shiori storyline. It was a nice little sweet spot it seems before they presumably butt heads with Sess. Oh and the scenes with Inuyasha holding Shiori and Shippou were priceless. I have to admit though that this chapter put me into panic mode a little. I'm seriously flippinf out aboout Kagome being knocked back through the well after Inuyasha's comment about spending centuries with her. GODS! I am not looking forward to that chapter because I'm going to be bawling and getting a stomach ache, lol. Ok, well I am tantalized by that ending and can't wait until your next update. I'm such a greedbot since this is the only story (out of many that I keep tabs on) that I actually give a damn about when it's updated. Thanks for the update. Now go get some rest!! ;)

Ohh, an update! Great timing, since I had such a cruddy day at work! I loved it, too, with the interaction between Kagome and Yashita - and now that I think about it, that is an especially sneaky plot device. It is the perfect answer to the problem you get when the main couple in a TV show finally gets married after seasons of sexual tension. Because you know when that happens, suddenly no one is interested anymore. But, LOL, you have YASHITA, which gives you the main couple acting like a couple of rabbits, AND the sexual tension! Very clever. ^_~ Anyway, I can't wait to see some more of those plot twists you seem to be so good at, so keep the chapters coming!

Ooh, I so did love that chapter. FINALLY, a break from all the hellacious combat for some good ol' lovin. I think they were all in desperate need. Gods, I swear I feel so damn bad for Yashita right now. How can that poor man stand cuddling with the love of his life and not even get a decent kiss in? I know I'd wither away and die. I have to say I absolutely LOVED the little "family" scene with Shippou getting small and getting some hug time with his parents. So very cute. It was also nice to see them as a family again despite Shippou being a grown man. I did not, however, enjoy that little comment about hoping Kagome lives. Holy balls, she better because if he and Yashita don't do it I'm going to throw a fit ;) As always it was a wonderful chapter and was definitely a relief from all the hard times. Can't wait until the next update! Cheers!

This is a GREAT story! I'm very impressed that you managed to rework the original Inuyasha plot into something this different without losing the original framework. And even more impressed that I read through the whole thing without getting bored! LOL I have to say that out of all the personality changes you've made to the character, Kagome's mom is my favorite (Inuyasha is a close second, though!) because her bluntness has me rolling with laughter most of the time! I love where she tells Inuyasha what NOT to call her daughter! My favorite line in the story! ^_^ And my favorite plot device is by far the whole Inuyasha/Yashita situation. Because though I've seen Inuyasha reincarnations, or her meeting up with his older self AFTER the fact, I don't think I've ever seen anyone with her hopping between his past self and future self. I love it! You have done such a wonderful job with this story that I can't say enough good things about it, and I eagerly await more updates from you. And I can't wait to see how this whole story ends, but I have a feeling it is going to be a while, hmm? We are only through one year so far...

Damn, but I missed this story. Great chapter too I might add. Im still playing catch-up with everything so it took my like three tries to finish this chapter, lol. And I just love your portrayal of Miroku. He is really right in-character in this. Also loved how you explained things in here that made more sense in here than in the series. Damn, am I dense, lol. Now, I wonder whats gonna happen at the armory with Yash-centric around...:P...Then whats gonna happen with them not around....update when you can.... :D
