It's official. I wasn't sure before, but now I'm positive. You are trying to give me a heart attack. My epitaph shall read: Here Lies Come Hither; Death by Fanfiction. Just so you know, I'm listing one Fenikkusuken P. Ficwriter as the party responsible for paying off my student loans when I compose my will. God - that chapter was phenomenal! Poor Yashita! I am so hoping he gets his happy ending. That was just heartbreaking. What's up with Goro? I'd like to wring his neck till his head pops off. Ohhh, so glad you had Souta clock him a good one. I love that whole family dynamic you cooked up. But I digress... Suffice it to say - it rocked!

This update was sooo worth the wait. I mean, how funny is it that Sesshoumaru is training Kagome just as hard in the past on tenbaryu as he will in the future, when she is a cadet? Who is the old wolf at the end? Ayame's grandfather, right? I guess I will have to wait until next update to know. Oh, by the way. I havn't mentioned it in other reviews, but as I was rereading the story (for the third time) I noticed that I really like the characterization of Shippo. He is evilly mischievous, which one would expect from a kitsune but is not always present in other stories. well, I am rambling too much, so...please update as soon as you can and I really like the way the story is going(except for the whole she might be sacrificed thing, that is a little rough. But it is your genious piece of work, so I have no right to criticize).

I'm not one to review very often, but this story is pulling one out of me. I don't consider myself any kind of authority on what is good, but I know what I like, and I like this story. I have to be in the right frame of mind to read a story that is military based, and I have to say that you are doing a wonderful job. One of my favorite SF writers is David Weber who writes the Honor Harrington series which is all military, future space military, with very little romance. I love the charactorizations you have given the main people. Sess, Kagome, InuYasha, Sango, Miroku, and shippo all feel right. I feel the same about Naraku, Kikyo, and Kagura. I feel so ambevivalent about Kikyo, and Naraku is the perfect bad guy. He has no redeeming qualities at all. That would make him such a fun bad guy to write,and you are doing it so well. I am hoping that you will be able to update soon. I am not looking forward to the seperation of Kagome and the pup, but Yashita has my total sympathy. As you can tell, I am totally absorbed in your story, I can't seem to break it's grip on my imagination. I hope to hear from you soon. May your muse never leave your side. Sutlesarcasm

Ach! Fenik, I apologize for not having reviewed! In this last part, I was wondering why Sesshoumaru was chatting up Kaiede. Oh, good. The fortress will be able to make it through the winter. Yes! Hakimaru is dead! Dead, dead, dead. The battle was fantastic! Ah, man, Saya was a bad guy. Did you really have to kill Ume. *slaps you* Poor Fenik. He never gets to play at full strength. I sure hope that we get to see full power against Naraku and that Fenik gets to kill a lot of enemies. Can't wait for the three swords to do their stuff! I'll bet that Sesshoumaru had to hide his knowledge of Inuyasha's survival in order to keep Inuyasha safe. You know, when Inuyasha was full human at the fortress, you didn't let him piece together that Sesshoumaru had sent him home on the tenbaryu for his night of weakness. Inuyasha would have felt guilty or something. You should have Inuyasha make that connection somewhere because it's really important. I still think that it is awesome that you didn't make Sesshoumaru a part of Inuyasha's expulsion from the fortress. You did that so well. You could actually, let us in on some of Sesshoumaru's history. We've heard it second hand, but it would be more satisfying to hear it told from his perspective. To know exactly what made him who he is. Sesshoumaru is integral to Inuyasha making it to the 21st century. We should probably know whether or not all of his insults toward Inuyasha were a facade or not. What his intents were and why. It would balance things out a bit as well as explain why Sesshoumaru would even bother. Or, you could just leave him a mystery. Can't wait to see if you show us Sesshoumaru setting the youkai community on its head by bringing Inuyasha home after the battle. I would really like to see snatches of time between Kagome being thrown down the well and Inuyasha's trial of waiting for her, important events in between. And, I'm interested in finding out how you plan to blend Kagome's scent with Sesshoumaru's. I love all of your characters, some of whom are: Momiji, the twins, Git, etc. Kagome really impressed the cadets. I'm sure they'll never forget it. I still love where Inuyasha goes all alpha on Kagome at the fortress. That was totally awesome. There are still little questions niggling at the back of my mind. Such as: will the future be changed? Is the emperor a youkai? Eh, it's to early to remember them all. Anywho. Great chapter and looking forward to the next. Can't tell you how many times I've read your fic. ^_^ Snow

I haven't really reviewed for a long time, even though I have been reading. I just took the chance to reread the whole story, beginning to end, which was quite the fun experience. I'm happy that the story will be resolving itself fairly soon. It seems like the perfect length to handle right about now. I also love the sheer complexity of your writing. I can't keep track of so much stuff in my writing. After the last chapter, I was wondering why Sesshomaru didn't use the Tenseiga on any of the dead loyalists, especially Anzu, who was caring for Rin. Just one of those things I was wondering while reading. Excellent job, and I hope to see a new chapter soon.
