Whee! Lots and lots of good stuff here! I love the long chapters even if it means a bit of a wait. I think you are the first person I've seen to make use of the bit of trivia about the court ladies naming their ensembles in a fanfic. Research is good!

With as much as a dragon must, er, produce, it's a good things the fortress is immense! Will we find out what happened at the feast after Kags & Inu left? Very curious as to the aftermath of Hakimaru's nasty behavior. NO pressure, of course - each chapter is like a gigantic potato chip, and it's hard to enjoy just one! Thanks for another great update!!

Absolutely glorious, as usual. I love the way in which you can depict all the neuances of a real relationship, with the good times and the bad, the hot bits as well as the icky ones, without coming over as overly done or losing the 'story' feel to your tale. It's a very difficult thing to do, and you manage beautifully. The scene where she is driven almost to fear of him is marvelously constructed. I can honestly not wait for the next installment.

Ooooh, I hate, hate, hate, Hakimaru. Ooooh, growl. The scene with Inuyasha going all beasty was...hot! Hehehe, Inuyasha howled. I loved it! And I like the fact that Kagome is not going to bathe. Good girl. But, Inuyasha is right. Hakimaru has found a weakness. I hope that Inuyasha and Kagome figure out how to strengthen that weakness. Maybe having her scent-marked will help. There has to be a way. Otherwise, it could go bad, real bad. I wonder where Inuyasha went when he left. That was sad. Can't wait for the big battle! Oh, lest we forget your tedious work on description and events that give the chapter a sense of full body; I loved the comb and Inuyasha's memories of it. The wine flushed girls were cute. Figuring out a way to help Sesshoumaru eat his rice was great. Oh! Git gripping Fenik's 'shaft' a bit too hard was hilarious. Let's not forget Momiji and her better half. That was funny. I'm not sure how to take the women. They haven't really done all that much that is useful to Kagome's plight. And I can't wait for the henchmen to come out of the woodwork. Let me at 'em! There is so much more, but I can't list it all! Thanks for another wonderful chapter! ^_^ Snow

it took me wayyy too long to review this chapter, real life kinda bumped in. it has a habit of doing just that :(. oh well. anyway, i had to say i keep reading this great story, and as it unfolds the mystery of its ending gets me more and more excited every time you post a new chapter. I'm starting to see new ways for you to end this beautiful story, new paths it could take.. and i'm absolutely positive you'll go some place else completely :). Keep up the good work!

Firstly, you get a 1000 on 10. This was a very well-crafted chapter,and I liked the introduction of Inuyasha's anger against Hakimaru. I especially loved the dining scene when both the stubborn brothers actually made good conversation! waiting for Nixie and Fenik to be back...
