I found that part with Sesshoumaru incredibly sad. He's scoring these notes looking for any and all trace of her and when he does...I mean, he's done something so heart-felt for her, and Kagome carelessly writes a couple of jokes with her friends, not knowing the impact she has on him. I understand that she wasn't doing it to be malicious, but I have to wonder if she'll ever realize and truly understand the impact she (unknowingly) had on him. I just thought the picture you painted of Sesshoumaru in this scene was so poignant, so heartbreakingly sad. I appreciate the slow-build up, however, of their current romance, and I appreciate the struggle that Kagome is facing as she tries to make the right decision for all parties involved. I think the story is much more dynamic because she doesn't simply fall into Sesshoumaru's arms and accept the mate bond and accept him. They both have suffered past hurts at the hand of the other (whether they know it or not), and I think that the balance of flash-backs and the present scenes really help to establish both their growing relationship, and eachother. I love how all the characters are developed (Sesshoumaru especially), and think you've done a great job portraying honest friendship (between Kagome and her boys), and developing realistic, believable love between two seemingly different people(Sesshoumaru and Kagome obviously). I think this is a great story, and look forward to reading more whenever you have a chance to update.

Aw, Sesshoumaru wrote such beautiful notes. *sniffle* Kouga really pisses me off though. That was a dirty trick that Inuyasha played on Sesshoumaru. Can't wait to see what is happening in the present; hoping for angst. Heheheh. Thanks for the update! ^_^
