awww I'm so happy to see that V stayed with Evan. And so mad that the way Evan was treated really is want 'the business' does... grrrr.

Man this was a good chapter. I had me in suspense at the beginning and had me all chilled at the end.

Evan's outburst gave me chills. I find him to be such an...anomalous man. He has such intense emotions- One day he's the sexual deviant we know as Zel Roka and the next he's the mystifying, arcane man we know to be Evan Zelig. His character intrigues me to no end. Everything he does is just so... powerful, whether it be emotionally or verbally. It's amazing. And V. I give the girl kudos for sticking around so long, out of her own obligations, not the ones of her firm and job. Even through his outbursts and provocativness. Keep up the breathtaking work! - MSMND

Evan's being awesomely hard on himself, isn't he? Poor guy. Yes, he should control his temper, but he's so worried that he could have hurt V, which would never happen, that he's tied himself in knots. I hope V gets to 'nail their balls to the wall'. She's a smart girl, she'll think of something. Great chapter! :ahem: bonus chapter :ahem: lol

"Shut up, Jeeves. I'm getting thirsty," Another line that just makes it for me xD. And can I just say that I knew, I just KNEW, that Valerie saw Evans eyes turn red! I knew it! xDD Its getting cloooserrrrrr!!! And for a second there I was like "Who the heck is Matthis...?" and it didnt hit me till they really started talking about hospitals and junk xD. The plot is thickening! I cant wait to see it spill over the top of the pot! Sheeyoot! Oh oh, and all that Evan/V banter? Cute as heck. Cant wait to see them as an actual couple! xD Itll be the cutest thing! Wow! First V is crazy jealous (she must see she has feelings for him) and the Evan loses it! I guess that song was NOT supposed to be out! And if Evan was THAT mad - did his consealment slip I wonder? Did V see red eyes and fangs and claws? Will Evan be forced to reveal his heritage? I can't wait to find out! Evan calling Marvin "Mickey Mouse" tickled me something fierce! And I just LOVE it when V beats on him. Am I sadistic? Ah, well... I gotta admit, I didn't see it coming, Evan admitting Jillian was his sister...then again, mates do share things so I guess all his secrets'll come out eventually--okay, most. Evan, the tears of uncontrollable laughter--not helping, dude. LOL! I wonder if Evan has as many mispronunciations of Marvin's name as Cain has bad names for Kichiro...maybe I'll count back on both Purities to find out someday...okay, I'm rambling. LOVED the part were V was oggling Evan (ah, Evan in Hakama--I can die happy, now...). So, then, Evan teases V as usual and she mention's Diet's song...and Evn geeks out! Dude. I kept imagining Sesshoumaru when he was about to transform in that episode where the cats where trying to take over and wondered if that was what Evan was going through in small increments--he is TECHNICALLY hanyou, after all. Another random thought. My last random thought is where V met or saw Jillian before and then I remembered a couple chaps back a flashback of her and a rocker hitting her and for some reason, the fact that a rocker tried to rape Jillian in the past came to mind...could they have met in the same time period? Like I said, random thoughts. Very entertaining chapter with a very good cliffie! **salivating for next chapter**

It seems the best glimpses of Evan V ever gets are when he's vulnerable or distracted--but she's very observant, our Ms. Denning. I had an "Awwwwwah" moment imagining Evna and Gin at various museums in his youth--he's such a cute Mama's Boy. Back to the future, er, present, urm, Chapter 64...I thought it was really sad that as close as I though V and Maddy were, V has so much held back from her--then again, we all have something to keep private in our dealings with others. Rethinking the part about Evan's discussions on parents labeling their kids, I got the impression that it was more what Evan put into place to keep his own self-perceived label in place...just a thought. The touchy-feely moments in the cahppie, lightweight as they were, made me smile. V's a toucher--so cute! Poor Evan...
