aww such a cute ending to the chapter. Kagura's meeting with Inuyasha was really amusing. I'm kind of beginning to dislike Iro though...although he is sorta looking out for Inuyasha. I can't wait to read the next chapter! Keep up the awesome work as always! ^_^

ya know, everytime i get the email saying theres been an update for this story i start singing jukebox hero and have to go look it up on youtube so that i can listen to it... chapter was fantastical! wonder beginning to an otherwise dreary day... thanks for making me a little happier...

Good chapter. Inuyasha was too cute here! It was so sweet what he said about protecting Kagome from himself by trying to stop drinking. But Kagome was absolutely right. Sweet though that was, it wasn't the right reason. I just wonder how long it will take the poor guy to realize that he alone is reason enough to stop abusing his body that way, that he deserves more than just drinking his life away. Since his self-esteem is still so low, it looks like that will take a while. But Kagome is absolutely what he needs. And, whether she knows it or not, it is extremely significant that Inuyasha is now willing to admit that he likes her and wants her around. He has come MILES from where he was in the beginning. Terrific story.

aww I love Inuyasha's reaction and declaration. I was just as confused about Kagome's rejection as Inuyasha at first but then I understood. I like how it can't be that easy, it makes it more realistic. I can't wait to see more adventures with these two! Keep up the awesome work! ^_^

Poor Inu! Maybe this is the beginning of his recovery. I don't think Kagome or or Inu realize how much he's come to depend on her and care for her. I hope Inuyasha isn't too upset that Kagome told Sango about him breaking down like that. I wouldn't think he'd want anyone else to know that happened...it was something personal between him and Kagome but she seems to still be thinking as mostly his nurse and thus reporting his progress to their superiors. I do hope that at least Sango and Miroku will realize just how broken their friend is and show a little more compassion for him. Great chapter!

Another good one. Although the bathroom scene sounded really gross (poor Miroku), Inuyasha was still so adorable here. The part at the end where he wanted Kagoe to come in so he could sleep was so cute! He's like a kid needing his blankie or favorite toy when he goes to bed. :) And it definitely shows something more than friendship, for both he and Kagome. Sango was right when she thought there may be more going on from Kagome's side, too. Excellent chapter. I can't wait for the next!

It sounds as if "Release" is leading up to the curing of Inuyasha. I like that, he has carried misplaced guilt long enough and it is time he was freed from it. I think that if Miroku and Sango knew about the true torment that Inuyasha suffered through they would be more supporting. But I also think that Kagome and her loving heart are the only things that can truly cure Inuyasha.

I was really curious as to how you were going to end the night... I'm glad you had her go to him, but I easily saw it going the other way as well... Him drinking himself to oblivion at home and her worrying all night... It would have make the story longer, significantly, because then we would have had to wait another year to see what would happen (because that day, and more importantly that night needs to be in the story)... But it was definatly good the way you had it flow. Maybe, I don't know... A little fast, but definatly good...

awwww poor Inuyasha. I'm glad he's letting it out, but he's probably not going to remember it, is he? Kagome was really brave and kinda stupid to stand up to him like that but it all worked out in the end. I can't wait to see how he's going to react in the morning. Keep up the awesome work! ^_^

Excellent. This chapter was heartbreaking but very well done. I'm just so glad that Kagome is able to reach Inuyasha. He was hell bent on destroying himself at the begionning. But, maybe, just maybe Kagome has been able to convince him that he is worth saving...or has at least started the process. Great job.
