Wonderful! To me this story has been this year's revelation! I didn't know a thing about InuYasha before and I've become a fan just by reading this! (now trying to catch up with the Rumiko T's work) I mean every word of this.

This Chapter is my absolute favorite chapter ever. descriptive, without much talking and a lot of history going one. Well written and exciting, great job.

This was something I had found years ago on Inuyasha no Uchi, a site that's not operational anymore. Luckily for me, I followed it here where it's remained for years as one of the most memorable fanfics I have ever read. Not many stories that I've read can touch peoples' lives like this one can. The sheer feeling put into it makes it a class of it's own. I loved every minute of it, from the romance to the drama, to just watching as everyone grew up, whether it was physically or mentally. I could ramble on and on about it for a while, but I think I'll just leave it with this: thanks for creating such a wonderfully memorable and well-loved story.

THE MOST COOLEST AWESOMEST AMAZINGEST STORY EVER!!!!!!(haha those aren't real words!^_^) This story is toooo good 4 real words alone. When i first saw this story i saw the summary, and thought "What the hell could that be! it didn't tell me anything about the characters, story plot line, or nothin!" I decided to check it out and it started out pretty cool, no OOC everywhere u look. So i kept reading and tryed to fathom how kagome or anyone could do that and this(making milk like she did and then eating liver Blehk!!). Seeing the characters mature and show real life situations and dealing with real enemies( her mom's attitude and the doctor), her mom acted like a real mom and not the 'go fight demons and, Oh! here's some lunch if u get hungry!^_^' bull#%&^. With kag and inu living forever and it not branching off to sango and miroku, like other stories do. The variety of kids with problems and tragedy, ego issues,and defiant behavior. It was like a book, i just wish it was one so I don't have my mom going, "ARE YOU READING INTERNET PORN?!?!""....thanks for the confidence boost mom...-_-" Over all this story is my top favorite, with only the story '500yrs to wait' under it. Check it out, it's cool. I enjoy your stories and this was the BEST!! Keep it up!! U ROCK!!

I've read this fic about 5 times now, and still I haven't become bored or it. When I have nothing else to read, I reread my fave fics, and this is one of them. I hope you write a sequel, or something, or maybe follow one of the pups lives. You are an amazing author, so write more!

First off, bravo for writing a wonderfully sweet and in-depth story. I followed the advice of other readers and found your writings, and I am very glad that I did! The development of the characters is presented in a believeable fashion. Your knowledge about children and childhood development astounds me. The only thing that bothers me is the occasional use of "jyaki" to describe Inuyasha's demon aura. ex."She felt the familiar tingle of his [Inuyasha's] jyaki fade as he followed her mother." The reason why this bothers me is because "jyaki" 邪気 means noxious or malicious gas. This term was used by Rumiko Takahashi to describe the evil gas employed by Naraku. I don't think this is the correct term to describe Inuyasha's aura, which seems to soothe and calm Kagome. A more appropriate term would be "youki" 妖気, which means strange and unearthly wind. The "you" from youki is the same kanji from "youkai" 妖怪 which is a demon, monster or spirit. In fact, the kanji "you" 妖 means attractive, bewitching or charming. And combined with "ki" 気, meaning spirit or mind, the entire word "youki" 妖気 would have the meaning of bewitching/charming spirit. I apologise for the kanji dissemination, but I have strong feelings about the correct usage of Japanese words.

I've read quite a few fanfictions...and this by FAR was the most wonderful, heartful, beautiful one I have read! It was simply perfect and simple! I cried at the end it was so sweet! The time and thought that you must have put into this story is simply incredible! Your an amazing and creative author/writer! You have a real gift and to top it off, this is the most original and creative story I've read! I was to the point of staying up late and waiting to get home all the time to finish reading this! I'm sad it's over but it was simply perfect! Thank you very much for writing this beautiful fanfiction! Thank You!

i know this story has been done forever, but when i was reading this chapter..actually a few before it when miroku blew up...i was like where is his mate...and then i thought of Ayumi because she knows and then this chapter came along and i was like he he he lol
