Finally after a week or so of reading, sometimes almost pulling all-nighters, I have finished the fic. I absolutely loved it. You had me laughing and crying with the charcters. Many times I would end my reading session with a wet sleeve, but I didn't mind. I can't say I had one favorite chapter, but the epilogue was so touching and a wonderful end. I so loved Yukio, such a wonderful addition to the Inutachi clan. I am looking forward to reading your other fics.

Well well. I'm new to IY fic, but I have to say I may have stumbled into a good place to start. This one's really moving well through characterisation and pace. I'll be looking up your other works when I get done with this one.

Your writing is seriously delightful, i just read this story again for the third or fourth time i think, and it still gets to me. I laughed, I cried, i even clapped and cheered. My family thinks I'm crazy because one second I'm sitting at the computer perfectly fine and the next I'm bawling. (Sorry, I'm really emotional). I hope that everything is going fine in your life because you haven't been signed on in a realy long time. Take good care and thanks again for the beautiful story, it's one of a kind!

I was glad to see a different side of Mrs. Higurashi...rather than the usual overly-sacharine portrayal...and I loved how the doc was judgemental...in real life, there are asshole doctors! Excellent chap!

yup, I got it right! heehee I have three kids myself, so I know a lot about nursing and had already heard of the induced variety. I'm glad to see someone else does too and is actually using it (well, I might add) in an InuKag fic! Good choice to do that, imo!

Hm, I can't help but wonder about the significance of all the water Kag is drinking...could it be the baby's constant attempt at suckling is going to bring on mother's milk? With enough stimulation, that can happen... Good stuff in here! Enjoying the story!

I absolutely loved reading this story. I cried more times than I can count and it was just so full of love, hope and complete family enjoyment. I look forward to see the LO spin offs, hopefully with a lot of Kagome and Inuyasha's children! Eri and Miroku are by far my favorites, so I would love to see their stories. Or maybe even an older Ian, so cute! Anyway, this was an amazing story and I hope you are proud of it!

this was a great story. I love the fact that you made the story completly believable and gave kagome a lifespan to match inuyasha's without making her super kagome. It was very clear in the story that although kagome gained Inuyasha's lifespan and improved her miko abilities not everything was easy or perfect after they mated. I also love how you used real life concepts like induced lactation to make the story more believable. You didnt just say kagome adopted a child and now can breastfeed but in both the authors notes and in the story said why she could breastfeed. although i didnt look at it I was glad to see links to info you used in various parts of the story such as info on japanese castles. this was a great story and you made it very believable.

this is the second time ive read this and i have it saved on my computer for offline reading(and incase it gets deleated) but mainly wanted to say that i always end up laughing hysterically at the end of chapter 34. {as the youkai fertility doctor put it: "The wigglies need a road map and some sex education." When put in a Petri dish with a viable egg, the sperm just wandered around aimlessly, bumping into the egg every now and then but pretty much ignoring it. Kagome likened them to his sword style, "Just keep swinging it around and eventually you'll hit something."} i love that part. keep up the great writing!!!! also keeping an eye out for new chapters of the coyote child.

I have to say that this is likely one of the best Inufics ever written. I would say that you were a pioneer, and made some bold choices. Rich characters and a good twist on the Inu universe. I'm not going to say its the most original vision, because its not. Phoenix Blade wins out on that one, however this fics strength is in its simplicity. Some fics may have a person amazed by its creativity and style, but the characters and basic principles get drowned out. This fic had a good balance. The most impressive thing about it was that you were not afraid to take a story and not try to turn it into something of epic proportions and stakes. Instead you wrote something beautiful, a story that can touch us all by its charming nature and nearly instinctual progression; that of a family. Great job, I have probably only read two or three other fics that have truly captured me in the way this one did. I'm working on my own set of AU's right now for Inufics. This is certainly one I can refer to when I feel down, I remember it doesn't take anything incredible to produce fiction, just a vision and a passion for your story and its characters. Fantastic job. I loved this story. I am so happy I found it to read. I did notice your writing style changed from the first part (before the wish) to the second part. Both was good but the fist part felt more ordred. I hope to read more of your works later today.
