I have read this story, I think three times. It was that good! I just couldn't put it down. I love your writing skills, the way you defined the characters and the whole plot was mind-buggling. *huh...did I say that right?* Anyways...I read in your notes that you have moved on into Naruto fiction. I know it's a bit pushhy of me, but writing of this talent...well..I was wondering if you could right a story on Naruto and Neji. I like Naruto and Sasuke, but there are so many, I wanted to see a really good fic about Neji and Naruto. But I understand if you are not interested. I had hoped, but I'm not pushing my luck. I just love your writing style. and hope to read more in the future. Thanks

...Wow. And so we have come to the End of Freeport. I've been reading this fic for so long now - refreshed the page so many times checking for an update - that it's very strange to finally reach the conclusion. It's been great, and the end was just perfect (pity there wasn't any more hot sex though). Thank you so much for writing this amazing fic, I've enjoyed the ride.

I knew it was worth it to check this story every day! *melting into a pile of goo* Can't believe I'm reading the last words Maldoror will write in the GW kingdom. Not that I don't appreciate Diplomatic Relations. Duo (and your Wufei) will always have a special place in my heart. Really appreciated the vascillating scene with Wufei and the preventers. I didn't know until he looked back at the airlock if he was going to stay in Freeport or not. Though that's what the romantic in me hoped. Very believable job choice for Wufei. Though I would have liked, um, a final, um, physical moment for the fans. Maybe a second epilogue?

I'm sad to see it end, really ^^. I've been reading Freeport for a while when I found in on Gundam Wing Addiction, along with most of your other stuff up there. Your an amazing writer, and Freeport was one of my favs. I'll miss you in the GW fanfiction circles, but maybe I'll hop over and read a few Naruto ones. Ninjas are awesome, after all, lol. To be honest I thought you had given up on the fandom. Has happened to many great writers, after all the GW "fount of inspiration" may be really deep, but it's not infinite. And then out of the blue, to my great surprise, things are back up and running! Wufei triumphed on the field of battle, but now he's going to have to leave Duo behind. Will these guys ever get a chance? I'll wait and wait for the next update, but have no qualms about bribery, or as it's called in the business world, "setting the right incentives". aquononascendetATyahoo.com

Grrrrr, I can't believe it ended there! I want to know what's on that paper! Maldoror, I really, really, REALLY love your stories... really. After neglecting to read Freeport for 11 updates I can honestly say I had one hell of a reading session. I need more... I need a conclusion... and I NEED a HeeroxMako pairing. That would be so sexy. Well maybe that's just a little too farfetched but when the next chapters out, I'll undoubtly be crying again. Kudos Mal, great stuff.

The great thing about this story is that I completely forget that I am reading fiction about a cartoon (yes, ppl that's what anime is). Freeport is a separate world that is more real to me than the actual series. The fight scene is incredible--worth the months of anticipation. And how sweet the underlying conversation Duo and Wufei have with their promises and looks. So is there any way to shorten this 4-5 weeks until the next update? I am good at doing dishes. I can pick up the kids. Drive the in-laws to the airport. Anything to keep you at the cptr to keep working on Freeport! And to put my two cents in on the scribbled message, I'm going with "your fly is down." :-)

FOUR TO FIVE WEEKS? I've waited since November... oh wel i suppose htere's nothing i can do to make you put it out faster... do whatever you feel you have to.... I love it still, and I'm glad Wufei won... the fight scene was flippin awesome.
