This was a beautiful chapter full of mystery and lots of tenderness between hanyou and miko. I must confess, my aged heart was near stopping when I couldn't log into media miner in order to read your chapters yesterday and today. Funny how one looks forward to such things. well, reading the rebirth of the village girl, i was figuring it was Kagura. 'i serve no one...' i think she spewed that out a couple times in presumptious lies. hmm. that would be intresting. poor fluffy. god, fluffy in love. AGH. either that or he got doused with that dust...and boy oh boy would that be some intresting stuff. (to just see into those dreams...sigh....) GREAT stuff and happy holidays!!

Oh, and the plot thickens! Hisadaicho has resurrected Kagura? How does this work? I'm sure you'll explain everything, right? I can't wait! Fantastic!! I'm feeling a bit angsty for Sesshoumaru! This chapter left me in tears. To have kagome's heartbreak so poignantly described was heartbreaking yet wholly realistic, and Inuyasha? Aww ... Just beautiful! Tender and sweet, I'm so glad he was so 'there' for her! =Diane=

On my way out but wanted to stop long enough to let you know how beautiful this chapter was! I know you don't get paid for writing this, and you write your heart out, don't you? The least people can do is review, right? Oh, and another thing! For mediaminer and the new rule that you must be registered to leave a review? Internet Explorer is not a supported mediaminer browser. Netscape or mozilla work awesomely well for logging in, staying logged in, and reviewing! Old Seer is interesting, and perhaps a neccessary outsider's opinion on the matter is what what needed. I love the dynamic, I love how you portrayed it. Fantastic, as always. Great job, and the kiss? Words really cannot describe how wonderful that kiss was. The emotion you put behind things leaves a reader wanting more, in a very nice way. Keep it up! ~Squalleon

This is an absolutely amazing story! I just sat down and read all 39 chapters in a matter of four hours!! whaii~ what is happening to that village girl? What's InuYasha gonna do?? Is the butterfly planning something just like too horrible to describe??? Ahmigods! I can't wait for the next update!! LOVE IT!!

*eyebrows crawl up forehead* Did you just tip your hand a little with one of your arrogant reviewers? Kagome's *not* gonna get pregnant again? Wow. Well, I supose it would've been redundant after she played surrogate. I'm really impressed by your ability to have so many stories that portray a new relationship forming between Inu-Yasha and Kagome. I'm also impressed by how different they all are. How you manage to capture diferent fascets of their bond and yet convey a familar emotion. Oh and by the way, what the hell is Hisadaicho doing to that poor girl? Making her a minion (I love that word...minion heh), evidently, but for what purpose? And the whole "child of illusion" thing...Why do I have a feeling that it doesn't matter who she is or what she looks like? She's just going to be someone else...hmmm....

Just fought with the "not logged in/I am too" gremilin...but I'm smarter! LoL! ----I loved InuYasha and Kagome's playful tussel that ended with a sweet kiss. No matter how many times this happens in your stories, it never seems the same. There is always a special quality, (and Quality is definately the word for your writing) giving the reader abundant WAFF'age. ---Poor InuYasha's self esteem, despite his personal confidence, has always been a problem. One little comment taken the wrong way, and he's in a deep blue funk. It can be funny (for we obssessed fans love any kind of emotion from our tough, bragging doggie-boy) when it happens, but sad for his ego. It's gotta be the ears. They are like swiveling emotion meters. Even when he tries a 'poker face' to hide what he's thinking, the ears are a dead give-away. ---Poor guy; Kagome practially sitting on his chest, holding down his arms with her knees...helpless (*sniker* yeah, right) and 'forcing' her attentions on his irresistable ears...it was just too much for him. "SENSORY OVER-LOAD!!" It HAD to end with kissing. ---You know, the real shocker would be if I DIDN'T like one of your chapters. *wink*

Old Seer. Intriguing! She seems to be able to pin down Kagome's heartache very well. I don't have the sense that she is an ominous presence though Miroku's reaction to her was surprising. He seemed very wary of her, very distrustful. Based on his reaction, I have to wonder what twist you're planning here. Your writing style seems freer in this fic than in the past ones, and it is a wonderful thing to see. Perhaps you're feeling better able to express your style here than in past fics? Nicely done, wonderful chapter. Can't wait for the next! ~Squalleon

Hmm, this old woman is a suspicious little character. Or maybe she's not. But I just kept thinking that she was one of Hisadaicho's creations like those lil' zombie dudes that do her evil deeds. Now I'm curious to see the next chapter even more! LOL

*falls down laughing* Miroku is shameless, isn't he? Naughty, naughty boy! I liked Old Seer, she seemed to have some very good advice for Kagome. She's not secretly evil, is she? Anyway, another great chapter, and I hope Kagome and Inuyasha will get the clue! They are awfully stubborn, aren't they?
