OMG, poor Nez. I've tasted burnt rice before so I can totally sympathize with her. I have to say this chapter was highly amusing with Ryo's cooking, the flashback, and Toga and Sierra's teasing (and of course, the part about Ryo sending Kagura and Kagome that calendar... I can just imagine their reactions). Which BTW, I am thrilled to hear that Sierra's going to have a baby. Anyways I was really hoping that this chapter being posted meant that everyone was feeling better, but reading your AN burst my bubble so I end this review by sending wishes of good health for you and your family. *sends virtual chicken soup with noodles in the shape of InuYasha characters*

Sorry to hear that everybody is sick! Definitely take care of yourself and the kiddos before worrying about posting! But since you did....what a great chapter! I'm constantly amazed at how you can so deftly have me engrossed in the mushy romanticness one second and lmao at the total lunacy the next. Ryo is being SO sweet here. Looks like he's starting to understand how their shared history (and his past behavior) has affected Nez. I just want to cheer him on - that's it...keep doing what you're doing...don't screw it up... LOL By the time I hit the "I want you" line, I was just a little puddle of goo...then *BAM* mood broken! LOL Toga and Sierra are having a baby!!!! Yea!!!! That's really awesome. I was laughing so hard at the repartee - poor Nez...she's definitely in danger of dying from embarassment. And the return of the beefcake!!!!!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! Heh heh heh... I am a little concerned about Nez's thoughts on the "youkai exterminator". Ryo definitely needs to explain his job more fully, but I don't forsee a good reaction when she finds out the truth. Yikes.

He cooks! Well, don't give up your day job Ryo. And he's talking...not much but it's a start. His observations are starting to make Nezumi nervous because they are right on target. It won't be long before he figures out just how blind he was. Even if she tries to deny how long she's loved him, he'll see she's lying. -- Toga almost spilled the beans about Ryo's job and I'm sure Ryo's about to get the third degree after Nez thinks about it more. Hehe, I might have known that Ryo was capable of blackmail. He's been sitting on Toga's beefcake pictures waiting for the worst (or best, depends on your point of view) time to bring them up. -- Congratulations Sierra & Toga!

Woo-hoo; what a riotous chapter!!WTG Nez--you're working your cute posterior off yet Ryo's chewing your human ear off? I don' Think SO!! How authentic-my spouse used to do the same when I'd managed restaraunts. Awwwww, he 'cooked'--that alone should score points!! Ohhh,that Toga just *had* to comment, didn't he?? Congratulations to YOU, Signora Authoressa, on your impending youkai-grandmotherhood! Thanks for the chapter. I admire your dedication. You are far,far braver than me!!! Flu SUCKS. I absolutely LOVE this story. It's such a new way of approaching the becoming mates story line (my favorite story line BTW). I love the whole premise of the passionate initial encounter and then having to re-woo and build trust. Words can not adequately express how much I am enjoying watching this story unfold. Many thanks. Hope everyone feels better soon!!

Belated condolences on the influx of sickies, LOL. I know how you feel. Got two boys myself and a baby on the way. Another great chapter btw. That was a really nice chapter, and all in the comforts of sleep. LOL!!! That was great...Hope your family gets better soon, It's a nasty strain going around and alot of people end up at the doctors or hospitol with it, so take care and see ya when your better....

I hope the "flu" is not too hard on you. You definitely need rest and liquids. Taking care of children is time consuming when they are well, not to mention when they are sick, and you are sick also. I totally sympathize with you, so update when it is most convenient for you. I thought the chapter was great. Wondering when Nezumi will give Ryo more of a chance, and also when something will go Ryo's way. He has his father's luck, doesn't he. Ryo is such an interesting character. This story has really, really piqued my interest, so I will be checking in on a regular basis. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. Cynbad146
