Wow, that was a wonderful story! There was so much time that I could tell that you put into the research and the like...and the plot line, I really haven't come across any other stories like this one. It was so original. I just wanted to ask if you were like a chef or something, cause that is really apparent that it is one of your hobbies, if nothing else. Hope all is well, and I can't wait to read more stories from you in the future!

Great story. I'm ashamed that it took me so long to finish it (I usually knock out 30 to 40 chapter stories in a day), but I've started my next semester and have gotten a new job, so I guess I have an excuse. ~o^ Either way, this fic had a great theme and story line. Though it got a little marbled at times, you stuck with it and now it's done! --And perfect. *gives you a cookie* While I'd been hoping for a bit more of a confrontation with Hobo and Kagome, I guess this one went better with her TGO personality. Again, fantastic job. I hope yo continue writing. I'll definitely be on the lookout for any updates from you. Hope everything's going well on your side of the compy. *wavies* JA MATA~ = D ~Animefreak242 aka Kawaii Girl

AHA! I may have been wrong about Kikyo, but I was SO right about Kagura; to the T, I might add. *proud* Luckily, Sesshomaru was in the mood to share with Kagome and helped put aside her fears. Hazzah~ ^^ As for the beginning of this chapter: Dirty. LMAO I love it. Poor Inu-chan though. Kagome needs to stop being such a prude and get over her little insecurities already. Who knows what kind of long-standing/irreparable damage youkai spring issues could cause? *pets Inuyasha* Maybe that's why Sessho was so open. LOL

On one hand, I feel really bad for Kagome and her inability to understand anything about relationships, but on the other I am completely frustrated with her. She is so childish and uncommunicative. She has to be so demure, right? Then why is she questioning Inuyasha? If she's going to play that role, Kagome needs to just shut up and wait for him to call, taking any answer he gives her as "okay". Not only that, but Kagome only focuses on one thing - the children she "can't have" - as the end of every relationship. If Kagome believes she can't have kids, why is she constantly adding them to any and every equation? She's ridiculous. Not that its entirely her fault. Actually, most of it is her mother's. Not sure if it's because her father died so early on, but Kagome's mother is obsessed with the idea of children (grandchildren or otherwise) and has pushed that idea of having [more] children onto Kagome - the only surviving Higurashi. It's actually pretty sick. To measure a woman on their ability and openness to becoming property and having children is the same as measuring a man on his ability to create those children. I mean, if that's the case, they can just have a few test tube babies made and be done with it. *annoyed and disgusted*

Chapter 18: I think this time for Kagome was a good one. She needed to focus on just herself. On getting her life back together and figuring out what it is that really makes her happy. I'm glad that you gave her something stable and time consuming... Something that could let her be fulfilled without questioning her ability to "be a woman" (at least the fucked up way she sees it). Inuyasha needed this time too. It let him clear his head and find out that it wasn't Spring's fault that he was attracted to Kagome. He really has feelings for her. And I think he has matured. Sesshomaru's just being mean. >.> *pokes him* So sneaky that one. I'm amazed that you managed to fit almost everyone in here. I do have a question though. Rin's in college, right? That's how the majority of the people that work at KenSen got their job, right? Through internship and/or recommendations? Then how old is she? And how old are Inuyasha and Sesshomaru? Just curious... When people say "college age", that can be anywhere from seventeen to thirty.

16: Another great chapter (good title too - multi-purpose). Don't worry, it wasn't short; not for how much information was given. *gives you a cookie* Well... As glad as I am that Kagome and Hojo aren't together anymore, that would never be a way I'd hope it to happen. To have to go through something so painful - because they are painful - and emotionally exhausting/traumatizing (especially since this isn't the first time Kagome's been through this)... It's a horrible feeling. Has to be. *sighs* I'm guessing the "man" was Koga. I mean, who else could it be?? So maybe she went to stay with Koga and Ayame whenever they and the pack live for a while. Relax and get herself organized and rearrange her priorities. That would be helpful, I think. To be in a very family-oriented environment right now can only be helpful. I guess we'll see if Sesshomaru and/or Kaede are/were the one(s) Kagome spoke to/went to see about the contract. I was thinking about that before. You hadn't brought up the contract itself and I was like, "did they sign it"? Hmm.... *continues reading* ~Animefreak242 aka Kawaii Girl

Chapter 15: *kicks Kikyo repeatedly* God Kagome needs to grow a fucking back bone. So Hojo's not sleeping with Kikyo. Whatever. He's still an asshole and Kagome should have said 'no'. Why didn't she say 'no'? *sigh* Well Sango was very successfully and easily integrated with the girls. That's surprising; especially with the evil looks she was receiving when they were all introduced. I do wonder what the four think about this recent turn of events though. They SHOULD be con, but we're weren't told too much about their backgrounds and what they'd think of the possibility of raising a child alone when you have the option of being part of a couple >< People are so judgemental these days. Such a shame... Well, I'm looking forward to this conflict being resolved and Kagome straightening out this mess/mistake she's made. "Dazed"... Kagome probably doesn't even realize what she's done. They say things like this take time to settle and register. Well, here's hoping you've fixed this by the end of chapter seventeen. ~Animefreak242 aka Kawaii Girl

Well, now it's done. She's been implanted. Now we wait. LOL The little "wet" bit with Kagome was funny. Especially since everyone always worries about doing something embarrassing while under anesthesia. Luckily, Inu-chan has so much control over himself. Hojo man... He just... *kicks him* What the hell is wrong with Hobo that he would leave so close to when Kagome was ready? Couldn't he have just dropped her off at home THEN gone back to work? ...Didn't he take the day off? Bah, whatever. Plus side of the Kagura sneak attack: we've found out why Kagura was stalking Inuyasha. A child... Because Sesshomaru (I'm assuming that's the number he forces himself to forget) wouldn't have one with her? Or did she really love Inuyasha? Weird. So, I'm guessing either Inuyasha did the fertilization bit wrong because Kagome was so turned on, something stressful is going to happen, or Kagome herself will just mentally will herself not to get pregnant (I heard that could happen. Women subconsciously want or don't want a man's child and it just doesn't/can't happen). Either way, I'm looking at a nogo for the preggers test.*throws confetti and continues reading* ~Animefreak242 aka Kawaii Girl //I wish MM would allow for paragraph breaks in these stupid reviews. So annoying.//

Koga~ Thank you for portraying him as a normal guy. He is more like a breath of fresh air in this fic. Everyone is so distant and cautious; or forced to be cautious because of their positions. But I think Koga gave Kagome the wake up call she needed. Well, part of it anyway. The dinner with the girls, I think, did the rest. I vote for more Koga-Kagome meetings. As unhealthy as it can be to compare yourself to others, she needs to do it more often. Er, now, I think knows more about Kagome's relationship than Kagome says, if her topic of conversation is anything to go by. Eri is trained to see things. Things that are told through the everyday actions of those she is supposed to study and those societies she must become a art of. I just... Ugh, I wanna shake Kagome. I DO wonder what's in that envelope that Inu delivered though. Guess I'll find out next chappie. *submits and continues* ~Animefreak242 aka Kawaii Girl

Chapter 9: Well that was... It was completely fucked up. Poor Kagome, falling apart at the seams. And Hojo, the little shit, he's being so neglectful and just... wrong. And Sango can't help because Kagome isn't talking, Inuyasha wants to help, but isn't allowed... >< This is frustrating. Here's hoping we get past this bump in the road soon. *le sigh* Ha, at first, I thought the woman that Kagome saw at Inuyasha's office was Yura. I wonder what "mess" Kagura got herself into though. Will Naraku and the others be making an appearance? Is THAT who Hojo works for? Eww... In that case, the clinic shouldn't take funding from Bio-Guchi. SO not worth it. *continues reading* ~Animefreak242 aka Kawaii Girl

For this chapter (the eighth one): That piece of SHIT! Hojo is SO sleeping with Kikyo. I know it. *fumes* He's one of those types. The kind that will find someone like Kagome who is all about self-sacrifice and serving others, even at her own expense, but only for marriage. I mean, it's obvious Hojo is a traditionalist and yet he doesn't think negatively of things that only serve him (i.e. masturbation. A real traditionalist would feel ashamed and not admit to doing it at all - or just refraining from it all together - not feel as if he has to only hide it from Kagome). Kikyo is Kagome's opposite. Where Kagome is demure and takes peoples shit, it's obvious even from her appearance in this chapter (8) that Kikyo is assertive, demanding and is in a position higher than that of Hojo. Kikyo commands him and with the direction his personality is going in this story, he's probably turned on by that kind of thing. DX He's allowed to sleep with Kikyo and be "unconventional" or "modern" (not sure ow to say it) with her because she isn't like Kagome; she isn't the marrying type. That gives him freedom to act as he "can't" with Kagome. Afterall, the poor thing may be frightened away if he breached the subject of sex in a non-missionary position. DX Well, in any case~ I'm loving this story so far. *gives you a cookie* Inuyasha is being his normal self with Kagome, so that's a plus. This friendly relationship thing you have going with Miroku, Sango and Inuyasha is great too. So cute! ^^ Hopefully this will continue to move at a realistic pace and we'll see "our Kagome" with Inuyasha by chapter twenty/twenty-one. ...So, I'm gonna go finish reading... JA MATA~! *wavies* OH! One last thing. In Japanese, there is no visual pluralization. You don't add an 's' onto something to make it numerous (simply because they don't have letters and there is no 's' sound). A priestess would be a miko, just as ten thousand priestesses would be a miko. One hanyou and three hanyou is still, hanyou. Same with ningen. Sorry if that's a but redundant. It's a huge pet peeve of mine... People using lingo/words in another language, but consistently using it incorrectly. May as well just use the English... *cough* ~Animefreak242 aka Kawaii Girl

Comment/Review:
For the last chapter: Great entree and salad interaction. We really got a look into Kagome and Hojo's life as well as how he acts with her in public. Very patronizing. Hojo treats Kagome like a child. He doesn't care about the little things she does that make her happy; as long as she's in "her place". It's sickening. I hate Hojo. >< One thing I have noticed though. When Hojo is in a story and is characterized as a total asswipe, Inuyasha is awesome and adorable and perfect. Why is that? Why does Hojo offset Inuyasha and Inuyasha offset Sesshomaru? Very strange. Review of this chapter (chapter 8) to follow. ~Animefreak242 aka Kawaii Girl
