I almost.. /almost/ passed this up. I wasn't in the mood for a traditionally Inuyasha/Kagome fic. I was looking for a decent crossover, or more ideally, a well written S/K. I haven't felt like reading a fic with inuyasha and Kagome paired together in a long time. Really. I read this on a whim. Or at least, I read the first half of the first chapter on a whim. After that, I'm pretty sure I was completely sucked in. I didn' ever realize I'd clicked to read the next chapter until somewhere around chapter eight, and that was to worry that I'd be watching up to the end soon. I was relieved to note I still had some good chapters to go. XD I would have been so mad if I'd actually missed this. Thank you very much for tossing all the horrible stories I've read lately on their rear, and reminding me that there is such a thing as a well written romance with Inuyasha paired with Kagome. There have been so many awful ones I kept managing to find, (I have a singular talent for finding fifty bad stories for each good.) that I've shied away from an I/K pairing as badly as I normally do a S/R. (Which is very, very badly. XD) It's almost bittersweet to read one that is so incredibly well penned again. And I actually have the urge to read more with like pairings. XD Fabulous, *fabulous* story so far.

Was Mama Higurashi on the phone at the start of the chapter? I was a bit confused on the side line conversation. Spring being the reason Inuyasha has "feelings" for Kagome? Well this is your story and that is possible, but I wouldn't think that because I would think if it just Spring he wouldn't be picky about who he beds. Inuyasha seems like he is picky and it doesn't matter how much his youkai "grows" in the spring. Maybe we need a human night of Inuyasha to see what the human half is really feeling. But that is up to you. I will continue to read even if Kagome stays with dull Hojo and never gets it "doggie style".

Dare it I was hoping for a major break-through. Oh will at least she is questioning her relationship with Hojo. Does she really love him or does she feel safe and comfortable with and too scared to change?

Another great chapter. So far we have seen things from both Kagome and Inuyasha's point of view, it would nice to see what is going through Hojo's mind if you have that in the cards.

Hmmm... I don't think Hojo and Kikyo is having an affair, but it might be that they are similar in their prioritizes, just like Kagome and Inuyasha seem to be. It's clearly, though, that some part of Inuyasha, despite his honour and all, is trying to get closer to Kagome. Otherwise he wouldn't react so violently to her suggestion that they'd remain patient and doctor. It might be the springthing, but I don't think so. I also find it clever how you deliberately neglected to point out wether Inuyasha is the fuck for fuck's sake or possessive kind. One can guess how it's been in the past, considering he's single, but that might just have been how it ended up due to cicumstances. You'll tell us, won't you? Anything you give is welcome! Thanks for updating!

Things are progressing! I know how you feel when you say things are moving too slow but you have so many ideas for things that are gonna happen. I hate the inbetween chapters XD I always want to skip to the great stuff I have planned =p I'm glad Inu and Kagome had some time to talk, now let's hope they don't get too pissy at eachother!

errrr.. whats up with gillster? Im just reading through some of your reviews and that person just stuck out. A lot of people think Kikyo and Hojo are having an affair, and want Inuyasha and Kagome to get down and dirty.. *grins* I think I've had too much coffee to drink and its 4:40 am. and i forgot to mention how thankful i am that you busted out another chapter so quickly. so thank you.

well i cant help naming the children already, i mean come on, this whole story is about Kagome wanting to have a baby, with a plot underline on the defining of relationships mixed with life lessons and sexual innuendos. Seriously, its a truely defined story and the plot fits together quite nicely. *And secretly, i have a name fetish*... This chapter was brilliant as usual, you might wanna go back and fix Saori's name, you're missing an S in front of her name. I dont know if i've mentioned this in any of my reviews, but you have an amazing way of portraying your characters. Mama Higurashi is way in character, I like how you made Kagome strong willed, and I adore Inuyasha's complexitivity. Keep up the good work.

It's not obvious Hojo's having an affair? that dinner scene when he walked out with Kikyo totally reminded me of Mona Lisa Smile. Perhaps it was unintentional or I read to deeply in it. Anyway, thank you for replying to my review. As thanks I'm reviewing this fic again.
