Wow, I remembered to review again, *grin* but how could I not when you thanked me personally for leaving you a review. While I don't know much Japanese, you might want to be careful if you use Sovereignty information. I only say this because I happen to know that "chin" also is one of the many names for male genitalia. Which if you ever saw the South Park episode about chinpokomon makes the episode even funnier. Anyway, I can't help but wonder if after everything is said and done that Daichi will provide Inuyasha's mate with her own set of indestructible clothing. I suppose I shall just have to wait and see. Also after your most recent author's notes I went back and reread the passage in the pervious chapter about the dagger. You really did give almost no detail about it, and yet I have a very clear image in my head of what it looks like (wavy blade, crescent moon shaped quillion, twisted wire wrapped grip). Although I am curious how it is that they plan on getting their brother back. Even if they do somehow manage to either have his blood take over Kagome and completely rewrite her DNA so that she is him, or if they rip out his blood and whatever other essence got in her via the rebirth spell, they still won't get him back since his soul has moved on.

I usually don't read multi-chapter fics when the writting is still in progress, but after reading your other fics, I had to have a read. So far this is one of the best fanfics I have read in a LONG time and I love how you are developing Inuyasha's and Kagome's relationship, some fics I have read take to long and others jump into things too quickly, which makes the characters very out of character, but in this fic, the development is believable for the characters and isn't taking forever either. Poor Inuyasha though, all he wants to do is help Kagome but it looks like he'll become a tour of Japan expert before he can!

Great chapter!!!! I really enjoy this story... Its funny to see how much InuYasha struggles with the change in Kagome. Perhaps using a chan nick name would get the affect you are looking for...Take-chan or ta-chan, depending on how the Kanji of the name is... which is:(don't you just love the internet): From Japanese 武 (take) "military" or 竹 (take) "bamboo" combined with 彦 (hiko) "boy, prince". (http : / / www . behindthename . com / name / takehiko) So Take-Chan would be a good nick name... Or Take-tan Chan Chan (ちゃん, Chan?) is a diminutive suffix. It is an informal version of san used to address children and female family members. It may also be used towards animals, lovers, intimate friends, and people whom one has known since childhood. Chan continues to be used as a term of endearment, especially for girls, into adulthood. Parents often call their daughters chan and their sons kun throughout their lives, though chan can be used towards boys just as easily, in particular if it results in a nickname that is particularly pleasing to the ear; such nicknames often spread outside the family circle during the school years. Adults may use chan as a term of endearment to women with whom they are on close terms. Chan can be considered a feminine mode of speech in that it is used mainly by, or towards, females. Its pattern of usage is similar to using "dear" when addressing someone in English. Males typically do not use chan when addressing other males, except when referring to very young children, and in idiomatic cases like Shuwa-chan (described below). When they do, it implies a particularly close relationship between them, such as long-time friends or business partners. Variations on chan Playful variations of chan include chin (ちん, chin?), tan (たん, tan?), and chama (ちゃま, chama?). Chin and tan are mispronunciations stereotypically attributed to small children and are thus perceived as baby talk, hence their association with cuteness-though "chin" can also be used to give a character a slightly delinquent, psychotic feel-especially if the character speaking is older, and still using it to address people they nominally respect. Tan, on the other hand, is popularly used in the names of moe anthropomorphisms, artistic memes on Japanese imageboards typified by a female character, usually depicted in cosplay, representing a non-human being, inanimate object, concept, or phenomenon, or a popular consumer product. Well-known examples include OS-tan (representing computer operating systems) and Bisuke-tan (representing KFC biscuits). Some of these characters, such as Binchō-tan, are real corporate mascots. Chama, a portmanteau of sorts combining chan and sama, is sometimes used when the character being addressed is young, but still is respected by the speaker. Great chapter! I like how Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship is growing. It's not rushed. I'm glad their not jumping on top of each other like rabits in heat. Lol! I can wait for a lemon. The story comes first. Lol! I used to watch the teenage mutant ninja turtles when I was little. I remember going to see the first movie. ^_^

It occurs to me I have been very lax of late in leaving reviews. I greedily devour whatever your latest posting is then spend days reading or rereading whatever author you have recommended and never seem to remember to come back and review yours. Well if only this once I finally remembered that you too deserve a review, and thank you btw for all the other wonderful stories you have recommended. Now on to Metamorphosis... I love that you are writing a story which while slightly cliche in that Kagome became a hanyou (and don't try to deny it, you know there are tons of those stories out there) is wonderfully unique because not everyone is bouncing off the walls with joy that she became what in Inuyasha's world is not just a freak but an abomination unworthy of being allowed to live. And yet she is discovering there is that wonderfully seductive side to having been granted powers and being unique that in some ways compensates for the knee-jerk reactions people like Kouga and her Grandfather are having to her. I also love that the romance between Inuyasha and Kagome is taking time to develop. Not that I dislike stories where they jump into bed together after the first paragraph, but generally they seem... well I won't say unrealistic since we are talking about fictional characters one of who happens to be part dog demon, but let's just say a slower developing relationship seems more plausible and in character.

glad you're back *\o/* not too fond of battle scenes but this one wasn't too bad. one wonders if her reiki will keep her from transforming to full youkai? or maybe even giving her the edge of keeping her wits about her? ♦ one also wonders about sesshoumaru's reaction to the new hanyou. ♣ great chapter! ♥

I absolutely (sorry if i spelled that wrong. =D) love your fic. It may have the same title and factor of Kagome changing into a hanyou but it is different. And I like it! Update soon! and Merry Christmas and if that offends you Happy Holidays!!!

Comment/Review:
the meeting with kouga was fun to read. kagome was given another taste of what it's like to have people look at a small part of her and judge her by it. and kikyou's epiphany at the end was rewarding. i've never seen her as the vengeful person that she's often made out to be. just confused. i can live without total angst, i guess, just as long as the chapters are as fun to read as they have been.

I see plenty of aprotunity for angst...tons of open angsty doorways...but we've had a little bit already right...I really wouldn't mind whatever you decide. I'm sure the rest will be just as wonderful.
