Ah, so much joy in this chapter--the ribbing over Inuyasha sharing his ramen...the lovely banter between the neffs...the honorable interment of the motorcycle...and the HAUNTED HIBACHI! I nearly killed myself laughing. Lovely chapter, highly entertaining as always, and I liked your translation of Band of Seven as modern-day yakuza toughs.

I don't really like that you had Kagome affirm, if only herself, that Inu Yasha see's her, and not Kikyo... You completely skip a major part of their relationship that way... But I don't know maybe you'll have her wishy-washy and she'll continue to need reaffirming...

I was out of town for the last week, so I got to read two chapters in a row! Whee! :) Great action! Arg, stupid Naraku. Don't touch Kagome! Sha will keel you! The almost kiss was so cute. ^.^ And I am loving the characters of Sha's nephews. They are so fun! Definitely taking after their mother, eh? hee hee

Aw, it was so cute when Buyo begged for attention. Thanks for that little sweetness. Hm, protective custody on the Western grounds would probably be safest for the Higerashi's, but then mama would probably have to be told. I don't like the idea of Kagome lying to her. Then again, mama, Souta, or Granda could be kidnapped and held for trade. Sucks all around. I'm surprised that Sesshoumaru told Inuyasha to do as he liked. It makes me wonder if Kagome isn't right about him. Seriously, he could have chomped and swallowed Inuyasha in his father's tomb and didn't. He just knawed on him a little. LOL Seriously though, I like how you portrayed him. Though Inuyasha seems more mature, you've managed to keep his appearance of childish innocence. It's weird how you can do that. Can't wait to see the Western grounds! I hope there's a tenbaryu! Ooooh, The Band of Seven. I'm glad you used English. Thanks. Jerks. Can't wait for them to die horribible, painful deaths. Hehehe. i can imagine jak dressed as ganguro or gothic lolita making kissy faces at yasha (there's something -wrong about that girl). ♣ he should realize that kagome is a 'good girl' who probably never snuck out of the house to meet friends or hang out-- and compounded with her jii-chan's overprotective nature, she'd never been kissed and wouldn't have been ready so soon after having just met him a few days ago (in spite of her being in her early twenties) her reaction should have been expected understood. ♠ when they take kagome into custody her family may still be targeted for ransom. *shrugs* --just ignore the rantings of the crazy old woman (except when she tells you it was a great chapter). great chapter! ♥

The apolcalypse: Inuyasha shares his ramen! LOL. I really liked how you portrayed "Sesshiro," and his encounter with Buyo. Sha's resentment was literally hanging in the air the whole time, which really brought the scene to life. Ah, the power of making a good impression with your possible future-girlfriend's mother. Yet another outside force pushing them together. The only things pulling them apart seem to come from within. Great chapter!
