Famous last words, eh? I just hope things don't get too out of hand next chapter. Then again, I kind of do, because I know it will be a hell of a read! I liked how you kept the tone of this chapter light and playful at times. Kagome and Sha's situation sucks royally, but as a reader you don't feel too down when Sesshoumaru and Souta are talking about the latter being the former's "liaison officer." It's a good thing Sha and Kagome have a good support system to keep them from sinking into despair and self-pity. Sha especially seems prone to closing himself off from the world, though we see that he is trying. Another fine chapter!

LOL I can't wait to see what mischief they get into next and if they can sort out the Shikon-no-Tama.

I really appreciate you taking the time to explain what is what. The chapter was great and I can just see Inuyasha in a funk because he can't get close to Kagome. That is a new and innovative way of keeping them separate without destroying their relationship by fighting. For both of their sakes I hope a way is found to overcome the jewel's protection and allow them to at truly become spouses. I also find it funny that Rin's reincarnation seems to prefer Souta to Sesshomaru right now. It should make for interesting reading to see how that works out. If you don't include that here in this story, since this is more Kagome and Inuyasha's story, could you put it into a side piece please. I hope to see more of Kagome's grandfather's interactions with the couple. But I do have to say that I am anticipating problems with that chest since Inuyasha did have to make that final line of "...what could go wrong?" I am sure we are about to see what could go wrong in a hilarious episode. I hope that no one makes Inuyasha eat those words, or maybe I do.

I like that you got Naraku out of the way early on, I wish Takahashi had done that. However, I was a little disappointed with this chapter. I find myself frustrated on Kagome's behalf with everyone telling her to be positive and not wallow in self pity or deal with the recent trauma she's had. They want her to be perky and think positively, which, yeah, they don't want to see her sad, but still isn't very realistic on Kagome's part. Maybe she doesn't need to do it where everyone can see her, but I just need to see Kagome wallow, let the dark thoughts cloud her for awhile and DEAL with it. Cause right now she's just repressing. It could be at night while she's sleeping alone in her room, she needs comfort and knows InuYasha is right there on the other side but that she can't get close to him. She could just silently cry. If she is repressing, then let her have a huge Kagome blow up, that would be welcome as well. The girl does have a temper, and I don't imagine people telling her how to feel over and over is making her feel any better. There is nothing cool about people telling you what you are feeling is unnecessary and a burden, which is basically what I feel is going on here.

| Title: I dreamed I read the next chapter and when I woke here it is! Reviewed By: Miss_Marilyn69 [MediaMiner Member] On: October 23, 2009 00:57 EDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: :( *sigh* If I were Kagome I'd be sitting in a dark room wallowing in little self pity party. Inuyasha seems to be having one for sure. But I'm sure you'll have her be the strong chick, which is good cause who likes a weepy girl anyway. I hope that it doesn't take to long to figure it out. I'm looking forward to Inuyasha eating his words next chapter. That poor shrine, how many times is Sesshiro going to have to rebuild it If Inuyasha brakes it again I'd (if I were sesshiro) would make Inuyasha fix it by himself.

Oh no. What is Inuyasha going to get them into this time? I really like the brotherly fashion in which Sesshoumaru is treating Kagome. *snicker* I can't forget that he walks around nekkid! LOL Can't wait to see what he does with his appearance. That was a mellow, but interesting chapter. Kind of sad. Hm, it was Kyo and 'Yuki', not 'Yuri'. *snicker* Got f/f on the mind, have you? Thanks for the wonderful explanations. I never would have known otherwise. Wish I had something like that to keep me warm in the winter. Thanks for posting another chapter! ^_^

And miss all the drama and the satisfaction of Naraku's destruction? In the end, it wasn't nearly as bad as I first feared, for which I'm glad. It would have been interesting to see how the jewel and Kagome would have reacted had Naraku taken her innocence, but it would have been simply awful to read. The jewel's reactions to Sha and Tenmaru provide an unexpected complication, and a nice way to wind the story down. I'm curious to see how Kagome will overcome the jewel and Kikyou's mistrust of Sha. Good climax for the story (at least, I think this chapter was the climax).

I have a suspicions that it is also to do with Kikyo'#s negative emotions towards Inuyasha.

(I wasn't ready for this story to end!) That's gotta be so hard for Kagome, battling with emotions she can feel, yet knowing they are not her own. Except, in a way, they are still a part of her, those negative emotions, even more so than being within the jewel, because they are Kikyou's emotions, and while Kagome is wholly her own person, Kikyou is still a part of her deep down inside. Too bad she can't just go back into the jewel to face Kikyou in "person" and tell her to knock that crap off! I'm really at a loss here, but something tells me that the jewel won't eventually start calming down on its own, like slowly training a wild horse. Kagome will have to remember Midoriko's words, and figure out what the "right wish" is. (Even though I'm pretty sure we all know what the right wish is, if you're going to take the manga's lead on that one.) Whatever you decide to do, and however you decide to do it, I know it'll be fabulous, and I'll be with you every step of the way!
| Reviewed By: kokoronagomu [MediaMiner Member] On: September 26, 2009 19:47 EDT Comment/Review: yes, you fried him! kikyou did tell her that he couldn't be trusted... one wonders how she is going to quell the fear of white haired hanyou/youkai that kikyou has instilled into the jewel and what 'the right wish' will be (since that may be the only way she can live with her husband). &clubs. a rather exciting battle-- i thought the question about whether the rug matched the curtains was cute. *chuckles* ♥

Comment/Review: great update... seems that the battle with narakage was quite difficult for kagome and the others... looks like they were able to defeat him though... narakage is dead right?... but now they're having problems with the shikon jewel... why - what's wrong?... what's next... update when you can... please and thank you!
| Reviewed By: Ivellios [MediaMiner Member] On: September 26, 2009 00:33 EDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: I don't think it is Naraku's doing that is screwing up Inuyasha's and Kagome's relationship. It is Kikyo, or the memories/soul of Kikyo that is inside the jewel. Obviously, she hasn't gotten over what happened, blames Inuyasha and his kin. So I guess Kagome needs to go inside the Jewel, and smack some sense into it and its inhabitants. Well thanks for updating and I hope you are having a nice fall. Sincerely, Zach
