Reviewed By: wj On: March 27, 2004 11:43 PST Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Terri, I completely agree with your view of Inuyasha's character. I think the manga brings out his caring side much better than the anime and the Viz translations are not always true to the original Japanese versions (both manga and anime). I love your story and I think you are staying very true to Inuyasha's and Kagome's characters. Kagome thinks alot about her and Inuyasha's feelings for each other and is often analytical and self reflective concerning her and Inuyasha's relationship. Inuyasha often acts before he thinks but his first reaction is always to protect those he cares about, even Kikyou. He does not consciously think about how it will hurt Kagome when he helps Kikyou and Kagome understands this. Kagome sees through his rough exterior and knows what a caring and loyal individual he is on the inside, and I think she would be appalled if Inuyasha suddenly stopped caring for Kikyou. I think fans who do not follow the manga and have not viewed the anime subs, especially those who only know Inuyasha from the Cartoon Network episodes, are missing a very large part of the real Inuyasha story. They don't have enough information to understand the depth of the characters and cannot understand that your story actually depicts those characters very well. Please continue on with your story and know that us rabid, I've-watched-up-to-episode-141, I-buy-Inuyasha-doujinshi-on-eBay, I-own-the-manga-in-Japanese-and-match-the-pics-to-the-dialogue-on-Chris-Rij k's-site, I-belong-to-Inuyasha-listservs, overly obsessive fans think you are doing a great job and we thank you. On with the fluff!

And as for the story being OOC so what? I have read tons of stories that were OOC and were still good. And sadly I am one of the poor souls that can only watch the dubbed versions of inuyash :.(. But it doesen't mean I don't like a twist. Were did you get the rest of the eppisods from??? I'm tired of tv.

So, whatever OOC-ness other's see is just their own thinkin'. You have my support! (Not that it matters... =_=)

But that does not mean that people cannot voice their opinions. At times I do wonder what Inuyasha would do if he were placed in this situation and damn you nailed it well. He is as protective of Yukio as he is Kagome. I do not know so much about his background, only the basics so the Sesshomaru thing and having to rummage for food was sorta new... I guess he could be that awe-struck about Kagome breast feeding him... But overall I think this is an excellent story! I was hoping it was a chapter you posted but my hopes fell when I read the title. Oh well you can't have everything!

Ha, I wonder how many people will go and look up all of your "references". I only watch the Japanese version myself but would love to read the manga. I just can't find it around here, so I stick to importing the anime. Well, I hope the next chappie is out soon, I can hardly wait! Later. ^_^

Title: OOC & Inuyasha Reviewed By: DelKaidin(NLI) On: March 26, 2004 18:50 PST Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Ok, first... I'm one of those poor saps that has only seen the released in the US eps. HOWEVER even in those 52 eps, if you take the time to analyze the characters based on more than a superficial level, you will see the depth and nobility of Inuyasha. Is it so far fetched to think that he is literate? No, the only childhood scene of his we have seen, in the 52 eps US released, he is in a Japanese noble house. His mother is obviously of some importance. As her son, she would give him some basic teaching. His intelligence is brought to light when Sesshomaru makes a comment about the Wind Scar, until that moment he didn't know to look for it. Within seconds he found it and used it. As for your viewpoint on Inuyasha, it agrees with mine 100%.

Reviewed By: Lil'Inu [MediaMiner Member] On: March 26, 2004 02:19 PST Comment/Review: i most deffinatelly think this is one of my favorit chapters... well at least the last part. i'm so glad that Ayumi is cool with the whole hanyou and baby thing. i think that has to do in part that my best friend is actually names Ayumi. ^_^ i feel so special for some reason. at least now it will be easier for Kag and her to hang out when Kag comes home for the tests. yay! happy ending to a very ffrustrating beginning. i was about ready to smash my computer that dr. mad me so mad! grr! the nerve of that woman! i am no good when it come to dealing with people who anger me. i tend to say the wrong thing and provolk an attack, get toung tied and just make a lot of angry frustrated sounds, or not say anything at all and beat them into a bloody pulp. and that is why i comend you and idolize you for being able to write such a magnifasent story. you always manage to deal with bad siduations in the best of ways. i could never in a million years think of some of the things you have. i can't wait to read more! up date soon and keep up the good work!!

I loved it as usual! I really hope that doctor just gives up, but thats not likely. I also wonder how the confrontation with Kikyo will be like? i hope you write more soon, I think your doing a wonderful job, and I just love how Kagome is learning to speak Inu-youkai so she can talk to her son. Is her friend going to be around more now that she knows? I think it would be good for Kagome to have someone who's not her family to talk to about her 'other' life. well, again write more soon. I'll be waiting! Later. ^_^
