First anarchism, then chaosim, barbarism, sozialism, comunisim, he,hehehe, he kind of ran out of options then, right? mmuuhaha, why not call it Freeportism? It seems to work, after all. Though leaving me with this cliffhanger isn't nice.
| Title: Chapter 8 Reviewed By: Ice-is Blue [MediaMiner Member] On: December 19, 2004 12:27 CST Comment/Review: :D The pacing's great. The questions didn't turn into an info-dump and, cripes, the thing with Wufei massaging Duo's shoulders because he wasn't paying attention (or perhaps because he was).... ROTFL! The romantic pacing is a bit on the slow side, but there's been a tidbit or two in every chapter and I'm of the school that the guys don't have to be boinking in every chapter for it to be romantic. So I'm cool with you gently weaving the romance in. Besides. The slow romantic pace is in line with Wufei's and Duo's characters... they're both on a mission and it's simply not going to be 'Whee! Let's hop into bed!' Political intrigue novels usually make my head hurt, but this isn't one of them. You're dealing with an entire social structure (rather than a few scheming politicians) and are doing a marvellous job. As I said before, loved the massage, liked the way Duo was pleasantly surprised at Wufei's helping to change the light, and I am most definitely looking forward to the next chapter to see how our heroes escape the predicament they're currently in.

Sigh, I can't help it. It is my favourite. And it is hell to wait for updates.

I wake up every Sunday and immediately race off to check my email. I can't believe we're up to chapter seven already, doesn't seem like it at all. To me, it seems like only last week I was checking my email and found out that you'd started a new story, but nope, it's been seven weeks. Seven long, agonsing weeks of waiting for new chapters to come out, but you know what I say, the wait's all worth it. I loved this chapter, my favourite part was --He was busy yawning.-- Cute. Anyway, fantastic work!

| Reviewed By: DirtyD On: December 04, 2004 14:59 CST Comment/Review: Thanks for answering my questions (vaguely). It seems every chapter I have something new to ask, well not this chapter, I'm good. This story seems to have taken a life of its own. Not really G-Wing, not really AU. Original, engrossing, phenomenal. I notice most of my reviews seem to sound almost like... brown nosing? Probably a little, but I really enjoy your stories. You do it so well what's not to praise?

But Duo isn't much better is he?
| Title: Excellent Reviewed By: Vox Dei On: November 30, 2004 21:24 CST Comment/Review: I am really enjoying this story so far. Your unique characterization and fluff-free style is as original and refreshing as it was in your other works, and the whole Freeport world comes across as both realistic and novel. And it goes without saying (but I'll say it nonetheless) that your great attention to every detail adds a level of completeness and narrative wealth. Also props on the nuances that I feel will shape the story- such as Duo's and Wufei's physical scars. So there is clearly a history between Heero and Duo that goes beyond mission-work: will you torture us by drip-feeding us hints? Or how about Duo's personal life at Freeport? He mocks Wufei, but it seems Duo's been unable to remove his mask (other than with Heero, maybe). Thanks for sharing this with the rest of us, and keep up the good work!

Not once, but twice that voyuer Wufei walked in the bathroom without knocking. You think he would've learned the first time. That was hotness though. The scene with Pot-belly. Almost like Wufei's a fierce tamed animal that attacks on command, pretty cool. What I'm curious to see is how Heero and Wufei both interact, their relationship sounds intriguing, is it like in The Arrangement minus the sex? One more thing, what exactly is Trowa's job in Preventers? Is he a big cheese or something? It sounds like Wufei answers to him. Really wonderful story, and thanks for answering even my silliest of questions. Their age was in the first chapter, oy!

I really, really adore your writing!!! Like, so much!!! *** Ha, ha, Wufei has such a suspicous mind, I'm sure the two helpful thugs didn't shake the old man down afterwards. *** Me like how Duo's impressed by Wufei, oh yeah, just you reassess our Wu-bear, Du-baby. *** And now you've made me very, very curious about the 'highlights' of Wufei's career. I hope we will find out what they were eventually and also all that other stuff, all of the hints you're dropping about Wufei and his work and his past is enough to make me want to grind my teeth in frustration! In a good way of course... *** Sigh, I wish I had a time turner, then I'd give you one. Cheers!

I hope you keep up the good quality work. As for the chapter sizes, please don't think you have to shorten them at the expense of quality! I personally thin it's a treat to read a good long chapter of quality story line, that has a satisfactory ending; rather than a half page that cuts off abruptly. Your story is interesting, so you can get away with the long chapters! Over all good job, keep it up!
| Reviewed By: Momma Cat DD On: November 20, 2004 19:25 CST Comment/Review: Making chapters smaller?! I like them the way they are! Don't strain yourself on our account, the bigger the better! Anyhow, you love to torture the little people don't you? While your detail is fantastic and interesting, these first chapters have been like walkling 4 miles and still not even at the base of the mountain, you understand me? Its not even about the WufeixDuo lovey doveyness (though it is partially). It's about whatthefrickisgoingtohappen! It's the anticipation of whats going to happen. I have this foreboding feeling that your hinting that Wufei is going to mess up big. What is it? Tell me! Ummm, fabulous chapter otherwise, how old are the pilots now again?
| Reviewed By: Pixie Smith (nsi) On: November 19, 2004 20:12 CST Comment/Review: Another lovely chapter. Wufei's reaction is just priceless, especially at the "candy" cart. And all Wufei's staring contests, tee, hee, hee, I just cracked up when I read //The kid turned the same point-blank stare on Wufei, who felt his eyes begin to water.// That line's totally priceless. I totally can't wait for the next chapter. Oh, and about your chapters being too long, I say the longer the better!!!
