The story progresses rather slowly filled with uninteresting flash backs. After one rather bland scene takes place, the author forces us to sit thought that exact same scene again but from another characters point of view. It is rather irratating to read, and would be a lot more effective and interesting if the author would touch on every characters emotions about a particular situation in one scene and not drag it out and repeat everything constantly over mutliple scenes. I hope the author can take constructive criticism without offence to better their writing style because it does show potential. Just read other fics or novels, and you will see that writers do not repeat every event over and over again just to show the reader the emotions of each character. They do it once, in one scene, to avoid repition and keep the interest of the reader. All in all, this story would have potential if more events happened rather then the author focusing on elaborating on each charaters emotions to the point of boredom.

The reactions of Inuyasha's pack to Rin's very accurate report of what happened earlier to the Inu brothers is just priceless. LOL Nobody has a clue as to what went on even though Rin gave them all the facts. Gotta love it! And then Myouga drops in to further muddy the mental picture that they're all struggling with. The only thing missing now is Kouga howling on the steps, looking for 'his woman'. Any more hints on the wicked demon that is headed to the west? Will Kagome get a taste of her own medicine, i.e. beads on her neck courtesy of Sturaki with the command 'Silence!'? Looking forward to your next chapter.

I'm glad you've finally gotten around to updating. There's nothing Myouga can do about Inuyasha, right? I mean, Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru still have to get mated, right? I hope so.

And so another week ends at the palace. How close to the new moon phase is Inuyasha? Which then brings up another thought; because he's turned human then, would he be able to just yank that rosary off? That would certainly be a lot less painful than getting himself 'purified' by Kagome. Or, will his new power let him remove it with out her 'help'? And as for Kagome, I hope that Sturaki either slips a sleeping potion to her or just plain puts a spell on her so she can't say or do anything. She can be such an annoying little twit!! I really enjoyed the exchange with the healers and Inuyasha; so typical and so funny. Nice job!

I enjoyed the fashion in which Sesshoumaru treated Inuyasha. It was so tender. I'm hoping that he attempts to be more kind toward his mate. I was kind of disappointed that Inuyasha didn't learn just how much Sesshoumaru had risked for him and what his reaction would be. I guess that will come later on. Those two coming to an understanding before Inuyasha meets his pack would help Inuyasha tremendously. However, that would cut back on the opportunity for suspense. I also wonder how Sesshoumaru will react to the group being there. That will be very interesting.

I'm always a fan of anyone who presents Inuyasha as an intelligent being (instead of the mindless oaf that so many seem to portray him as) who is much more in tune with nature than many of those around him. I do feel sorry for them, however. Building a relationship is hard even when there is no history between the pair--building a relationship when your whole history is based on hatred seems nigh impossible, especially with one Lord Sesshomaru who thinks he is perfect, but you've handled their problems well. I do like how Sesshomaru seems to be more understanding of his brother and his problems, and I'm hoping this new awareness will translate into a greater understanding between the two in the real world. My one problem is that the story seems to drag at times with the redundancy of the viewpoints, and I do sometimes have the feeling that you take a long time to get to the point of the chapter, but those are minor concerns. Overall, I love this story and I am eagerly awaiting the next update. Great job!

Reviewed By: Bibi11 [MediaMiner Member] On: June 04, 2006 06:26 PDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Who knew that lack of sleep on Sesshomaru's part was the answer! LOL It was a great solution to prevent him from over analyzing the situation to death. And he still doesn't get it; that Inuyasha loves him. Poor Inuyasha is crying because he thinks that Sesshoumaru doesn't love him (and still demonstrating by the use of tears that he is indeed the 'bitch' half of this pairing). And to balance it off, Sesshoumaru feels sad that possibly his mate doesn't love him. Is a declaration of love or at least feelings come next? I enjoyed the ending; Sesshoumaru smiled! That was a surprise! LOL And it didn't scare Inuyasha!! I say it's a step in the right direction for their future. Will we get to find out why Inuyasha didn't have the need to eat while he was unconscious? Thanks for a another great chapter.

I feel InuYasha, his brother and pack are portrayed in a realisic way. I really enjoyed the writing style which shows the same event from different POV without being too repetative. I hope InuYasha learns to be a good Sub because we all know the subordinate holds all the power;) Very Impressive story writing! Keep up the good writing.
| Reviewed By: Snowfall [MediaMiner Member] On: May 28, 2006 15:26 PDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: I read back through your fic and tried to see things from Sesshoumaru's perspective. He knew that he was continually drawn to Inuyasha. And after the trip to Bokuseno, it seemed that perhaps he really did want to find out if Inuyasha was his mate. Although, expecting that he wasn't and not certain that he liked the idea, once he made the decision, he was fully intent on his purpose. He didn't seem to have any real plans to throw Inuyasha out, at least not while mating season was in full swing. Later was questionable. Regardless, his youki seems to be gaining more ground and in the process, Sesshoumaru appears to have developed feelings for Inuyasha. The problem now is that Sesshoumaru is insecure that Inuyasha truly wants him as a mate. I felt really sorry for Sesshoumaru when he recognized that Inuyasha's words were hurting him. BTW, I nearly cried when you had Inuyasha crying in his head. I probably would have had you focused on it a couple of more sentences. Anyway, I'm starting to see that Sesshoumaru is becoming more fond of Inuyasha without his youki's prompting. I'm glad that Sesshoumaru now also sees how his specific behaviors affect Inuyasha. It was really hard to see things from Sesshoumaru's perspective. I don't know why though. Perhaps it is because all sides of Inuyasha are colored with emotion and overreaction. I am really interested to see how the two respond to each other once they wake up; particularly Sesshoumaru. I found his behavior toward Inuyasha when the healer came in to be very touching. And OMG! I forgot that Inuyasha's pack is there. Those subjugation beads feed off of Inuyasha's youki. What if Kagome 'sits' him? Will it be life threatening? Ooooh, Sesshoumaru would go into a rage if he were not trying to save his mate. I can't wait to see how that one works out. Excited to see the next chapter! Snow PS. Hope this makes up for any chapter reviews that I missed.

You updated, you updated! *lets go* I'm okay now, but I want more, I know I'm demanding, but there are so few stories out there with these two that they actually have to work to make the mating work. Most stories are all like they go into heat, the fuck, and they're happy. How lame is that?! I'm all for some angst, but most comes from out side of the mating, not very many stories focus on the angst of these two mating. I mean, come on, they've only been at each others throats for centuries, that shouldn't just suddenly stop as soon as they mate, right? I mean they have to learn a whole new way of dealing with each other or they both die, and that's not high on either ones list. So having you write a story where most of the angst is comming from these two in the begining is awsome, and that's why I love it! So please forgive me for being demanding, but I really hope that you update soon. Sooner then you have been. I look forward to seeing what happens next, and what this rising evil is that the kitsune lord was talking about. Ja ne.
