I've always liked the idea of Inuyasha sort of adopting Shippo rather than leaving him behind with Kagome. I'm not a real fan of her, I used to be, but her insistent 'sits' really graved my nerves. Anyway, cant wait for this Shippo/Inuyasha interaction. I think Shippo would probably choose Kagome if given the choice, but in my opinion he'd really be better off with Inuyasha. Loved this chatper because it was so cute! I hope Shippo will be alright. I wonder who found him...

Well...that was...weird. I never thought Sesshomaru would be the type to engage in the bottle. But, I suppose he was all emotional over what he felt about his brother. Happens to the best of men I suppose. It made him OOC times a million, but I think everyone knows that. And, he was drunk, so thats his excuse, and yours. I hope he returns back to normal soon enough! :P -FG

Awwww Sesshomaru is drawn to his cute little brother. XD I thought he was supposed to be the smarter one of the two? Ahaha. I really do like your writing style. Its well written, with just the right amount of detail. Your characterizations are on the mark too! Bravo! Only one real complaint, and thats that your chapters are so damn short! :P -FG

Hm, if Sess's...aura or whatever is supposed to cry out to his mate upon seeing him, how come he hasnt realized Inuyasha was his mate before? Was it because this need of theirs ONLY occurs during mating season? And why on earth am I asking questions when you already have 14 written chapters? XD In any case, I agree that Inuyasha is smart. He'd have to be being a half blood and everything. He'd need the street smarts to survive as long as he did without much parental figures. I'm glad someone else agrees as well! -FG

You should write an AU, of this fic, about what would have happened had Sesshoumaru actually listened to his senses that night, and gone where they were telling him to. What would have changed, had he been there to help, and grown up with Inu, possibly even realizing exactly what InuYasha was before this point.

hey ok it took like three days to read everything that you had written (ur other stories) and I wanted to tell you how much I love them. hoping for some updates congrat on the new baby boy and his first christmas and new years. ok I hate kagome I very rare that I read her and inu together and even then the authors are awesome. so I love you cause I love INU& ESS fics and man I would have kill kagome a long time ago. who I so want to thank you for the ending she says that she love inuyasha but she treats him like a slave dog. I don't the ones I love to the ground by yelling sit if I couldn't get my way. she is so immature I wouldn't want her either and she tried to force her view on other and don't seem to realize that she is not in her world anymore and get with the era. baka! and sango it seem like she doesn't care about inuyasha either like she's here to protect kagome for inuyasha. they are all ungreatful inuyasha does everything for them. hunt the real fighting, tracking and he doesn't sleep cause he watchin out for everyone else protecting them. some friends they are letting a child hurt him. it that away to treat someone? NO! they are all trying to change inuyasha and they think that since inu was with kikyou on some level he should be with kagome. bet she didn't think as far as what could happen after their mission what if the jewel make kagome go back to her time. she doesn't belong there and inuyasha doesn't belong in her time yet. for someone who doesn't judge she does it alot. um ok so now that I have my ranting out of the way (i wouldn't mine if she die by the way. she's in sesshy house and on his lands she need to learn some manners and respect) inuyasha lived 200 years without her i'm sure he can do the rest without her too. Sesshomaru hope he's gettting with the program although he needs more gulity. it's like it didn't occur to him tht inuyasha not the way he like is because he was never really train and he abaondon him so of course he's different from you BAKA!. sesshy should be glad that I hate kagome or else I wouldn't have voted for him to win inuyasha's heart. be funny if inuyasha turn out to be the dominate the female like figure should always rule were smarter. keh lolXD :~) any way i have more praise to give but my hands hurt so in short I love this fic and your other and when in is pup I vote boy or more than one is in there. I'm really starting to want to kick Kagome's ass. Her and Sango both. I've been reading the manga and there is a lot of difference in character traits from the anime. Now I understand why different people write the characters so differently. I swear, Kagome is so lucky to be alive. It's amazing that you've given Sesshoumaru so much patience, despite Inuyasha's wishes. I can't wait to find out whether or not Inuyasha is really asleep or if he is allowing Sesshoumaru to defend him, and maybe for more than one reason. It was so sweet that Sesshoumaru was being so tender toward Inuyasha. I was all warm and fuzzy with the hair combing. Although, Sesshoumaru's more dominant side was about to make a very bad mistake. Actually, Kagome's sit may have inadvertently saved Sesshoumaru from making a very bad move in alienating Inuyasha's human half. Inuyasha definitely doesn't like Sesshoumaru's dominant traits. That was fortunate. Ah, the secret is finally out. Thank goodness for Miroku and Sturaki. Miroku sure is smart, but I hope that he doesn't do any major damage. It is nice to hear that Sesshoumaru doesn't have a real problem with it their mating. At least he was defending it. That was so important. He is more protective of Inuyasha than I thought he would be. It will be interesting to see whether or not it was their father manipulating them that brought them together, though, in the end, it won't really matter one way or the other. Still, it is so good to see Sesshoumaru being such a good mate, his instinctual defense of his mate. Too bad he couldn't defend Inuyasha's instincts. In this case, I think that instincts might prove to be more useful than the human perception of love. I was wondering if their relationship may have taken so long for Sesshoumaru to realize because Inuyasha's growth to maturity was stunted by the life that Inuyasha had to live. Maybe it had something to do with it. Oh, I loved how you portrayed Shippou. Maybe he can feel the depletion of Inuyasha's youki. He would be the perfect go between. At least Kagome and Sango might listen to him. It is good to see him on Inuyasha's side. I appreciate that. I don't think that the girls respect Inuyasha enough to listen to him. He won't be able to persuade them. Not with their current attitudes. Again, Sesshoumaru holding and protecting Inuyasha was a welcome sight. I think they could use another bout of luvin. Through all of this, I wonder what Sturaki, the swan and the wolf are thinking about the whole thing. Oh! And Sesshoumaru was right! What if Inu is with pup and Kagome killed it! It would be so terrible! Please don't let that happen...*whines* I have been hoping that Inu's discussion with Bokuseno would somehow affect how Inu views things. I'm running out of space here. I just hope that Inu is okay, that Sesshoumaru manages to protect him and do something about Kagome and those damn beads, that Inu and Sess won't be affected by a possible manipulation, etc. There is so much to wait for! Gah! Well, I think that you have encouraged me to finally write something. My muse abandoned me. Hm, I've got to give my muse a name. After avoiding me for so long, she deserves it. Thanks for a great warm and fuzzy chapter! ^_^ Snow

I now know the pain off all your other reader. I can see why you would not be able to write as often as you would like. My sister has only one baby (2years) and he is a handful and a half already. I am amazed you have writen this much. Well i hope you get to write some...even if it is only a page or two when you get the chance. i would love to know what is going to happen. The thing that matters is that you don't stop writing the story completely, it's one of the best sess/inu i have read.....I have to admit i never saw some of the things from inuyasha the way you put them, but the way you explained it, they make sense from the actual story. like why don't they take off the beeds? etc. Well hope you get some time to write. I'll be checking every now and again waiting for your update.

14 i really liked the puppy discussion... inu already know he wants sesshoumaru.... and it's kind of cool when Bokusenou mentions that the reason inu is changing is because of sesshoumaru. aww he is making himself EVERYTHING sesshoumaru wants in a mate
