I don't know, I sort of liked it better before the revisions. The style you use now is a little bit forced and a little bit too formal. It reminds me of a Jane Austen novel, or some Victorian era thing. I feel it takes some of the authenticity of the characters' emotions away. Don't forget, the story is also a heck of a lot fun.

Wonderfully written!! Best fanfic I've read in a very very long time. At least six years, easy. It's such an incredibly creative idea, I'm so jealous of your ability ^^; There may be fairly large gaps between updates, but the length of your chapters is definitely nothing to sneeze at, and very much worth the wait. I honestly think that this idea, which belongs solely to you, would make a very good book. Of course, you'd have to change certain things that belong to Rumiko Takahashi, and you'd need to elaborate on the holes that that would create, but I certainly would buy it... ^^; Anyway, please update as soon as you can, I look forward to it. *bow*

You, are a wonderful writer - if I can go so far as to say that without making myself a complete fool. The fact that you have created this little universe with it's own little set of rules, is something not many people could do. It's a daunting task, and you've pulled it off quite magnificently. Your characters have reasons as to why they act like they do, and they have backgrounds; Something very few people take into consideration when actually writing a story where someone's personality drifts slightly to an extreme in one direction. I can understand why Inuyasha acts the way he does, and that is one of the major reasons why this story has become one of my favorites to read. You make the story angsty, without making it seem forced. There's no Kikyo bashing (because honestly, as a character, she's quite good.), and there's originality. You don't know how hard it is to find a story that's original nowadays. You have three types of fanfics in the fandom of inuyasha lately. High School, Old Japan, and just plain horrible. Reading this every two or so weeks is a breath of fresh air that is needed when dealing with a very popular fandom. There are people out there that can turn something like the "high school drama" into something very good, such as Curse of the Dragon, and I'd like to say that this story ranks up there. Keep on writing. There wasn't much I could think of to criticize other than that Mrs. Higurashi seemed slightly off, but thats to be expected. Heck, most of your characters are slightly off, but they stuck to the original character plan, and that's what matters. First time reviewing for this story, but I've been watching it since the first chapter. I enjoy it, and I hope that you release another update soon. A month is a long wait =)

Hate the necklace, love everything else. She's taking him home! Hurray! Now, they will have time to either fall in love o hate each other. And Inuyasha has to brace himself. He will be confronting a very different world to that he's know all his life. A world that probably will be crueler to him. . . And above all he'll have to be prepared for the commotion his ears are going to cause among Kagome's family (his grumpiness doesn't work with mama Higurashi) Poor ears!
