I actually enjoyed that more than the real anime!!! I am quite impressed, that must have been the best, longest, and most fulfilling fanfic I've ever read, and as son as I'm done writing this, I'm going to go back and re-read all my favorite parts. I love how you made Kagome so strong, and some of my favoite chapters were of Yash in the future, longing for her so much, yet having to let her go. And then the angst at the end!!!! GAH!!! I hope they named the little guy Fenik. I don't think it's a lame-ass name at all, especially since he flippin' fell for Midoriko!!! NEVER saw that coming!!! well, anyway, best fanfic in existance, hope you're going to keep writing epics like this, I bow to your greatness, and all that jazz. JA!

Congratulations!!!!!!! I really enjoyed the military aspect of the story, being a one time military brat myself, I found certain aspects very satisfying and also very sad and all too real. I thought Kagome's characterization was amazing throughout the story, and the introduction of some wonderful OCC (especially one particular tufty-eared bishie with the striped hair. Like some of my favorite "dog eared" novels resting on my nightstand "The Phoenix Blade will also reside. I'm looking forward to some one-shots that will hopefully include fenik, maybe something more on his origin and creation. I'm off to Maui for a brief respite, if I find anything on the beach that resembles your bishie eared, amazingly stripped Fenik I let you know. I Love Happy Endings! Warm Regards, Carol

I hope that you can bring out the sequels that you promise your fans. In particularly Exchange. As you can guess I am a huge Rin/Sess fan and enjoyed reading Exchange as well. Looking forward to reading more of your great works.
| Title: CHAPTER 75 PART II Reviewed By: Snowfall [MediaMiner Member] On: July 09, 2008 07:05 PDT Comment/Review: You portrayed Jakotsu exactly how I see him. He's such a violent perv. As always, your description of the massacre was excellent. Gasp! You killed Inu's! Evil you! [snffle] The fact that their mates dropped dead was so awful. And then they were melted! Sesshoumaru can't save them! You are more than evil! I know that there has to be casualties, but…but…[sobs] At least you kept Kumo from rushing in and getting itself (can't remember if it is a he or she) killed. Mukotsu is downright creepy. Little bastard. Oooh, you are so good at making me hate these bastards. Oh yeah. I mentioned in an lj reply that you have been able to make me hate Naraku more than any other author. We'll get to what he deserves later, after other screaming events. I'm looking forward to re-reading the next events. Yeah, I have done some reading on these before, but it didn't really stick because of going through med dosage changes. It all fell through holes. That's probably why I didn't remember the scene with Koga and Ayame. Okay, now I'm ready to go on to the next few scenes! Or maybe I'll go back and re-familiarize myself with the individual Tenbaryu's. ^_^ Snow

| Title: CHAPTER 75 Reviewed By: Snowfall [MediaMiner Member] On: July 09, 2008 05:53 PDT Comment/Review: I lost my place and went back a few chapters, but that's okay because 75 was a great chapter. Kouga's respectful treatment of the wolf taiyoukai showed a more formal side of him, adding to his character. You've done a great job making the characters three dimensional. The interactions between Kouga & Ayame were very sweet and a good lead-in for a relationship between the two. I loved that 'no trace of stinking dog'. Then there was the howl for the dead. [sniffle] It is wonderful to see Ginta and Hakkaku as more than just side-kicks. Their discussion concerning Kouga making them run around was funny. "Is Naraku dead?"…"No."…"There's your answer" LOL Kohire is one of the characters that I need to research. I don't remember him well. However, I loved the conversation in which Kagome points out that he would probably have a "shortened life expectancy" should he point out the connection Kouga has with both humans claimed by two Inu brothers. LOL That was great. There are so many small humorous phrases and I appreciate you adding some lighthearted banter. It's refreshing. One line is: "A set of walkie-talkies would sure come in handy…" I'm not sure that you intended humor, but it's there. ^_^ As always, the fight scenes with Kokotsu and Jakotsu were well done. It broke my heart when the Inu guards were killed. [sniffle] There are so many details that round out what is in the manga. You make it like a novel instead of a comic book. I could right a chapter sized review on a chapter. ^_^ Snow

I have to say you had me drowning in that river of agnst enough that I cried more than I have in the past month. Still I loved the ending. Amazing job, this is by far THE BEST Inuyasha fanfiction I've ever read (considering that's about all I spend my time doing...). Thank you for sharing this tale with us. Congradulations, I can't wait to read more of your stories.

The emotion of the final 2 chapters was overwhelming, and the sweetness of the epi soothed my heart. You did a remarkable job dealing with Kags' PTSD. Momijii to the resuce! Kag's had to be in a setting as close to the past as possible to deal with & get passed the past (makes sense?). It did not feel rushed as long as you keep in mind what a remarkable person Kags is. The note left with her bike in storage lightened the gloomy clouds, and I knew she & Yashita would be ok. Their reunion at the grave sites was a nice walk down memory lane. Such a great idea to have Kags retrek her journey to lead her to her future. I am going to thoroughly enjoy rereading this gem for years to come! Heck, I did that several times over the past 3 years, and always managed to pick up something I glossed over the previous read. This was truely a great & wonderous take on the InuYasha world. Poke & prod them dang bunnies for some fill in stories for the years between the well closing & Kags final return! No, really, I mean it! Would Elmer Fudd help in getting them bunnies in line? LOL! Thank you again for sharing your brilliance!! I hope you will continue to put your 'Feni' spin on the IY universe!

You also make the characters real. This whole chapter felt alive and went by too quickly. ^_^ Loved it. I think I'm starting to really like Kouga. Your portrayals do all of the characters justice. This was a kick ass chapter! ^_^ Off to read more! I will tell you that I have re-read some of your earlier chapters several times over. My favorites were the snake battle (so angsty afterward), Sesshoumaru's interrogation of Kagome and the battle in the keep. I loved Inu and Sess's budding relationship and the fact that Inu had been protected while growing up. [sniffle] Those are at the top of my list of many things that I like about this fic. Off to read more of the band of seven. Oh, I very much like your version of Bankotsu and Jakotsu. ^_^ Snow

I have been reading this fic for some months now, and I just want to say that I love all of your work. You are a masterfull writer, and I can't wait to see what you do next. It is quite saddening, though, that this fic, as well as the InuYasha manga have ended. No...it's really sad. Oh, well, see you in your next fic.

Could there be possible one-shots in the future? Thanks again for such a wonderful emotional rollercoaster of a story. now I'm gonna go and start it all over again ;)
