Infects them! Makes them want to know more...hey wait! I'm beginning to sound like Miroku in this chapter..ack! Teijo in EIMH owes a lot to this chapter. So here is a verse: There once was a sword flashing bright/ That befuddled my brain with its light/Swirling and flashing/Got my brain a-gnashing/The image was love at first sight.

The writing is beautiful and the characterizations absolutely believable (never thought of Inu as being so -- angsty --but I am going with it.) As an old Trekkie, I'm having a little trouble incorporating the talk about the wormhole, Nexus, Time Lords etc. into my mental version of the IY universe -- I keep waiting for Captain Picard to show up (not that I'd mind if he did). At anyrate, I've been glued to this story since early this morning and can't wait to get back to it later (RL calls). Inspiring work all around, L_P!

Midoriko and Kikyou sure had their work cut out for them. I hope that last strategy worked. And I hope that Kagome has done the right thing. I couldn't tell who it was that Kanna had been speaking to. Oh my, Kagome thinks of herself as though she is another Naraku. When it looked as though the group would turn into eight, I had wondered if there would be some result that would give her the impression that she had become like Naraku. I had also wondered about Rin's abilities, whether or not she truly had any. I'm sure that she is Sesshoumaru's anchor and that anchor is outside of the parameters of the group. How can she be tied in without interrupting the balance? It's so confusing! I bet the bird could help(can't remember his name). It appears that things are coming together for the climactic end and I wonder what you have planned for the future state of the world. And I'm wondering if Souta took Kohaku with him. You have left so many questions! Gah! I feel a migraine coming on! LOL You always leave so many questions that the anticipation of yet another chapter keeps me on pins and needles! ^_^ Snow

Did I just say that....LOL..

They suck when they hit and they usually hit at the most inopportune times. Welp, good luck with the rest of the story and don't worry just keep plugging away and you'll be fine.
| Reviewed By: Raeko [MediaMiner Member] On: October 14, 2007 21:09 PDT Comment/Review: Wow, that was a trip of a chapter! You were right about a whole bunch of stuff happening all at once, but I think it works. It wasn't confusing, just fast-paced. Really, it's weird to think that the last several chapters have all taken place in the space of what, an hour or two? Okay, first off, awesome chapter title! I know I said I was enjoying them, but this one was just perfect! Inuyasha telling her how to think like a youkai just floored me...again! It gave me a thrill up the spine the first time around, and I'm amazed that the rerun affected me just as much. And his comment about humans being "stupid about mating" was classic! I sure hope the forging of the Living Jewel wasn't supposed to end up like that, though, and that you get them straightened out pretty soon. Kagome doesn't strike me as the type to enjoy dominating her friends (maybe Inuyasha, just once in awhile, ha ha). Something about the scenes of Kensei creep me out a little bit. I'm not sure what it is, but the way you've described his existence gives me the willies. Maybe it's got to do with the room full of nearly-lifeless family and friends... Oh, and you should probably know that the Kai-wolves have ingratiated themselves with me, and if you really did hurt Jinx like it sounded like you did toward the end there, I'm going to be a little upset. As it was I nearly cried when Runt was killed. Thanks to something you said, I've got a little inkling of an idea about what the heck is going on with Kanna, but I guess time will tell! I'm glad you figured out where you're going with the story enough to post a new chapter, but really, I'm willing to wait as long as it takes--as long as it's not forever, right? ^.^ Again, fantastic chapter!

I have gone back and read the story again to keep it fresh in my mind and I always seem to find something that I missed before. The more I read this story the more I appreciate how complex and in depth the characters are. Your writing style flows exceptionally well and when I read your story I can see what's happening. To me the hallmark of a good writer is that they transport you into their story and you forget that you are reading...you are experiencing the story. Your writing does that. I hope that you have many more stories left to write!! I am eagerly awaiting the next installment....they are always well worth the wait.

Those of us who love the story will wait patiently for the rest. Sorry to hear you've been having a time of it. I've been in the same boat recently, so I can totally commiserate. I certainly hope things resolve themselves to your satisfaction. At least you can joke through it and give us cute little alternate endings. Sometimes it's either laugh or cry, so why not laugh your ass off? Anyway, we'll be waiting patiently like good little fans and cheering you on. Good luck!

Its a very good story... excellent actually. ;) It is no easy task putting out a chapter such as this. So I do appreciate the effort you put into each and every one. And also love the silly bunnies that tend to get loose, lol. On a more serious note, Ill be saying a prayer for you and yours. RL just hasn't been kind to many as of late it seems. Update if/when ya can. ;)

| Reviewed By: Raeko [MediaMiner Member] On: October 02, 2007 16:54 PDT Comment/Review: Whew! I just read that whole monster in two days, and just...wow! What a story! I'm on the edge of my seat here, and maybe I'm luckier than the readers that have been with you from the beginning, but I still can't wait until you post again! I am so intrigued by Kanna's role in all this, I can't even describe it. And maybe you addressed this, but I thought that Naraku had killed Mouryoumaru--does your story incorporate that, or does the divergence happen before that point? If not, how the heck is he alive? Where is Naraku, for that matter? He's been conspicuously absent through all this, and now we see two of his incarnations out to get him. Kanna was the place on the battlefield that was so still to Midoriko, wasn't she? I wish I understood her motivations (as do the entire Inuyasha crew, I'm sure!). Is Souta going to be able to find his way back, and will Kagome be able to help him? I know she realized it was him, but she has more pressing matters right in front of her that need to be addressed, hm? (And that reminds me, you have quite the talent for subtlety, let me tell you!) I was definitely surprised (but pleased) to see Kirara swallowing the neko pride (not Pride, but pride!) to bring Sesshoumaru around, and I think his response was admirable, considering the chaos. Damn, but I hope they all come through this in one piece! Oh! And it's been a long time and my Latin is very rusty, but I am absolutely loving your chapter titles! Excellent story and I hope you update soon!
