Nice chapter. Inuyasha and Kagome are SO adorable together. It was so sweet when they picked out their wedding rings. However, I also liked the "confrontation" with Kagome's grandfather. He wouldn't be a father (or grandfather in this case) if he didn't bust Inuyasha's chops a LITTLE bit. Because he's right; it won't always be easy for them. They are fortunate to be surrounded by open-minded people who love them for who they are....but there are also plenty of Kougas and Kikyos in the world. And they have to be prepared for that. Inuyasha knows this all too well.....but Kagome is still a bit new to it. She's seen Kouga and Kikyo in action, of course, but SHE has yet to be attacked directly herself concerning Inuyasha. Not that I think it would change her mind on bit; she loves Inuyasha so much. But still....she needs to be prepared. Her grandfather is right about that. I look forward to reading more soon!

That was such a sweet chapter with all nervous jitters and heartfelt declarations. I thought the idea of Inu and Kags wearing rings was a thoughtful touch...I mean, in our culture it just so natural to do that it sounds kind of outlandish not to...but that was something clever to include. Thanks so much for another lovely update!! I look forward to reviewing some more great writing ~Reux

That was a great chapter. Ooooh, Kouga got his assed kicked! And Sesshoumaru was a gentleman. Sesshoumaru's position is surprising. Wow. He had to approve the marriage...Congrats on the awards! ^_^ Snow

i'm really enjoying this fic. i'm taking my time about reading this last chappie because i don't know how long we'll have to wait for an update. and i'm really glad you fibally brought sesshy in. i love chappie 17. i am curious about a few things, but it might already be answered in this recent chappie. curious as to if we'll see Kikyou again, how long we'll have to wait before sango and miroku go on their first date, when sango's issue is out in the open with her and everyone, and if u'll end up featuring shippo. well, i can't wait to see more. please update soon and often

Well, maybe you won't believe it, but I was only hoping that the reason for Sesshomaru to show up would be to ask Inuyasha to be Rin's Sensei. I have to confess that I was a little disappointed when I read chapter 17 and found out that Sesshomaru showed up because of a very different reason. Anyway, I was so delighted when I read this last chapter… I'm so happy!! Thank you for updating so fast… can't wait for the next chapter! Ah, and... I e-mailed something for you!

What a lovely treat to be able to read two chapters at once...double the pleasure!! I was only w/o internet for about a week...your updates are amazingly quick! Anyway, I really love the budding relationship between Miroku and Sango. I was waiting for it and reading it was exciting. I'm so happy that Sess and Rin have popped up too...they add great dynamics to the fic. Sess's nonchalant reference to the engagement was so subtle that I had to go back and read it again...haha. So Inu & Kags are tying the knot...I can only imagine what kind of snafus will sprout up because of that... Two wonderful chapters that I enjoyed immensely...thanks for sharing!! ~Reux

Still loving the story! Such a treat to read a few entries in a row! I'm really enjoying the relationship developing between Miroku and Sango. Plus I love the Sango / Kirara conversations (very feline)! Finally, I'm happy Rin is joining the story, and I love the line about Jaken, who will be bringing her to class, "much to his dismay" - I can almost see him throwing a fit with his staff! And next installment - shopping! A silly fangirl request for more youkai-Inuyasha /Kag, if it's to be fated in the story (always had a soft spot for him - I'm sure there's citrus potential following 533, if only I was a writer!). But as always, a treat to read a new installment. Happy holidays and keep writing!

I'm really enjoying this story, and I was surprised to see how well the two brothers got along. Great job as always, blending the characters into a new reality that fits them.

Another good chapter. LOL. Sesshoumaru ALMOST made it through the chapter without being a jerk. He knew full well that Inuyasha hadn't yet proposed to Kagome since he needed his approval first. So, for him tell her like that was just....a JERK thing to do! Sessh has matured somewhat.....but not completely because that was childish. The assassination attempt, though, was interesting. I wonder who would dare try to kill Sesshoumaru. This guy must be smart and well-placed because he nearly succeeded. And, Sessh is probably more concerned about it than he lets on because he never would have told Inuyasha about it otherwise (too prideful). I just can't wait until his arrogant butt has to ask Yasha for his help....because it looks like he's going to need it, lol. As for Rin...too CUTE. And, like in the manga and anime, she is no doubt responsible for the positive changes in Sesshoumaru. And I really like how you brought her in as well. Clever and fearless, not intimidated at all by the "great" Lord Sesshoumaru. Maybe between her and Kagome, they can pull the brothers even closer. I can't wait to read the next one!

Nice, really, really nice chapter! Loved the interaction between Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. Loved the way you filled us with a bit of their backgroung keeping them "in-character" and true to their original story. The way Sesshomaru met Rin, how Inuyasha suffered and his loneliness. Intelligent move the one displayed by Miroku, the way he appoached Sango and allowing her to open up a bit. It's going to be a very long path to both of them, a lot of things to clear up and lots of things still out in the darkness. But as usual, you gave us a beautiful chapter. Of course, I want more and more and more, but that's the drill, ne? Thank you so much for this update, know through your LJ that you are pretty busy, so this is a double thank you! ;)
