I really love the character growth that Kikyou has been going through - realizing that her reasons for ruining InuYasha may have been to spite her mother, and how there's really no hope for kissing and making up. Now she has to deal with the problem she started with Naraku - you're doing a great job of showing that while she may be a villain of sorts in the fic, she has other goals and reasons and has the chance to change her stance. I definitely hope she'll call Kaede soon! Kagome's dream is intriguing... who's gonna die? Could it be Kikyou, there in hopes of making amends despite her thoughts earlier in the chapter? Kohaku, sent on a suicide mission? Kanna, perhaps? THERE ARE SO MANY POSSIBILITIES... It's interesting to see that Sesshoumaru would forfeit his inheritance by tossing Tenseiga. A very nice touch for him to keep it. Knowing that he couldn't revive his father with it would add insult to injury - here's the sword you couldn't save your father with! Keep it or else! *cringe* It'll be interesting to see what happens next!!

Is it just me or is that last one a little short??? and it was all Kagome and Inuyasha, no Sango and Miroku developments at all... just thought it was odd. but great chapter!!!

i'm so glad you updated! i have been following you story avidly and i have been hoping that you would be able to update. i love the rendition of the characters, very modern but still has the heart of their personalities. I love how you actually focused on both couples (M/S, I/K) rather than just the InuKagome relationship. That really gives the story more depth. I shall be waiting for the next installment! Thank you so much for creating this world! I have enjoyed it very much.

Great update. Kikyou is finally trying to sort out the men in her life. She really needs to call her mother. I liked Kagome's dreams as a way of telling us what happened to the boys in the past and what will happen to them in the future.

Good chapter. I knew that little skank from Miroku's office was going to be trouble. However, she got so definitively put in her place by EVERYBODY that I can ALMOST feel sorry for her....nah, not really. Females like that give women a bad name. What a lying tramp. As for the lemon at the end....HOT I really liked it. Great chapter.
