Oh, I love Karin at the start of the chapter. I fail to see how Sesshiro could have found someone who is more his polar opposite. Maybe she'll be able to at least partially remove the stick up his butt over the next several decades? She and Sha are going to team up to drive him absolutely crazy. :) And she's asserting her dominance over the kiddies… Hehehe, guess the "indirect kiss" isn't going to happen. That was a nice moment. I also liked how the jewel disappeared. For weeks they tried to figure out a way, but in the end the answer was under their noses the whole time. It was so simple, and that's what made the answer so difficult to discover. The citrus was, in a painfully inadequate word, HOT. I've always had a thing for shower sex, so that scene really got me going. And I'm glad you decided to do the lemon, even though you said you originally hadn't planned on it. After so much sexual tension and longing, I think I would have felt a little cheated if we didn't see Sha and Kagome get rewarded for their patience and perseverance. And I was right about the bittersweet moment at the end, with Kagome passing away after a human's lifespan. Many stories grant Kagome a longer life, but I'm glad you didn't do that here. Endings are better when they aren't 100% happy. At least Sha has an amazing family to keep him company as he waits for her reincarnation to appear. Overall, out of the AUs I've read, this is one of the two or three best. I truly enjoyed it. Thank you for taking the time to bring the story to life and letting us tag along for the ride.

Not just this story, but updates for future tales, and other current ones too. Not just a literal soon (within a few weeks) but soon as in soon as you're satisfied with what you've written. Beautiful! What an amazing ending to a wonderful stroy. I have loved every chapter the emotions and thought provoking ideas you have put into this. You are amazing I can't wait to read your next story :)

This has been a very enjoyable fanfic - it's an excellent exploration of a 'what if' scenario, and the highest praise I can offer is that these still feel like the characters we know and love. The original characters are interesting and engaging without ever unwittingly becoming the focus of the story. As with all your other stories the writing quality is excellent. This has been a fun fic from start to finish, and I only hope there is more 'in the tank' so to speak for you as far as Inuyasha goes, because these sorts of stories are a wonderful compliment to the canon universe.

I hadn't expected the story to end so soon. Great chapter. Kagome was able to help a little girl and find a career in it. The death scene and afterlife were cool. Poor Sha. I felt really bad for him. Oooh, shame on him for the whole motorcycle thing, but that was a hot lime! ^_^ It's about time he got some! ^_^ I guess he'll be reunited with Kagome in her next life. The Lady of the West was a blast! LOL I see her the same way. Oh! I was just reading Phoenix Blade: Time Lapse the other day...again. ^_^

Lovin' the happy ending! I got some of the references, not all--I'm glad you put them at the end for those of us who thought we figured out something! Really enjoyed the story--looking forward to whatever's next! Oh, and, the scene where Kagome 'died' and met her father (and all the connections there--I'm all about the connections!), that was the best--if I could vote, I'd say that is what it is truly like! Yay! I wasn't expecting this next chapter to be the last chapter, but I think you did a wonderful job tying up all the loose ends and giving everybody their happily ever afters. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of you, so I shall sit back and await whatever new treasure you decide to come up with next!

NO!!! Its over *bawling like a baby*, I wasn't ready yet!!! What am I going to do now, read the dictornary *stomps off to pout*. Ok so now that I'm done thoughing a fit, I got to say that this was really fun to read, and I hope that this isn't the last time you'll write for Inuyasha (even though its over, I'm still pouting about that two years after the manga ended). great update... nice happy ending... seems that kagome and sha were able to help a little girl... karin is a nice addition to family too... good that kagome was able to get rid of the jewel and see her father again... glad that sha and kagome finally were able to be together in the end... wonderful story... good job... great work!

Well, When I said it was going to be a good ride, I wasn't kidding. Fenik, you supplied enough twists and turns to make this a wicked, good read, and kept my mental movie screen busy. Well that was a quick battle. Clever girl, Kagome! I was hoping Sha had a good reason for being MIA, but it appears he hasn't completely grown up yet. I was surprised Sess didn't smack him one, or Kagome for that matter. It's interesting to see Karin coming to terms with her role as pseudo-mother to the boys, and of prospective mate to Sess. I LOL-ed when Tenmaru told them to get a room. :-) Also interesting was that the fact that much of this whole thing was out of her control is catching up to Kagome. Loved the lime, the hair touching, the mutual self-gratification. People can be very creative when they're horny. XD I look forward to the next update.

Yay! An update! And what an update! Progress, progress, progress... Both with you and your story, as well as with Kagome and the jewel! I wonder how long it'll take Kagome to realize the "right wish" is to simply wish the jewel away... or is that not the route you're planning on taking? After all, even that wish could backfire if it simply disappeared, and she died from a giant hole in the heart! Also, she wants to keep and use the jewel if at all possible, as well she should...if at all possible. So maybe your "right wish" won't be the canon "right wish"...either way I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with, and I'm really looking forward to your "new moon" chapter...as is Inuyasha, I bet. *wink*

Another killer chapter (well killer for one unlucky kitsune). Love how things are starting to move along. I hope Kagome can keep up with her increasing control over the jewel otherwise its lots of cold showers for poor InuYasha. I also continue to love how culturally correct you are making the story, it really adds an extra dimension!

i guess with the emergence of such threats one after the other the jewel isn't going to allow any youki near her since naraku, unless kagome either finds the right wish or learns to completely control its reactions. one can think that a little tingle wouldn't be all that bad (interesting sensations), it's when it starts sizzling... ♥
