Well, I sort of called this one, but not really. I didn't expect Abi to wind up as a bloody, burned-out streak on the floor. Your descriptions throughout that entire scene were masterful; I could really get a clear picture of everything Sha was seeing. I liked the "living nightmare" parallel you drew between Sha and Kagome. At first, I wasn't too high on them getting married, but the more I got into it, the more I liked it. It's certainly different, which is usually a good thing, and I'm willing to give it a chance. And in the context of the traditional Japanese marriage and the culture as a whole, it makes sense. The ending to the chapter was very touching; we knew Sha would have to be the one to comfort her. Something tells me that Kagome isn't completely back to her normal self yet, but she'll get there. And *finally* they're calling each other by first names! I was almost hoping you'd have Sha prefer "Inuyasha," if only because "Sha" and "She" look remarkably similar as I'm reading and sometimes I think the wrong person is saying or doing something and have to reread. But if that's the biggest complaint I've got against your story, then you know you are doing a fabulous job. And you are. Can't wait for the wedding and the hijinks that are sure to follow!

I'm so happy that I checked my email, lol. Great chapter, was disappointed when it ended. Can't wait to read about the wedding. The name Sha really irratates me though, just so you know... I always think its she misspelled... But eh, I live... Yasha or Inu would have been better than just Sha... But whatever, anyway, again great chapter, and update soon!

WooHoo! That was a real twist! Loved it! I laughed at the conversation between Inu and Sess about dismemberment and clothes, or the lack thereof. Love your quick wit and sense of humor. Buyo is awesome. I'd love to see her annoy Sess more. Sesshoumaru handled gramps very neatly...like the dismembered cats. LOL That was great! Being married and sleeping in separate quarters is going to suck! I wonder how Mrs. Higerashi is going to explain the marriage to other family members. That is a sticky one. So glad that the couple isn't having reservations over getting married. This is new and quite refreshing. Oh, aaaaaaaaaaand, let me assure you that Kagome doesn't know enough about the situation with Kikyou to pour angst all over it right now. At least, from my perspective. She hasn't had to deal with watching Inuyasha constantly run to Kikyou while she is in love with him. Thanks for that. Onward and...upward. The scene with Inuyasha taking care of Kagome was sweet. I liked how the guards bowed to her. I guess she is royalty now. It was funny when Inuyasha was bounding up the stairwell. I like that you've left him with some innocence; cute little puppy ears turning red. *snicker* It was a real surprise when Sess addressed Kagome as 'sister', cool too. Great chapter. I enjoyed it. Can't wait for Kagome to kick Naraku's ass. I don't have any feelings of sympathy for the girl that attacked Kagome. I know; not very Japanese of me. Too bad. I'm a violent American. Every Japanese anime/manga that I've seen with an American in it portrays the person as very violent. I wonder if that is how we are perceived. *shrugs* Good riddance to the bitch. We get to meet Sesshoumaru's mother! Say it's true! I just know you'd give us lots of fun with her torturing Sess! Yummies! I'll see you next time around. Thanks for posting this. ^_^ Snow

She got it out of her didn't she, that bird brain. Aah what a cruel cruel cliff hanger, I sensed it coming with all that calm after the storm for most of the chapter I just knew it would end in a killer cliffy.

one wonders what he wants-- the poor girl had one boring relationship and she was sheltered all her life-- he's no player either! ♣ i really like your OCs! his nephews can really rile him up-- hilarious jocularity. ♦ i'm thinking that body wasn't kagome and that her jewel enhanced powers took over-- then again, could be a dead kagome (unless the jewel could be extracted without killing her-- it'd hurt like a b*+@# though). ♠ i hope you enjoyed the love song-- in the midst of that he made some really profoundly valid points about shared experience and tolerance, he's really funny too! ~ delighted ♥ ginny

KYA!!!!! Nooooooo! You horrible, horrible person, tormenting us with such a cliffy. That chapter was going so wonderfully. Witty banter, good placement in the competition, then you had to go and attack Kagome. Gah! I love you! You're an action whore after my own heart. ^_^ Wow, Inuyasha can sure pull out the 'formal' when he wants. His words to Sagara were great. I'm worried about someone accusing him of killing Kagome because he's holding Tetsusaiga. You've got me on the edge of my seat. Hope you can get to the next chapter soon. Great chapter! We get some fluff, some comedy (again, the dog-cat interaction was hilarious), and some romance, and then BAM!!! Kagome gets attacked in the locker room. Now I'm wondering if the "blood-soaked body" is Kagome or Abi-hime. You could really go either way, though you would have to think of some way for Kagome to physically wound (not purify) Abi. Maybe arrows? I can't wait for your next update to find out. Do me a favor and don't tell me if you email me in response to this review. Thanks.

great update... seems that the shrine is back to normal... nice that inuyasha was able to go the the competition with kagome... but looks like inuyasha was careless - he should have called for back-up... now kagome is hurt and was the jewel taken?... what's next... update when you can... please and thank you!

Another fun chapter--I really love the banter between Inuyasha's nephews and their grumpy uncle, and the cliffhanger finale to the archery competition was a real nail-biter. Now for a bit of critique: I am not a fan of the "big misunderstanding" storyline, but from an editorial standpoint, I wonder if you aren't making things a little too easy for Kagome and Inuyasha by having the Kikyo/Yayoi issue quickly cleared up with a reasonable conversation between Kagome and IY. Such resolutions are the preferred solution for Real Life, but not necessarily always the best storytelling choice, since you've now dissipated a source of dramatic tension when overall story tension should be building on the way to the climax of your story. Or, to put it another way--are you sure you aren't making things too easy for the two of them, and sacrificing internal conflict in favor of focusing on the external conflict with Naraku and his minions? Just my editorial two-cents' worth...all in all, though, this is a really fun story and I'm enjoying each new installment tremendously.
