Gah! Cliffy! Awesome chapter. I was so worried about Karin and am soooo glad that she is with Sesshoumaru now. Sota is a real character. He'd probably get up and fight right now. Maybe he can be an asset in the battle. Can't wait for it. You are so good at choreographing battle scenes. Man, it sucked that there was a spell to keep the bad guys from getting blasted when they touched the swords. Naraku is too damn smart. I'm sure that Sesshoumaru made them late so that dawn would come all the sooner and I hope they have the chance to put Naraku down for good. I just don't see how they can now. You've got me scared that something bad is going to happen to Kagome. I felt so bad for her mom. It was awe inspiring when Sesshoumaru bowed to the photo of her dad. You've got me all jittery and on the edge of my seat. Thank you for writing and for posting a great chapter. ^_^

So is Kagome screaming because she is truly scared and panicking? Or is she trying to lower Narakage's guard? Well thank you for writing another amazing chapter. nice to see that after five hundred years he has matured and is now able to express his emotions. interesting that most authors don't think he can grow-- and the whole precept of the series is about personal growth and self discovery for nearly all of the characters. ♣ at least they're on the same page in their 'positivity' now. ♦ the height of audacity to deliver his taunt in person-- one believes that naraku may be a bit overconfident, it might just prove to be his undoing. ♠ youtube.com/watch?v=h9JgkA_Xq1E ♥

Isn't it amazing how feeling sorry for yourself can backfire? The one you love starts to feel the same despair and then you get pissed at yourself for making her feel that way. Nicely done with that whole scene. And I liked how you had Kagome's fear come back to bite Sha another way…almost literally. He must have the restraint of a saint to turn THAT down!!! Good thing he was thinking with his bigger head instead of the smaller one, because they don't need any more complications right now. Hehehe…even with all this angst you still manage to write in some pretty entertaining banter and some very entertaining necking. Oh, that Narakage is so deliciously twisted! 'Wear white and red for me' is a great line. He puts the canon Naraku to shame, and that's saying something! Can't wait for the 'dragon-shit to hit the fan.'

Wonderful as always. One minor technical note though. Lunar eclipses only occur during a full moon. Its solar eclipses that happen during the new moon. But I love your theory that being born is their most vulnerable time and therefore sets their cycle.

So why isn't Inuyasha's human night as big of a deal as it used to be? Is it because he has Sesshomaru and his sons to look after him or is it because he has less crazy demons after him trying to kill him. Or is it both or none of the above. Poor Inuyasha he's been throughso much he can't lose Kagome now it's not fair! It was a great chappie darlin' lot's of emotions and thoughts running around. I can't wait for more. I wanna see what happens to Sota and Karin too.

Sigh. Nice and long, too. I didn't want it to end, but when it did, I was ok with it, for the moment. Worth the wait. I loved the description of Sha in his 'feral' state. For me, the best part of this absolutely fantastic chapter!

Yes, what price indeed? Loved the action this chapter. You have me scared shitless at what Narakage might have done to Miss Mifune. I'm expecting some more emotional turmoil from Kagome once the fatigue wears off. She hasn't really had time to think about killing that guard or Sota getting kidnapped. Sha's pessimism is another thing that needs to be dealt with, as it could end up hurting everyone in the end. If you don't believe you can win, then you can't. Excuse my rambling, but I tend to write too much when I'm into a story. Waiting eagerly for your next update!
