*Sighs*. I had a feeling from your author's notes in the last chapter that things would take a turn for the worse - well, even worse than they'd already gotten. I mean, I know Heero's a smart guy, but sometimes when it counts most Heero's so obtuse. Here Wufei was practically laying himself bare by asking Heero if he was worried and Heero came back with the brilliant response, //Of course I was worried. You were drugged, and you're a highly skilled warrior. If you'd snapped, grown violent, Winner wouldn't be able to do more than slow you down.// Great work, Heero, great work, that's exactly what an emotionally vulnerable dragon needed to hear - Idiot!!! ***All this time I'd thought that Heero knew what he wanted from Wufei yet didn't know how to express himself properly, but now finding out that Heero doesn't want anything from Wufei makes me sad, especially after Wufei allowed himself to consider Heero his lover. Then again, I'm thinking Heero must want something from Wufei, maybe he just never thought of it in the same context Wufei is thinking of it in, after all, if Heero doesn't care for Wufei you'd have a pretty difficult time wrapping this story up within the next two chapters. I'm thinking Wufei just misinterpreted the situation. //Wufei noted the way the blue eyes dilated sharply as he hit close to home.// Did he really hit close to home, or did blue eyes widen in shock because it was so *NOT* the truth? *pounces on what she thinks is the Word* It's "lover" right? He said "lover" =D I don't think he's said that before, if I remember right. They were partners, fellow samurai, never lovers >XD *squee* That was a shit load of angst o_O; I was almost blown as far as Heero was by Fei's punch at that. @.@ You never do anything half way. It was nice though. Everything's getting out into the open. Hm.. have a feeling that this next chapter won't be super happy either =( Poor Heero. *pats the poor confused man* I'll tell you what, though. That lemony scene, I was sitting through it and thinking "Now watch this be a dream..." You can be cruel like that =p It wasn't though, so yayness ^_^ Am sad that this is coming to a close, but I will also be relieved when I can throw up my hands and go "FINALLY! They're not so clueless anymore!" Probably not "best couple" material but at least they won't be clueless anymore ._. That counts for something. *sigh* I really wish mediaminer allowed paragraphs in their reviews because all this oneness is starting to bug the crap out of me... `NOt only found the lover reference (after reading the lemon two more times ...º.º what can i say: I am a slow hentai.... there is also the kissing. They never really kissed properly, did they? more like just munched each other up? sweet lemon ***** five stars!!

Wow...Heero sure fucked up everything in the last chapter. I know something bad was going to happen after that sex scene. *sigh* I wonder where Wufei is going and I hope Heero lets him cool down before trying to find Wufei.

You thought you could throw it by us didn't you? ...Well actually until you mention it at the end in the notes I didn't even realize... Wufei refered Heero as a lover. Whoa... I stand by my last review. Wufei IS a woman, and as the "man" nothing Heero does will be right. -_- Poor Heero. Damn only two more chapters? Then the epilogue? It's been many months of waiting and reading, now 34 chapters later you hear it's the end. It's almost tear-jerking on that alone. Sitting here staring at this screen after being awake for 21 hours I come to realize, this is one of my favorite stories. No, maybe even my favorite, and it's going to end. Sad, sad indeed. I sit here hoping the 2 weeks will come fast then again maybe never come at all. Yup, I really do need to get some sleep.

::jumps up and down:: I want a star i want a star i want a star!!!! He refered to heero as his lover right? STAR FOR ME STAR FOR ME. ::runs in circles:: this made me all tense and tingly and yes. Not just because the lemon was fabulous (which it was) but because the whole thing was good and he FINALLY had his breakdown which i've been waiting for for AGES and if you leave me hanging for TWO WEEKS I'll probably die and be dead and i won't be able to write reviews anymore. ::nod:: hmm...i think you HAVE to write both epilog + additional bit so you can try to make 200 reviews. come on you know you want to, all the other kids are doing it......

Now I really want to smack Wufei. Could Heero be screaming "I need you" or perhaps even "I love you" any louder? Wufei has his head so far up his own ass he can't see beyond it. I'm starting to think Heero would be better off with someone like 04, who wouldn't need everthing spelled out for him. Seems both 01 and 05 are suffering from a bad case of "if he loved me he'd know" syndrome. Smacks and whaps all around! Grrrr. (You do realize this all actually constitutes high praise for your storytelling, right?)

Is the Word "his lover's"? Fabulous lemon!! Everything one could have hoped for, at least this one, but the aftermath??????? Argggggghhhhhhh! You are so evil! I wanted Heero to backhand Wufei, just to get his damn attention! But damn hot, too. Don't know what else to say except---woof! Pantinly awaiting the final chapters. Sending Death Glare your way if you think you're going to end on a doom and angst note with this reader, though. Now back to my own Wufei, who's getting far different treatment from someone else at this very moment in Ch. 60. *wink*

Just a quick note to say, THANK GOD AND ALL THINGS HOLY THAT YOU UPDATE REGULARLY!! My friends and I have started a prayer circle to ask his Holiness to take care of life's little distractions like picking up your dry cleaning and Krogering so that you may spend more time creating. The Great One balked at first, but after sending him copies of The Whispers Arc and The Arrangement, his is much more amicable. Oh, and he says The Arrangement is "yummy".

Wufei is such a hypocrite, he hates how women act with their emotions and what not, but he sure does act like one. He is so brain dead too, he expects Heero to just out and say what he feels like say -I love you- if thats the emotion but Heero had no emotional upbringing and Wufei knows that. So why has he deluded himself into thinking otherwise? Yes, I know, he is afraid of getting his hopes up. I'm just amazed at how emotional this is getting. I know you said there would not be any candlelight dinners and marriage proposals (many times) but Heero's recent attempts at affection are more then I thought would happen. Surprise, surprise. Ingenious story twist. Also, the only thing even more amusing then Wufei's jealousy fit was the line ~he spun, and ducked as a gigantic fly dove towards his head. Air support! These beetles were organized!~ Lol Topnotch story Mal, superb.

Hn. It's sort of Wufei's own fault that Heero didn't inform him. "I'll see you when I see you." I think in Heero would interpret that to "Don't call again, just come home when you're done." New partner, hell I'd be jealous too. Those two had made a point of working with no one but each other. Then all of a sudden, Heero's working with someone else. Poor Fei.. Ah well, if I read that last line right -big if- they'll be able to hash everything out in the next (few?) chapters. Then Fei can get over his stint of male PMS =p Great chapter. =D

Making us wait for the next part - it's too cruel!!! I don't have university until ten but I wake up at six on the mornings I know you're going to update because I can't wait! Now I have to wake up early again tomorrow even though it's my day off because I just can't wait!!! Unless you post early and it comes out before I go to bed. Hint, hint =) . Anyway, that kiss Heero gave Wufei really took me by surprise, it's so cute how he's trying to show Wufei that maybe he wants more and silly Wufei just keeps trying to dellude himself into believing that it doesn't mean anything. He's so stubborn I just want to bash his head in. *** "He told everyone you're likely to talk to that if they gave you any case details or anything to work on, they'd be dealing with him." Swoons! I want a man like this too!!! Smart of the others not to risk getting it wrong ^__^. *** I think Wufei's a little jealous of Armand, but it's okay, when Heero returns, he'll show Wufei that Armand hasn't replaced him, although I wouldn't want to be in his shoes when he returns and Wufei confronts him. Wufei's just a *touch* grumpy, what with thinking that he's been abandoned. Your little comment in the author's notes about all being revealed in the Epilogue had me jumping up and down. Now I completely and absolutely can't wait until the Epilogue. The only bad thing is, I don't want this brilliant story to end even though I want all to be revealed. Damn, but you just can't have your cake and eat it too!!!

I'm with Race. Wufei needs a spanking, or at least someone to smack some sense into him! Poor Heero; he really is trying, isn't he?--with no skills and no encouragement from Wu. Maybe Duo could come for a visit? He'd give it to him straight, so to speak. Loved the attempt at a goodbye kiss, with the embarassed dash for the door. I'll say it again: poor Heero! Caught in a trap of his own making. Wufei harkening back to the 16 year old Heero who set up this deal, was a great touch, esp. since Wu seems to have no concept that people change as they grow up. Very much looking forward to Heero's homecoming.

You were right about thwaping them. Wufei, at least, needs a spanking or something. Poor Heero, utterly lacking in social skills and left floundering to deal with WuFei. Loved the scene in the grocery store!
