Now, a promise is a promise, isn't it? I really didn't see the last one coming... Vegeta turning mortal by his own will, it was quite clear to me from the moment I read about what Bardock said were the options of whatever it was. But Goku giving up his immortality... They really seem to be bonded like brothers with Vegeta, just like in the anime, ne? ~giggle~ I can't wait to see what you're going to come up with next! And the chapter with the wedding is going to be interesting, I just have that feeling in my gut. ~giggle~

Clearly I've been misguided (just like the enter key was when I pressed it too early a sec ago) because all the time I was trying to broaden my horizons beyond B/Vs by reading (mostly bad) yaoi all these weeks, I could've been actually ENJOYING myself reading this fic?? I just finished it. I must admit that the concept didn't thrill me at first--too A/U for my mostly canonical taste. But just as with phantomscribe's Homicide, I had to be taught a lesson in playfulness--this fic is a great ride, with a story that is very fluent from chapter to chapter, lots of delights along the way, and creative re-characterizations. I especially like your Goku. And now I've been spoiled, reading this all in a couple sittings, because I want another chapter. *pout* debbiechan
