Another compelling chapter--again, you do *such* a good job creating complex, believable, flawed characters. And talk about great jeopardies! This novel is so original and so firmly anchored in a universe that seems as real as our own... And I'm really happy you're updating so quickly! Love how you've resisted the temptation of making Inuyasha and Kagome's family All Happy, All the Time--you did an excellent job in the last chapter of setting up poor Miroku's insecurities about being replaced by a biological child of Kagome and Inuyasha, and what a payoff you gave us in this chapter! Cool! The only thing that's really bothering me (and this isn't necessarily a flaw in your story) is how the family is handling the doctor's legitimate but poorly-expressed concern about Kagome's induced lactation and her subsequent complaints about having her car vandalized by Inuyasha. Now, you've certainly set up the doctor as an unpleasant, overbearing, xenophobic bitch, yet despite her unpleasant personality, she *does* have legitimate grounds for filing her complaints. Power corrupts, and Yukio's methods for intimidating the doctor into accepting the settlement offer really cast him--and the rest of clan--in a bad light. By suborning the police, the prosecutor's office, the Medical Board, and other public institutions, Inuyasha's family has corrupted the system. Yeah, the doctor's an unpleasant person, but it doesn't make threatening to take away her ability to earn a living because she dared to try to sue in response to a legitimate grievance, or forcing her to accept a settlement any more acceptable on an ethical level. Quite frankly, Inuyasha was in the wrong when he damaged the doctor's car, and her attempts to pursue her grievance have resulted in her forced exile from Japan under the threat of professional ruin and bodily harm. Not very appealing...it would be interesting to see if you decide to deal with ethical implications of this whole issue. In any case, these last few chapters have certainly got me thinking--another example of the really excellent job of world-building and character relationships you've done here. Keep up the good work!

This may sound fanatical, but I've really come to see this fanfiction as the way that the original storyline should be carried out. So much of this fic makes sense to me, and besides from being *crazy* in character and amazingly fun to read, it just has a captivating style. It's so creative and original, and it blends so many elements together that I leave feeling completely satisfied. This is a wonderful story - thank-you so much for writing it!

That was soooooo good!!!!!!!!!!! I was hoping that Inuyasha would hear the noise in the kitchen and come stop the fight before Kagome saw! Poor Miroku, they should have sent him to therapy after what his mother did to him. It would have been better than allowing it to be bottled up and grow inside of him until the time when he would just blow like that. I can't believe all the things he was saying, to Yukio, about his dead mate, about Inuyasha! What if he was alpha-male and Kagome had to do what he said, would he have made her give up the baby. She is too far along for abortion so what would he have her do??? Now Yukio is going to have to call all the sibs and tell them what happened. That would be way too much trouble for me, they all need to have like specail phoneline, dail one number and all their phones ring! Inuyasha should have knocked him out sooner, not just play around and let him think he's winning. I don't know what he'll do after seeing Kagome all drugged up and hooked to mechines, Miroku better whatch out. I'm so relieved that Sesshoumaru was there to stop Inuyasha from ripping apart the hospital. It's the only time I've ever been glad he was stronger (in theory). At least that doctor's out of the picture!!!! So when's the next chapter????^_^

I love this story and will be sorry when you reach the end of the tale. I've laughed. I've cried. I've cheered. You are an amazing author. You've taken a world that someone else created and created your own wonderful world with it. Many other authors have tried but only a few rare ones can succeed at drawing their readers in as well as you have. I thank you for sharing it with us.

i love you. why? because you've written the most wonderful, beautiful, funny, amusing, heart-wrenching, tear-provoking fanfiction I've ever read before in my life. and I'm sure that goes for a lot of people. i love how i can read the lemon and not feel guilty cuz this is NOT smut in any way what so ever, this is friggin ART. I've followed it since chapter 11, when i heard about it from Kristin. how long ago was that? i can't even remember. but since then i've been eagerly eating up each chapter, and never getting tired of it. i really do wish this fic could go on forever; but i know that would be a pain in the ass for you. i hope you DO continue the story till when inuyasha and kagome die together, and a nice epilouge to wrap up the end of the story. hopefully, i will have the pleasure of reading more of your work. i think you could write one hell of a novel, and i would buy it even if it cost me a hundred dollars. Thank you, Terri Botta, for writing this. You ahve provided your loyal readers with so many laughs, and tears, and 'AWWWWWWWWWS' to last us a long time, or at least till the next time you write. I must agree with Inuyasha about 'women and their damn planning.'lol. If I had to describe your fic in one word I would use... ummm... Well, I can't! Because your fic is soooooo good/extrordinary/amazing/excellent/perfect/wonderful/touching/funny/great/ and catching that it is impossible to describe the fic in one word(as proven). Before I start rambling like I do sometimes, I take my dos and leave you to writing while waiting at my computer for your next update.

ok.. you don't need ME telling you how good this is! But I will anyway! Terrific, fabulous, great! ect. ect. ect.! anyway, I just caught up to the last chappie, (bad caliko for falling behind!) And I can't tell you how much i enjoyed myself! Loved seeing 'modern' yasha-baby! Happy to see kagome back with her mom!
