I was so upset from the previous chapter (I actually had nightmares...sheesh!) that I was looking for your newest update, but too scared to re-read the last chapter as I usually do. This story just keeps getting better and better! Thank you for the newest chapter, which, while emotionally moving, did wonders to heal my (and our lovely hanyou-youki families) hearts. I really love the family interactions in this chapter--poor Yukio struggling with the sudden promotion to Alpha while Inuyasha is comatose, and the interplay between Eri, Miroku, Ryoukan, and, of course, Sesshoumaru (saying one thing and doing another, as usual, trying to deny he's got feelings and that he's worried). The only criticism I have is that it took a while to catch on that we were in Yukio's POV...you use "he" at the beginning of the chapter, and given that we've also recently been in Inuyasha's POV, and Miroku's, it would have been helpful to give us a name early on. As always, great job and thanks for updating so quickly!

woohoo!! ok, so barring catastrophe, you're having them survive. phew! I was getting worried! What are you going to have them name the pup? and how much different from a hanyou pup will this one be? Heck, he's 3/4 human... There's going to be some difference, I'm sure! I'm so glad they seem to be doing alright. :-D I LOVE this story. It's so wonderful! Please continue when you can!

OMG - I've just caught up! I know, bad me! I hope that Inuyasha, and their child will all make it through alright, but I'm glad that Inuyasha has bonded with Kagome, under the aid of Tenseiga. I knew that none of the family would let anything happen to them. I'll be e-mailing you as soon as I can about the book, once I get home from work...and where do you get the shirt Kagome was wearing? I really wish you had made the pup a girl...we already saw how Inuyasha raised Yukio. I think it would have been nice to see the change if it was a girl. It is always nice to see characters like Inuyasha raise a daughter. I know he has a lot but it would have been nice to see it for ourselves instead of just reading a summary of it. And an ass-kicking daughter would have been a great add on since you mentioned all the time how the pup must be a boy. Well there is nothing this review can do about it. I still love you and the story to death but its just kind of dissapointing.

You can use a bit of grammar there but the story is compelling and VERY entertaining. I think yours is the best first time I've ever read. There is a big paradox in your story: if Kikyou and Kagome never die in the next 500 years how can kagome be born and kikyou reincarnated? both souls are in a body when Kagome is born in the modern era. But that is ok, I have been enjoying your story immensely and I truly appreciate that you update often. There are SO many wonderful stories out there that NEVER get finished. Thanks.

What a wonderful and heartbreaking chapter. It took you right in it's teeth and tried to break you apart. WOW! I didn't know whether to scream or cry. Thank goodness for the healing sword!
