Heh. Busted! Yukio's how old? 250+ years. And he still gets in trouble for going out without telling his parents where he's going. Sigh. Some things never change. Heh. Great chapter. I love the way a relationship is developing between Emma and Yukio. He needs to relax and enjoy. He shouldn't stay widowed and grieving forever. Besides, if his first wife had any love for him at all (and I think she did) she would want him to be happy.

Love it! Love it! Can't wait for the next one! I hope Yukio is able to open his heart again to Emma. She seems like a nice girl... If she breaks his heart though, I'm not sure he'll be able to take it a second time.

Haha. My home town is Park City, Utah. I've snuck into that hot tub dozens of times at the hotel. I was even on the Canyon's ski team. Brings back good memories...

Wow, another wonderful chapter! On your reference to Muslims, I wanted to say its not "damnation to the soul" to touch a dog, yes we do think them unclean, especially thier saliva. But many Muslims do keep dogs, not in the house, but outside as gaurd dogs and of course dogs for the blind. And after touching a dog we do have to wash ourselves. Anyway, i greatly enjoy your story and look foward to reading more! Layla~

It breaks my heart, the pain he must be going through. He misses his wife so much. Upon thinking on it, if I were married and was in the same sinario as Yukio, I think that I would have killed myself. I don't think that I could ever watch the one that I loved and married become increasingly older and then eventually die, leaving me there in my own age, with just a memory of what was and what could have been. It makes me want to cry so bad. I guess it dosn't help that my brother is playing the titanic theme song on the piano. But I really hope Yukio is able to get over his wife. And move on.... soon.
