Haha! Poor Yukio. You would think his mother would trust him and not worry so much about him after so many years. Yet, I can relate...no matter what age I am, my mother will still stay up and worry about me too. Ah well, mothers will be mothers.

Okay, minor thing. The second night they were staying at the Grand Summit not the Holiday Inn. You slipped near the end. Other than that great chapter. I can't wait to read the next one.

Poor Yukio, I feel so sorry for that guy. Anyways, onto the writing itself, I love the way you weave a story it really envelopes the reader. Your use of history and current events makes the story seem all the more real, despite it's bases founded on myth and farytales. I know you write the longest chapters in fanfiction history, but I just have to say that I hope you update soon. I'm really interested to see where this is going.

As in The Lucky Oness, I just adore the character interactions in this story. Poor, messed-up Yukio (and he really needs to get out from under his parents' thumbs..."Where have you BEEN?" for a 500 year old hanyou is pretty darn funny. this was a good chapter and inuyasha sounded like a typical parent with the "where have you been" line. its going to be interesting to see if youko gets with the n.a. girl. do you pull these things in your story from real life? keep up the good work, dark

When a good story ends, one where I have enjoyed spending time with the characters, even if it has a good ending, I get a bit sad because I can't continue on with the characters. But sometimes, if I am lucky, there is a sequel a that maintains the quality of the original work. Thank you for doing this sequel to The Lucky Ones. I am interested to find out what sort of differences there are between Japanese youkai and new world "youkai" (don't know the appropriate name), if any.

m'lady, what you have, is known as talent. There are few who can equal or surpass you in this department. You are practically an entity unto yourself! My first fic of yours was, of course, the lucky ones. I practically weep just thinking about it! Then i read the card game one-shot...forget the name. And now i see you have a new fic. Well, there are no complaints here! I agree wholeheartedly with your new adventure. You have yet again, found a new way to combine everyone's fave characters together. i am anxious to see the next update. I cannot wait until the meeting with the mother and kagome...that'll be fun! And inuyasha meeting her dad? oh hells yeah! there'll be sparks there! fun fun! I just wonder what did happen to coyote...hmmm... as to why the pup was underweight, have you read niamh st. george's fic of gods and monsters? the theory there is that it is the youkai father's job to keep the pup content and well. if coyote wasn't there, that explaination would work. if you want to read it (and haven't) you can find it at green tea (http://www.everniamh.net/). it is a wonderful story, incomplete, but wonderful. Poor Yukio! He would be an amazing father with all of the experience he's had and just his natrually loving ways. Hopefully Emma catches and keeps his interest because everyone deserves to have their dreams come true. LOVED TLO and will definitely love The Coyote Child!
