And a single rose...aw man, this is so bringing out the hopeless romantic side in me! Just that whole evening seemed so magical and beautiful! ::fluffy sigh:: heh, I want to go do that some day! The whole bit with Pierre was interesting...Zelig will live, and Zelig will die, and all that will be said for him is that he held his damnable honor in the highest of regard...was he referring to the fact that Cain's honor bound him to follow after Isabelle? I'm still so curious to learn more about her death. And 49...beautiful, simply beautiful! And I love how Cain's youkai said that she was the one he should have waited for...and just wow...lol, I don't really know what to say! I say this every time, but just the love and emotion you put into these scenes, it always astounds me. You just capture the beauty of the moment and make it so much more, and I adore that. ::dreamy sigh:: Beautiful chapter! 50...aww poor Belle and losing the earring! I'm just loving their whole little trip in New York, it's so fun! Great chapters!!!
| Title: chapter 46 and 47 Reviewed By: DawnFire881 On: July 30, 2005 18:12 CDT Comment/Review: ...ok I've come to the conclusion that mmorg hates my reviews...sorry if you get like a million of the same review that I keep trying to send! Anyway!! Chapter 46, I loved! Heh, I love how Gin referred to Cain as her little puppy, I just thought that was really cute, and I loved how he picked her that flower she helped her Grandma plant. Heh, and comparing him to Inuyasha, I think that there are a lot of similarities between the two! ehehe, bumps, that's cute and so very Ginish. And handfulls! Oh gosh, that whole conversation was entirely too amusing, especially with Cain's 'I do not have a pee pee' And oh my, Belle is sunbathing topless!! LOL, I bet that surprised the heck out of Kich! Heh and Belle is certainly not embarrassed...I give her credit, I would have been beet red and wanting to die! lol, that was a great chapter! As was 47! I love that he bought her the dress, that's so sweet! That whole part was so cute, her blushing and him kissing her forehead. Just that whole chapter was beautiful. I just loved seeing all the little surprises that Kich had done for Belle. I love that he wants to make her smile. I have a feeling there's more to this night too! I can't wait to read more!

I cannot possibly imagine that more than ONE stupid, naive, insensitive person ticked you off that badly ... but its clear that it takes a toll on you when it happens, and I, for one, understand COMPLETELY why it does. These stories are YOURS, your "children" so-to-speak, written for YOUR pleasure and shared with the rest of us because of your HUGE, loving heart! You do not get anything other than the satisfaction of knowing you've made so many people so VERY happy with each update that it seems totally rude and inconsiderate of someone to take pot-shots at your characters, question their actions and motivations, and, in doing so, question YOUR actions and motivations. I haven't reviewed in quite a while, but rest assured, I've hung on every word you have so faithfully churned out for bottom-dwellers like myself. I am not worthy to post this review, but felt an overwhelming need to let you know that your FAITHFUL readers are still right behind you 100%!! Thank you from the depths of my heart for all your hard work on this and the many other stories you have so brilliantly crafted ... YOU RULE! ;D
| Title: chapters 44 & 45 Reviewed By: DawnFire881 On: July 30, 2005 18:11 CDT Comment/Review: Wow, life needs to slow down so I can catch up with it! I feel bad that it's taken me so long to catch up with your chapters, Sue, I'm sorry about that! Since I do have quite a few chapters I want to review, I'm going to break this into parts again (since mmorg has a character limit), I hope that's ok! heh Chapter 44, I love that Kich wants to buy Belle panties, that's too funny! And I love that bet! Poor Belle...3 days of doing whatever Kich wants, it'll be great seeing what he can come up with. ::grins:: and that one girl was a dog groomer...how appropriate! lolol. And Gin has realized that she loves Cain...I still feel so bad for her whenever she looks at that picture, but I love that she's figured out how strongly she feels for him. Chapter 45, I love the discussion that Gin and Cain have about her drawing...that she looks at things the way they should be seen. That's one reason that I love Gin, it's so true about her and it's such a neat quality. The chapter title is so fitting! Kich and Kelly's conversation was so interesting, and that Belle had Kich buy those things for Kelly instead of for her. I really like Kelly! heh, Belle likes carriage rides...that would be so fun! I hope Kich takes Kelly's advice and maybe does something special like that for her ^_^ The rumors that Kelly has heard about Isabelle's death, very interesting! First we hear how Cain blames himself for her death, and then this. I'm so curious to learn what really did go on! Great chapters!

Of course Inuyasha is more protected over Gin, because as you said, it's his little girl, and also the baby in the family...at the moment. Which reminds me...I wonder what Inuyasha and Kagome are going to have...hopefully a boy...that way Gin remains the only girl.
| Title: For the love of god, MM.org, please accept the spam protecion code I type! Reviewed By: Aitu [MediaMiner Member] On: July 30, 2005 14:48 CDT Comment/Review: Muy Bueno senorita! I just love what you do with words. It looks like Cain is slowly losing the war that he is attempting to fight against himself. It's kind of like something I learned in one of the biology classes I took-- if you put a frog straight into boiling water, it will jump right out-- but if you put the frog into cold water, and slowly warm it up until it boils, getting itself cooked. Kind of gross. well maybe not. I've never had frog so I guess I cannot judge. Oh, wait, where am I? Did I get off track just a lil bit??? Yes, back to Cain-- he's kind of like a frog in that manner. I just love what you've done with the characters-- And absolutely love Kich and Belle's plan of not having any kids, hehehe. I'm also interested into seeing how Inuyasha is with the new baby on the way--hmmm, maybe if it's another girl he will losen up with Gin just a little bit; or maybe he will become extra protective over his two "little girls." Psht, Pft, kah to whomever suggested Inuyasha was Abusive. I was reading through some of the reviews and saw that someone talked about a dad threatening a gentleman caller with a gun, haha. I can so relate. But instead of one over protective father, I had like 10 over protective fathers-- (My father's friends)-- and for some odd reason, there was usually one where ever i was. If that wasn't bad enough, I often times would get "Oh, you're _____'s daughter..." And that scared them away. Thank goodness for moving away and college! hehe --Aitu
| Title: Ch. 54 Reviewed By: DarklessVasion [MediaMiner Member] On: July 30, 2005 14:16 CDT Comment/Review: Hehe, Kich volunteering his father's services to train Belle to protect herself is ingenius. Even if it's only to spite Cain...just the right carrot to tempt InuYasha into agreeing. (He loves thumbing his nose at the powers that be!) In fact, telling him 'no' or 'you can't' is a sure way to ensure he'll do it. -- WTF?!? Someone is spouting abuse while referring to InuYasha's insanely protective habits with Gin?? Heh...live with real abuse or neglect and you would kill to have a father like that! Some people don't know what abuse is. Abuse is something that hurts someone else, either physically or emotionally. Jeeze...InuYasha would cut off his own legs with a dull spoon before harming someone he cares about in any fashion. Kagome and his baby girl, being at the top of his "to protect" list, are happy and healthy in his care. Being irritating and irrational while he's doing it, is not abuse, it just shows how strongly he feels about his percieved duties...and woe to any idiot who crosses the line and incurrs his wrath. His protection stems from love not control or perversion. Big, no huge difference. *damn soapbox keeps slipping under me* -- Aww, I feel the angst building up behind all of that 'cute' togetherness between Cain and Gin. And he went and confessed that he took the teaching job because...he saw her. What an ego-booster. *sigh* God, I love your kind of angst. - Brilliant chapters! - M

| Title: Ch. 53 (got it right this time) Reviewed By: DarklessVasion [MediaMiner Member] On: July 30, 2005 13:23 CDT Comment/Review: It looks like Cain is still somewhat in denial. Not about how he feels about Gin, but about how serious their relationship really is. Definitely more than just friends-with-benefits and getting closer every minute. Like getting too close to the sun, eventually the gravitaional pull becomes inescapeable and you better prepare for the hottest landing of your life. (wow! neat metaphor, even though I know you can't land on the sun...eh, oh well) Huzzah! We're headed to Chicago!
| Reviewed By: fireflyskies [MediaMiner Member] On: July 30, 2005 13:17 CDT Comment/Review: Seriously, who thought InuYasha was being abusive. I haven't read anything in your story that would suggest InuYasha was abusing his daughter. Being overprotective is way, way different. He just wants to protect his daughter. that's all. You are an excellent writer. I will be sad to see this story end. I'm sure you've already had a ton of reviews just like this one, but I had to say something.
| Title: Ooops! This one is for Ch. 52 (the last one was 51, silly me) Reviewed By: DarklessVasion [MediaMiner Member] On: July 30, 2005 12:41 CDT Comment/Review: Can we say 'awwwwww'...sure, I knew we could. O.o? Kich wants an army of pups?? Wouldn't litter be more correct? LMAO
| Reviewed By: QamarNoor [MediaMiner Member] On: July 30, 2005 12:29 CDT Comment/Review: Abusive??? I don't understand how anyone could think that. There is a large difference of being protective and abusive and Inuyasha is just being protective (perhaps overly so at times, lol- but he loves his girls). I have to sya again just how much I love your stories and amazing characters this one in praticualr holds a special place in my heart- because I can relate to Gin and Cain's relationship rather well, having one somewhat like there's. I also am the rather sheltered child protected by her parents. I look forward to reading more- your stories really make my day.
| Reviewed By: serendith [MediaMiner Member] On: July 30, 2005 12:20 CDT Comment/Review: I absolutely adore your characters. They don't act like my family but then my family doesn't consist of protective inu hanyou or youkai ... I think that it is endearing and fits them. I want you to know that I enjoy your story so much that I had a friend log on and print me out the chapters last week because I was in the hospital and unable to get to a computer (I am fine - it was nothing really serious). My friend thought I was odd (she isn't a fanfic or Inu junkie - I pity her) but I reveled in the pages upon their arrival. Your posting this chapter early suits me just fine because I have to go in for one more quick out patient procedure Monday and am told that I won't be reading much until Tuesday. Your writing is fantastic and your characters believable. If people want to read fairy tales then they should look for an author who isn't as interested in depth and character development. Yeah, Cain and Kichiro can be laconic at times but a care-free, articulate, unburdened lead makes for a very boring, shallow story. I thank you for not taking that route.
