Kind of angsty and sad, but light hearted and happy too. I really loved this chapter,it was very cute and very thought provoking. I'm already having mental images of Cain and Inuyasha finally confronting each other flash through my mind. It's kind of scary! LOL! Hope you feel better! Tylenol 3 it what I had to take, but it made me hallucinate. Hope you feel better and your halluncinations are few and far between if any! I was tripping so bad I couldn't even sleep!

Yet another great chapter. The sad thing about this is that both Cain and Belle can't move on.. Belle is too afraid of losing her daddy and Cain is afraid of his future? Not to mention the way you wrote this whole chapter the birthday scene being a little light hearted and the developing angst they blended well. I thought the Cain and Inuyasha confrontation was going to come to an all out war, thank goodness for Kagome! I hope they can work through this so-called dislike of one another for both Belle and Gin's sake.

Leave it to you to pull out the "servicing" type comments right when I thought it would be safe to drink while reading LOL Oh well... poor Cain. I'm beginning to wonder more and more if he'd 'messed up' during the marking... it would certainly be a painful memory. But his youkai, if I remember correctly, says he didn't make the promise to Isabelle, but he did make a promise... to her memory? Perhaps the promise wasn't to follow her in death, but to never love another? And he's simply waiting for Belle to find a mate so he can essentially 'hide' forever? Of course I could be completely off base too ^_^ Lovely work, Miss Sue. Thanks for sharing it with us!

And so the truth draws nearer and Cain (poor Cain) sounds like he's about to go off the deep end. On the other hand, lol, I nearly popped a vein the other night while reading this, trying to figure out what Kich & Belle's and Gin & Cain's kids would be to each other. Cousin-granparents? Cousin-great neices/nephews? Oh...how the mind boggles.... I had a bit of a head ache after trying to figure that out :P Excellent chapters. ~Mockingbird

That kinda made me want to cry. Cain being so forlorn about everything, it was a bit depressing...Is that an angsty part you meant? I'm sure it gets sooooo much worse too. And I wanted to tell you I think "Dr. Deviant" is one of Kichiro's best nick names so far. Hehe.

Awww....how sad. I feel so sorry for Cain...he needs someone to cheer him up...maybe if he tells someone what happened to Isabell he could live a happier life, but then again, I can also see why he doesn't. Uh-oh, what will Cain do when he finds out that Kichiro is his daughter's mate...OUCH!! Anyways...I was wondering (I want the author's permission before I do so) I would like to try to attempt at some pics for a couple of characters in this Purity. Would that be alright?

lol, you bit the dentist! ...i'm sure he's used to it... he prolly works w/ kids... anyhow! great chapter!!! and i dont know if i want to mention this or not, b/c it's a goooooood thing... but this story seems to have more limes in it than the others. which i love! i so do! it's great! it's just an observation. did you do it on purpose? or just b/c? also! you said there would be angst! but there really hasn't been too much! thank god! i'm scared for them! lol... ;) ugh! so much! i want so much!! i want to know what happened w/ cain and his first mate! and i want to know why he didn't die... is it b/c his youki didn't choose her? and what about kich's research?? will belle be his ultimate lab rat? lol... this story is, as always, wonderful. keep up the good work, and ...keep poppin those pain killers. a happy writer = happy chapters. ;) we dont want "pure desicration" to actually happen in the series ;).... how the hell do you spell that... desecration?...desacration...eh. anyhow, i'll see ya next chapter!

Well, inuyasha took the mate news really well. I was looking forward to the first Yasha/Belle training session. So many wonderful possibilities. I never figured we'd get Ryo thrown across the dojo though. Though, I think Kich may have told Yasha more than he wanted or needed to know. Man, your dentist exposed his hands for attack? Mine just sticks the metal things in there. You can't really bite the metal things, cuz they hurt. Well, the 3 days of wait were totally worth it.

Wow, that scene between Cain and Gin was beautiful. Cain is slowly but surely accepting Gin for what she is. Things look like they might be looking up. I loved how you tied in the pictures of Gin and Cain with each other to that scene. Gin gets to see how happy Cain truly is in them. Then on the other hand we have Kich and Belle...that was pretty hot! It was interesting to see how Kich had a bit of materialism going on. Of course, I feel the same way 'bout my piano. ^^; I loved what he said concerning the piano: "There are three things in this world that I do not joke about, Belle: my family, my mate, and my piano." In any case, I found what happened after that citrus scene to be pretty hilarious. I can definitely imagine Belle waving to Kich's cousin, despite what was going on. It just...fits with her. That little bombshell of when her birthday was was pretty funny as well. Can't help but wonder what Kich is planning...awesome chapter again, hope you feel better soon! (yea, thank God for painkillers!) d('')b

Back to the last two chapters, Belle waving at Toga was priceless! She has no shame! Lol I love her character so much, though I felt Kich's hurt at her behaviour and to add salt to injury her birthday news (though the way you wrote that scene was great, I laughed at the way she announced when her b-day was). That makes Inuyasha and Toga witnesses to their escapades, I would love to see Ryo's face if he were to ever walk in unannounced now that would be well worth paying to see! Cain's conversation with Sesshoumaru was a great show of both protective uncle and care for Cain; am I right in assuming he knows of Cain's promise to Isabelle? Hence the warning and subtle advise. I thought that scene was great character development. This has to be the worst kind (in a good way) of addictive obsession ever! Glad to hear your feeling much better after you bit the dentist! ^_~
