Wow... this chapter hit home is so many ways... the music... the ballerina present... ah... and I can feel the intense ROMANTIC angst coming up... I wonder how Inuyasha is going to take this? Hehehehe... and... did Cain kill Isabelle because of something going wrong with Bellaniece's birth? But, he didn't really kill her, just something went wrong? I thought at first it might have been when he had tried to mark her or something and she had died from it... but that doesn't seem right... man... excellent plot coing along, Sue, kudos! OH, and good luck with that first day of school... the insanity doesn't end, even when you get into high school... well, good chapter, keep 'em coming! ~Jesachi

Fortunately for me, there's noone in the office right now to see me cry. If this is just the beginning of the angst-fest, I might need to come in earlier so that by the time peopel come into the office, I'll look ok, instead of having a red nose and watery eyes. :) Wonderful, wonderful chapter. Daddies are just the greatest.

Oh, you had me in tears. If it weren't for the Belle and Kich scenes, I'd have been in tears start to finish. It's amazing how you can easily blend each characters story into one. Good luck surviving tomorrow!

I've had a lot of catching up to do, Sue. You made me want to skip work just so I could finish! I came back from out of town and, lo, and behold, there was citrus content! Very wonderfully and tastefully written, might I add. And funny, in Belle and Kichiro's case. ("You looked?" "I waved.") But, oh, that last chapter. Hmm... storm indeed. I really hope Cain is just blaming himself for her death.... He doesn't strike me as a cold blooded murderer. Please let there be something more to the story of Isabelle's death. Oh, and an odd question (that I'm not sure has been asked before)... why didn't anyone shorten Bellaneice to Bella? Just wondering.... Anyway! Hope you had fun school shopping. Thank you so much for creating this world that we all know so well as Purity. You truly are a gifted writer, and I wish that I could possess the talent that you do, and inspire the way you inspired me. Somehow along the way...because of Purity I've decided to gather some courage and submit a manga for RSoM...and while the plot line in my head is nothing like the Purities, it was your stories that inspired me to make such a bold move on my part. I'm a heavy fantasy reader and writer myself...but somehow you managed to combine a completely fictious story and world and make it and all of its characters seem...alive. I try to explain to my my friends your fantastic plotlines and characters that are all so well developed, but I never seem to do it justice, though I have gotten some to read it. I check Purity 4 daily for udates, and 'attack' anyone who tries to pry me away from the computer before I'm done. I know this is a weird stretch of the imagination coming out here...but, I personally believe that once a writer creates a character, world, story...whatever. Those characters go on living in an entirely difference sense than we think. So I'd like to think that The Izayois and all their families are out their living happily. Mabye its me just being crazy, but you just made them so real to me. Thank you so much Sueric, for sharing your ingenious mind and talent with the world...and for bringing the entire Purity family to life!

well I figured it had to do something with the marking or Cain causing Isabelle's death. So sad but boy what a jerk he is. He is so focused on the anger and this honor thing that he is missing his one solace " Gin". I can't believe that he would take out his pain on poor Gin. It seems that instead of celebrating life as in his daughter's birthday, he is so wrapped up in the pain and death. How sad. The characters I feel sorry for the most is both Gin and Belle. They both deserve so much more love than what Cain can give them because of his emotional pain. Well as always Sue, only you can write really bitchin good angst! lol. Have a good weekend and take it easy. Thanks again for a bunch of great chapters this week. J

Now, mind you you really don't have to answer (like I could make the the Queen O' Angst do anything.) but I'm going to throw out a guess that Cain tried to mark Isabelle and something went wrong...really...really wrong... And he's angry at Kich because he didn't think (what was he? 12?) of the refined marking thing until after Isabelle died? Or I could be jibbering nonsense, but...in the end...all that matters is that you showed the dentist whose boss! Don't take gruff from any doctor! And once again I worship the (incresed?) limey-goodness of you literary works, along with strong doses of angst and plotline (Omg...)And the wonderufllness of really over-protective fathers. I feel sorry for poor Kagome.

I just thought of something...I went back to chapter 15 to get some details about Gin's wings and obviously I stumbled upon the incident where Cain is thinking about Isabell and marking her...could that be what killed her?? He tried to mark her and he accidentally killed her during the process? Oh man, I hope we find out the whole story...but knowing you we will!

HE KILLED HER?!?!? Really, poor Gin . . . i feel so bad for them. It seems like everything's going great for Kichiro and Belle or um . . . I mean Bellaniece. I wonder though . . . did Gin's brothers know about her vacation with Cain? Cause they act like they didn't. Good work though Sueric and please keep it up ^_^ Jaq*~

o_O Holy...I know you sort of foreshadowed this, but hearing him admit it was just...insane. Damn...I'm kinda speechless right now. Reading the last chapter, I got the feeling that...something was starting to snap in Cain. Just not this. Oooh boy...how the hell will this one end...?
